Which can be more addicting between the two: placing small bets every day or gambling only once or twice a year but doing so with huge amounts of money?
If you place bets every day, your brain might get too used to it even if it is just a small amount but betting less frequently but with bigger amounts of money may lead you to be emotionally attached to that money and may feel extremely happy to win and extremely disappointed to lose.
So what do you think gets someone more addicted?

We call someone addicted when they gamble continously and they can't stop it even if they want to then I guess betting everyday with small or big amount is who we should call an addict which doesn't necessarily mean we have to as long as they know what they are doing and if they want to stop it then they can those we call as responsible gamblers. So how much money is spent here is irrelevant to the addiction factor, it's just the frequency of their action towards something.

Both definitely will lead you into addictions since gambling realities doesn't cones from how many times you gamble or how much bankroll is in your possessions, this are what you must take into account, so if you cant manage your little daily gambling how can you manage when you have huge bankroll but limited time, this are what we must consider when making this kind of comparisons. Gambling is all about management and decipline if you must overcome gambling addictions, so even having huge amount of mone2could become a trap for a gambler that doesn't have self control in the first place.

I think frequent gambling will strain the brain's neurons more and become more persistent. There's certainly research on this, but I haven't fully examined it. In my opinion, frequent gambling is enough to form a habit. If that habit is gambling, addiction is inevitable. There's a 21-day rule that works.
Gambling two or three times a year with large amounts of money doesn't affect most people, in my opinion. If they win, they win or lose, and they'll try their luck a few times a year.

No matter how much money you play twice a year, even if you play two times with 50.000 dollars each, you cannot become addicted by just playing two times a year compared to someone who plays 100 USD almost every day, this persons is in much more danger of becoming addicted. Like they say discipline is more helpful than talent and there is no different in gambling, there is the same analogy, you become addicted to something you are accustomed to and if you play every day you start having discipline in doing it while if you play just two times a year no matter how big the amount the risk of getting addicted is lower, this is my honest opinion as a gambler with more than 25 years of experience in it.

Gambling everyday is a kind of addiction and most probably you may plan of using small amount of money but in reality you may not know when you will increase the money. I gamble just during weekends and I still make sure that I am not wasting money on gambling.
Gambling just one or twice in a year with huge amount of money is not realistic in my opinion because anyone that is gambling will still like to gamble like maybe monthly or in two months than to wait for up to 6 months before gambling. Someone gambling just two times in a year is not addicted if he can afford to lose the money he put on the game.

To be able to gamble once or twice are year is that you don’t enjoy gambling and you need to be at least a gambler to have the courage to gamble with a huge amount of money so there are worlds apart. But if you can not enjoy gambling or not a gambler and was able to still gamble with a huge amount of money I can place a bet that you won’t be able to do that only once or twice a year it doesn’t matter if you had won or lost the bet.

Both are dangerous financially but making small bets every day already means you are addicted. Making a very big bet once a year doesn't mean you are addicted, it just means you are either stupid or you know something the other people don't. Addiction-wise, making small bets are more dangerous but financially it is safer since it will take a longer time to lose your initial stash. It is the exact opposite if you make a big bet. Addiction-wise it means you are good but you risk a lot of money that way on one bet. Once you lose the bet, all will be gone in a second. I can't make a decision between these two different approaches because making a big bet is also mathematically smarter than making a thousand small bets because of the house edge.

Both can lead to addiction even if it's small amount and for huge amount is much more prone to addiction as it will make someone wants to recover the funds and losing even more. This is just the same as alcohol which can make a person alcoholic even it's just a small amount of alcohol consumed. So, in gambling where a person doesn't have self control can become addicted no matter the amount being gambled in a casino or any gambling platform.

So what do you think gets someone more addicted?
I think that betting regularly but with a small amount will make a person more addicted than the other. The reason is that he uses his brain every day and may face losses and profits, and definitely, he will chase his losses because he has nowhere to go other than this casino. In the second case, he has strong control over himself, as he only bets twice a year. From here, you can imagine how strong his emotions are in gambling, if he loses or wins, he will go back to work, and after a few days of engagement at work, he will forget what happened the previous week. So, yes, betting daily will be more addictive compared to having only two bets a year.

First for clarity sake let's use the term mind or subconscious instead of brain your brain has cognitive abilities but embedding gambling in your mind or subconscious is the problem. The goal is to gamble at leisure not necessarily calculating how many times you have to gamble like a timetable. 2 bets a year could wreck you as a gambler similarly gambling everyday could do the same. The concept it to gamble maturely and responsibly. If you ask me I'll say the best schedule is to gamble when you have free funds and you feel like.

I believe gambling addiction isn't about how often you gamble or how big or small your bets are. Addiction can occur when you don't have a proper mindset about gambling, gamble without financial management, and don't manage your emotions. Gambling every day doesn't make you addicted as long as you set limits and can control your gambling well, especially when coupled with a healthy mindset and don't rely on gambling for income. Gambling large amounts once or twice a year can actually prevent you from enjoying the game itself, as we gamble for the thrill. If you gamble large amounts, when you lose, you won't experience joy, but regret. Gambling with regret can sometimes lead to uncontrolled emotions, leading us to gamble again with the same amount in the near future.

From here, you can imagine how strong his emotions are in gambling, if he loses or wins, he will go back to work, and after a few days of engagement at work, he will forget what happened the previous week. So, yes, betting daily will be more addictive compared to having only two bets a year. Betting small amounts every day slowly builds a routine that can trap someone into addiction. it’s not really about the money because even if the bets are tiny the brain still reacts to the excitement the risk and the small rush of dopamine that comes from winning or losing. over time this constant stimulation becomes something the brain expects daily like a ritual that has to be done. when a person skips a day it can feel like something is missing and that discomfort pushes them to keep returning. the more it repeats the stronger the pattern becomes until the gambling is less about money and more about satisfying the daily urge. chasing losses here is also dangerous because small losses pile up and the gambler thinks just one more bet will fix it which keeps them in the loop. Placing huge bets only once or twice a year works very differently in the mind. the emotions can be extreme because the money at stake is big and the outcome matters more. winning can feel like the best moment ever and losing can feel crushing but once that period passes the brain cools down. since the events are rare the gambler has time to return to normal routines like work or family life and that makes it easier to forget the outcome after some days. unless the frequency increases the risk of long term addiction is much lower because the brain is not being trained to crave it all the time. So between the two it is the daily small bets that carry the higher risk. addiction has more to do with frequency and habit loops than with the size of the money. a person who gambles rarely but with large amounts might face heavy financial or emotional consequences but their everyday life structure is still stronger. the daily gambler creates another life that revolves around betting even if the money seems harmless at first and that repetition can lead to dependency. What makes gambling addictive is not only winning or losing but the way the brain starts to link gambling with routine emotions like excitement stress relief or escape. once that link is built through repetition it becomes harder to break and that is why daily small bets end up more addictive than the occasional big gamble.

Which can be more addicting between the two: placing small bets every day or gambling only once or twice a year but doing so with huge amounts of money?
Surely you can't compare both of them. Of course a person that gambles small amount frequently is more likely to get addicted than the person that gambles once in a while, or gambles casually annually or occasionaly. The both can never be thesame in any way. If you place bets every day, your brain might get too used to it even if it is just a small amount but betting less frequently but with bigger amounts of money may lead you to be emotionally attached to that money and may feel extremely happy to win and extremely disappointed to lose.
A gambler who gambles occasionally with large fund may lose big at ago and decide not to gamble again since it's not going to be frequent while a person than gamble more often may decide to keep gambling and getting addicted chasing win or loses. We can't just compeard both in which ever ways. So what do you think gets someone more addicted?
Of course we all knows that it's chasing after win or lose and nothing more.

I think a gambler can be addicted in both cases. There are some who do not have the ability to spend a lot of money on gambling, and there are many examples of them being addicted to gambling. Then there are some who spend a lot of money in a short period of time, but they gamble for a long time and then there is a possibility of addiction. I think that those who gamble for a long time and spend a lot of money are less likely to be addicted because they do not gamble regularly and they must have other things to do where they focus. The possibility of such gamblers becoming addicted to gambling is very low.

I will prefer the later because that's easy to overcome since you only gamble once in a blue moon. You coukd be lucky and make profit in that once gambling. I will be let go of the losses and prepare my mind towards the next time I will gamble again. At least, I am safe from addiction which is the main reason why is seen as something evil to the society.

I think both are very likely to make someone feel addicted to gambling. Why is that? Let me explain a little. When someone gambles continuously, even in small amounts, it can create an expectation that the small amount of money they bet can multiply and provide profits. It is a profit that is difficult for them to achieve, but they continue to do so. Meanwhile, even if someone rarely gambles, if they gamble a large amount, especially if they end up losing, this will create a desire to recover what they have lost, which ultimately causes them to take money out of their pockets again to place even bigger bets than before. Ultimately, the losses are never recouped, while they themselves are trapped in a cycle of irresponsible gambling, and may even be trapped in an endless cycle of gambling in order to recover what they have lost in previous gambling or betting sessions.

Which can be more addicting between the two: placing small bets every day or gambling only once or twice a year but doing so with huge amounts of money?
The answer to your question is already answered by you, and without giving it much deeper thought, we can all agree that when you spend frequent time on something, it will get to a time when you will lose control over how much time you need to spend or how much time you spend on that thing; it will get to a stage where it will feel as if your survival is attached to the thing which you are doing, which is a sign of addiction. If you gamble once in a while, it can only make you see the money you spend at once as a large sum, but that can hardly get you addicted.

It’s so easy.. to get addicted to something, you just have to do that particular thing more often .. The “frequent” comes first before the addiction so this should be applicable to gambling as well. If you enjoy placing bets more often then you might just end up getting addicted if you do it without any plans ( even with that it’s hard to cope because it involves money)

So what do you think gets someone more addicted?
I believe you already know the answer to this question. Gambling every single day will likely make the gamble become more addicted to gamble. But those who are gambling with huge amount of money two times a year might not become addicted to gamble because they are not doing it regularly. Although both the rich gamblers and the none rich gamblers can become addicted to gamble.
