I know very well that most persons have the knowledge of bitcoin and have even started investing in Bitcoin before joining the forum. But for the period have been here, I notice that most of the old members here always think newbies are new to bitcoin. When newbies post things about bitcoin, most old members tend to have negative quote about it, as if newbies are not qualified to talk about bitcoin.

Do they think all newbies that joined the forum have no knowledge about it before joining?

The truth is not all newbie's are new to bitcoin, majority of newbies here in this forum know about bitcoin before joining this forum, while some newbies are totally new to bitcoin. On like me before I joined this forum I already know about bitcoin, but I was still in doubt of bitcoin, it was in this forum that I came to know more about bitcoin, it was when I start engaging in discussions with some reputable members of this forum that I came to understand that bitcoin is a store of value with potential returns, when you buy good portion of it and hold for long term 4 to 10 years or more. And members of this forum also cleared the doubts I had towards bitcoin, and right now am a lover and a supporter of bitcoin project.

I first know about bitcoin in 2013 when my dad bought me my first laptop. I know it on games on my Windows laptop which are demo. You will have to pay money (bitcoin or fiat) before you can continue to play the games. Bitcoin was available for payment. But funny enough that I did not know that bitcoin was money at the time.

I know about this forum in 2019 after I know that bitcoin is money. I read the same on a Paxful article in September 2019.

With the way bitcoin is now in Nigeria, in a way that even singers are using it in their songs, people that are joining the forum now may likely know bitcoin before knowing this forum. Unlike in the past.

There are movies that I also watch that bitcoin is used as money or mentioned. The one I watch few weeks or months ago is G20. Also I have watched Nigerian movies that bitcoin is mentioned but I do not remember their names. I even searched online for G20 before I see the name again.

Of course, I don't think so because many people may have a lot of good ideas about bitcoin before joining the forum, it is normal bro. When he comes to know about the forum and he comes here and may already know about bitcoin. It may be that the new one who comes knows about bitcoin better than everyone else in this forum and it may happen and it is normal.

However, there is a slightly different opinion many old members think they are less interested in bitcoin. I believe this is entirely wrong because a new member who comes to this forum may know less about the rules and regulations of the forum but they may already have good knowledge about bitcoin. Seeing your post reminded me of some of the first posts. Newcomers to the forum are considered to be complete newcomers. Nothing will happen about these but if you post authentic and sound quality from your side, nothing will happen.

New members in the forum comment differently from old members because many alt accounts are used here, so old members make different comments. However, if a new member can create high-quality posts and gradually master the forum's rules and regulations then nothing stands in the way of their progress.

If you have know Bitcoin before you join the forum is a good thing and if through the forum you know what Bitcoin (crypto currency) is all about im sure is all a good thing. Besides what's the essence of the forum if it can not teach one about crypto currency? However don't be discouraged because inside every bash talks there's always one statement that can help if you view them the other way.

That is the misconceptions in most of di people and you can see day misconceptions in speculation board and beginners and help board. Many newbies wey dey here in di forum Sabi Bitcoin pass us, and when dem analyse am you go confirm say.dem no be newbie in cryptocurrency buy only newbie in di forum.
But di only thing I can say be say, a newbie is always newbie when it comes to di forum. Even though you know bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies before coming to the forum, you don't know how di forum operate so far make you a newbie in di forum.

I have never come across where a newbie is been attacked by those high rank members except you're just missing the concept of the discussion or maybe they see that your point or opinion is misleading, aside from this I have never see a newbie who is making a meaningful post and sharing good thought being attack by high rank members.

Not really, Moreover some newbies is even more educated than most of the high rank members here, educated I mean in terms of crypto investment and sharing of business ideas and others. The reason why we address them as newbies is due to their rank but that does not mean that they should be underestimated.

To be honest not all newcomers are new to Bitcoin because in this era, everyone involved in computer systems probably knows about Bitcoin. Bitcoin has become more popular than ever before, but this is not only possible because of the people who join this forum. With the way Bitcoin is now, I think many people know about Bitcoin before they know about this forum. Moreover it is currently seen that films include Bitcoin education, which is why many are enthusiastically accepting it, such as Money Electric.

This is not reasonable because no old member always thinks that newbies are new to Bitcoin, as long as you share informative posts and important ideas, experienced members are bound to respect you. Therefore based on experience, many new members are able to move forward very easily.

Not all newbies are new to the crypto space.  In fact, some of them have more knowledge than some old members. Bitcoin education is all over the Internet and this is not the only crypto forum.

I don't think any old member would look down on any newbie who posts quality information on the forum.  They might suspect that you are an alternative account but you would be appreciated and respected for your knowledge. The forum member PowerGlove is not a very old member, but he has earned respect in the forum because of his experience and skills.

But it becomes irritating when new members who are novices begin to spread false information or spam in the forum.  Senior members might begin to react negatively.

Don't feel attacked, and don't feel intimidated. If you know what you are doing, stand your ground and share what you know. Nobody should bully you because you appear to be a newbie.

Some higher-rank members have that impression about some newbies due to the high rate at which some newcomers make use of AI to share something they know nothing about, but if you are the type that is knowledgeable about a particular thing before coming to the forum, your knowledge should be shared freely without minding how others see it. Take correction when necessary, but don't fall for bully words.

Perhaps it's just your perception of it, you think that old members shun newbies when they try to share what they know about Bitcoin but in actual sense they are just being corrected. Not all newbies are new to Bitcoin, as a matter of fact some have been earning from it before joining the forum. We must agree that the forum gives members especially old members sole experience about Bitcoin and also the knowledge that they need but this doesnt mean that they are an island of knowledge, they are still open to learn If you have something important that you like to share

You are right buddy, not all newbies are new into Bitcoin.
Some of them have been into trading and investing for a long time ago and as well have the full knowledge about the Bitcoin,but some of them was not aware about these forum.and that's why they are not here before now but since they find out about the forum they  joined and due to they are not use to the forum,it makes them look as if they are learner.just give them little time to pick up with the forum rules and regulations,you will be surprised with their write up or there contribution here or their topics.

But I must tell you, that many of us are still new both in the Bitcoin and in the forum as well..

No newbie have been attacked for saying something right, whenever you feel attacked after creating a topic, know that your topic is what have been repeatedly discussed here and is only adding up to multiple threads of the same content but all from newbies. It's clear that newbie should read within the forum, not just to understand about Bitcoin but also know things about the forum, but lately what we see from newbies are repeated topics, some have their first post teaching others that Bitcoin is an investment or thread about Bitcoin for the long run which is a more popular knowledge already.

Many of us did similar things when we came new, but those repels you call attacks are what made us able to survive until today, gotta put your head down to learn more.

Most of the newbies here are new to bitcoin, from my observation, na just few people sabi about bitcoin before Dey join this forum, and even if dem sabi about bitcoin before they join the forum, then I go talk say most of them never really go far in bitcoin journey, Dey never really sabi much yet about bitcoin, so forum wey dem join increase their bitcoin knowledge. Like me now I don Dey trade small small before I join forum, actually I never too get proper knowledge, so as I join forum, e really help me very well.

The answer is yes. Op I believe before you came up with this topic you noticed something that is not cool it could be a response from a higher rank member to a newbie or something but then you just have to understand that you have to pass through different stages if you must get to the top.

Some higher rank members don't think some of the newbies they come across on the forum have knowledge about Bitcoin that's why they question them when they teach certain things which they think higher rank members ought to teach.

The truth is that most newbies are not new to cryptocurrency they discovered the forum very late but since they don't know how things are done most people will not take them seriously sometimes they even refer to their accounts as alts simply because they say things that some members thinks should be known by higher rank members or accounts.

I don't think the older members think all newbies aren't familiar with the industry but a majority of them actually don't  have a clue of what they're saying. It's quite obvious in how they view the industry and that's why the OGs try to correct them before they start spreading false information across the forum to others. The things the newbies are posting is showing that they're newbies so they shouldn't be angry when they get corrected. Read the discussion between newbies and that of legendary members and you'll see the difference. It isn't just about hearing about Bitcoin but do they understand what Bitcoin is all about and how to navigate the market. Make e no suprise you say some people still dey think say this is just a pump and dump market.
