Satoshi Nakamoto is not as mysterious as people often think. Anyone who has looked deeper into the topic and done proper research can quite easily come to the conclusion that Satoshi Nakamoto is actually Nick Szabo.S.N. = N.S.

It is impossible to say for sure whether Satoshi Nakamoto will come back. Maybe Yes, maybe No. But the way he left (leaving the project in the hands of the developers and adhering to the principle of decentralization) suggests that Satoshi Nakamoto will not come back. This project should be developed by the efforts of the BTC-community without the founder's intervention, which would make the project vulnerable (centralization).

If we assume hypothetically, then Satoshi Nakamoto's return will not necessarily have a negative impact on the price. Maybe even the opposite, Satoshi Nakamoto's return will create additional hype for the project and cause an increase in demand for this asset. It seems to me that faith in the value of bitcoin can only be undermined by Satoshi Nakamoto's start selling bitcoin from his wallet. These are all just assumptions.

I don't think that curiosity is a catalyst for investor interest. I believe that the most important role is played by "faith" in the future of the asset (both from the financial-economic and technological sides).

Its not true, not everything we see on the internet being said by people we should believe to be true, people are curious because they wanted to try out something new, needed an alternative to fiat currency and wanted to be in control of their finance, make international transactions at an affordable rate with the use of p2p network, entirely different form the fiat system.

Nah, I don't think that Satoshi will simply reveal himself at this time. Obviously, he knows (if he/she/they are still alive), it will have a big dent on the market. So he won't just surface anytime soon.

As far as curiosity, I don't think that it's the factor why BTC stands up today. It has a good use case for sound money and investment and hedge and store of value. Anything you can think of as pure definition of crypto is embodied on BTC already.

And even if they copy it like how many forks we have, they didn't duplicate the success of BTC. It's the prime mover and too big too fall.

Several cases about the reveal of Satoshi has been  discussed and holds no relevance bond because no one of the guess has ever been right or proven their claims of who Satoshi the founder of Bitcoin really is.
I am already fed up furthering related discussions but I think I like this one that talks about the effects of Bitcoin price if Satoshi is become known.

That is by the way, once Satoshi is made known, it decentlized Blockchain will lost relevancy because, Satoshi will be regarded as the chief administrator and so forth some selfish authorities would have him (Satoshi) in their command to regulate the market price and also will become a loophole for the vulnerability of the Bitcoin core reliance.

That aside, he will be at the point of risks maybe to kidnap him and force to steal his Bitcoins. Noting he has the highest portfolio in the Bitcoin market with over 1M Bitcoinas as claimed, if such amount is pulled out of the market then it will definitely affect price.
This is just as the fear we have that Bitcoin price will crash if all investors invested in the ETF sells all their Bitcoin assets.

Although Satoshi is the creator of bitcoin, bitcoin itself is completely independent, it does not depend on any individual, including its creator. So I think the appearance of Satoshi will not create any significant changes as many people have said.

Like any other asset, bitcoin's value comes from its use cases, utility, and real world applications. It cannot be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, be globally sought after just because of curiosity, or just because its creator is a celebrity.

Satoshi Nakamoto left and disappeared with solid reasons. I am not Satoshi Nakamoto but I only think of some most likely reasons

- For privacy, anonymity and his safety individually, assuming Satoshi Nakamoto is a single person.
- For benefit for Bitcoin project and Bitcoin community. After developing, launching and contributing for Bitcoin project as well as witnessing its growth to a strong level enough, he decided to abandon and actually give Bitcoin project completely back to community.

With two big reasons above, Satoshi Nakamoto has no reason to come back.

I do not think Satoshi will reveal himself to the world. They know the value of bitcoin may fall if they do that and that will not be good.

You don’t get it - if Satoshi ever revealed himself in public, his life would be in danger. If he’s alive right now, he could already be living the best life with money he could never finish in his lifetime. So why would he need to reveal himself? It doesn’t make sense.

Whatever people say is just speculation, but if you look at it logically, there’s no way Satoshi would come out in the open. That would be suicide for him, IMO.

When I come across posts like this or tend to entertain these ideas I begin to ask myself:

Will Satoshi Nakamoto being back do more good to Bitcoin?
Would it improve anything on the Bitcoin network?
Would it be of real meaning or offer a sense of security to Bitcoin enthusiasts around the world?
Will it be a reason why people would want to invest in Bitcoin?

I very much don’t see or attach much importance to Satoshi Nakamoto being back and I don’t think the founder ever will. Bitcoin is better this way, it was a people’s consensus network and that works just fine for Bitcoin.

You don’t get it - if Satoshi ever revealed himself in public, his life would be in danger. If he’s alive right now, he could already be living the best life with money he could never finish in his lifetime. So why would he need to reveal himself? It doesn’t make sense.

Beyond security issues, he would cause a distraction to the progress of Bitcoin, people would focus on him rather than the project and the community would want to revolve Bitcoin progress around him, his actions and his activities.

His absence has helped Bitcoin stand strong over the years and helped more with the decentralization of Bitcoin. If he appears people would want to look at him as the final authority in Bitcoin and it would defeat the knowledge that no individual owns Bitcoin.

Government may slap him with different law suits and criminal accusations.

If he surfaces, knowing that he owns an enormous 1 million BTC, Bitcoin price would crash because FUD may arise among investors who would think there may likely be a possibility that those coins would be dumped  by him.

It's better he stays anonymous, it's very good for the progress of Bitcoin.

But also I don't think the community would easily buy those people said that they are the real Satoshi Nakamoto. Since for sure that many learn a lot on Craig Wright's case.

If Satoshi Nakamoto ever real himself, this would be the end of Bitcoin and investors would be panicked which will lead to a severe bear market. We don't need to be contemplating on the identity of Satoshi because he had already play his own part and left us to moderate the network.

I don't think his identity can ever be revealed even if the name Satoshi does not belong to a particular person. This might be a name of group of persons that worked to create the Bitcoin network; the blockchain. If Satoshi has been around since, I don't think people would want to invest more on Bitcoin because of the fear that the originator could come up one day and crash the market. This is what makes Bitcoin more stronger.

Exactly that is the best way.

The best life is when you have a lot of money and no one knows about it. With that, you can go to any party without anyone knowing you and bothering you. If you are popular or famous, it is very difficult to go shopping alone in peace without being bothered by anyone. It is great when no one knows what your financial options are or what decisions you can make. If someone lives like that, they live a wonderful life in peace and will i think he/she/they help other people.

This really got to me. It is about time someone said it. Satoshi will never back and doesn't care for whatever conversation we have about him. He has probably moved on to some other important stuff. In my estimation, the dude just wants to be let alone for now and I think we should. But I don't think that will happen. Every now and there someone will bring up a conversation about it, I guess it is something that we will have to deal with.

Even if Satoshi returns in the end, it will only be speculative, as currently no one can truly verify that he is Satoshi, even though many people claim to be Satoshi, but validation is clearly difficult to prove.

Even if he does appear in the end, Bitcoin will still be independent because Satoshi himself cannot stop Bitcoin.
There may indeed be an impact on the market, but ultimately it could be 50:50 because it could be bad or it could be good depending on how people respond.

But the most important thing in this case is why Satoshi would reappear now after more than a decade of making himself invisible and untraceable.
If he ultimately wanted validation for the popularity he has gained, I believe he would have done so long before today.
