Both methods seem unnecessary to me, because betting a small amount or a large amount every day means you are addicted to gambling; it can be called excessive addiction. Even if you gamble a small amount every day, it can gradually increase your amount when you get used to gambling. Gambling is never a good idea to do regularly, as it provides entertainment. We can gamble anytime; there is no specific time frame. I am gambling a maximum of 1-2 days weekly, especially on my weekly off day. Sometimes, due to my busy schedule, I can gamble once a month. I don't have a fixed schedule for gambling every day or on certain days. Gambling big amounts in a year seems ridiculous to me and a big risk.

Actually, it's not like anyone will become addicted by playing every day. The real issue is control. If someone can play with small amounts, knowing their limits then it is often just light entertainment, It is also seen that someone plays occasionally but takes a big risk at once and that's when the problem arises, So in my opinion how you play is more important than how often you play. If you don't follow your limits, play anyway, the end can be bad.

As simple as that, Self-control is the real issue why most gamblers are battling with addiction in gambling, assuming they can be im charge of their emotions and decide to ensure that they avoid anything that will lead them into becoming addicted in gambling such as placing bet with the amount they can afford to lose and be mindful of how they spend their time in gambling, because if they make any wrong move concerned gambling, won't be of a good result but it will lead them into trouble that might even affect their health and their safety including their finances.

Addiction is repetitive gambling not gambling once or twice a year. Those who gamble once or twice in a long time can be categorized under irresponsible gamblers but that Addicted gambler with consistent habit is worse because their accumulative effect over a long time can be more drastic compared to those who barely gamble but gamble huge amount of money. Gambling addiction is the worst experience or thing any gambler can get themselves into at first it might seen controllable and you know what you're doing but as time goes on the quest to chasing your loses start and you end up trapped with that ideology of revenge.

The problem is not with the game, but rather the real problem starts from there. If you do not know how to control your limits, if you keep your activities under control and play no matter how much you play, there will be no problem, but the moment you cross your limits, that is when you start to lose. So the real thing is to know your limits, stay within those limits, maintain self-control and not let those rules be broken under any circumstances, these are the things that must be there. If someone can maintain this discipline, then he can avoid a lot of risks. And if he cannot do that, then gambling can become a threat to his life.

I think you are actually just overlooking how playing just little everyday can really add up to something big if people are not careful.

Don't you know that gambling with a small amount daily can becomes a bad habit,  if you are not actually paying attention to things, you are actually losing money and some days you will be triggered to start chasing losses,  that is how addiction starts. But sure,  if you really know your limits and you do try to cross it, then it can just be a form of entertainment.

But in most cases it is the opposite,  because I have a friend that was gambling everyday with a little amount and he always say I am just passing time,  but right now he can't even stop himself.

You are right, having the understanding that its important to keep the time to how they gamble, which they are to fixed a few days they will gamble as you have said, will also be of help to limit how they gamble and will protect them from the traps of getting addicted and exercising this attitude all the time will save them from problems and other issues that won't be favourable and helpful to their lives. Which will also help them to maintain the responsible gambling.

Gambling addict may arise playing everyday, this make you to bet everyday and as time goes on you may feel uncomfortable if you don't have money to gamble that day. Although, the other as well isn't good enough as if you lose such bet with big money, it may cause some problem

You are correct that the issue of addiction is not about occasional gambling. rather the pattern and frequency. The worst thing is that it is slow to accumulate. A bettor who bets little becoming a habit can end up losing a lot more in the long run than someone who bets a lot less but infrequently. The true trap is the attitude that builds up. particularly in pursuit of losses and that the next victory will put it all right. The cycle has individuals addicted. I believe that constant. repeated gambling is much more addictive since it becomes a habit and it is much more difficult to break a habit than a mistake.

Which can be more addicting between the two: placing small bets every day or gambling only once or twice a year but doing so with huge amounts of money?

If you place bets every day, your brain might get too used to it even if it is just a small amount but betting less frequently but with bigger amounts of money may lead you to be emotionally attached to that money and may feel extremely happy to win and extremely disappointed to lose.

So what do you think gets someone more addicted?
I think the answer is obvious. Of course, twill be placing bets everyday. We know what addiction is right, it prompts someone who is addicted to want to always engage in that activity because of the dopamine release. So the moment you start doing it everyday, that's a sign of addiction already.

You're right on your opinion, and also this are some other factors that has contributed immensely to gambling addiction in recent time, things like chasing of lost and being so desperate to secure life time wealth through gambling. However this are major reason many are in gamble addiction today and it's quite time we understand that and deviate from such mindset the better for us. Gamble was never made to perform magic over night, instead of putting more energy on things that has no concrete assurance, we should focus it on something more profitable and reliable like learning new skills, paying more attention to our business and so on, and also stop the habit of staking aggressively and with this their is every possibilities of escaping addiction.

Betting frequently will easily get you more addicted than you can even imagine because for someone who gambles barely with huge amount, might not have so much time for gambling and even forget to gamble in a whole year but for someone who persistently visit the bookie with little bets and hopes of winning something big someday, then addiction is more closer to sure a person as there is always a tendency to want to bet and gamble at every opportunity try have because they need that winning to keep things going and the mindset addiction first gives to you that you need to continually gamble because you don't know when your big break out victory might come and before you know it, you're already addicted and would do everything even selling personal belongings to be able gamble and at this very stage, one is already addicted which the victim might not even know.

If you bet everyday, even if it’s a small money, it may likely turn into habit, your brain will start seen it as your daily activity or routine . And any day you fail to bet, you will feel incomplete. This constant action result into addiction, because it’s now part of your everyday life.
On the other hand, betting once or twice a year with big money can cause strong emotional reactions like, extreme happiness if you win or it can also cause serious pain if you lose. However, because it doesn’t happen always, it is likely to build consistent habit or addictive patterns.
It’s a given that when we do something on a regular basis for example, something we have to do every day it’s highly likely to become a habit that’s hard to break. This isn’t limited to gambling it can happen in other areas of life as well.
I personally set a limit for myself each month and I don’t force myself to do it more than what I’ve set because I’ve been addicted before and don’t want to go through that again.

as exactly happens when you smoke, the more you smoke the more you become addicted.
if you start thinking about gambling constantly, if you do nothing but carve out time to gamble, those are the first signs of a gambling addiction.

Addiction is not by the particular game we play, if not song would have said that sport bet is what easily cost for addiction or casino games as the results might be, but critically looking into the situation to why gamblers are being addicted, we can discover a lot of factors that contributed such as the gambler himself and is kind of character or behavior towards gambling, level of discipline and so on could affect how we see a gambler play and what may come after such manner he used more often in playing, which later turn addiction we see in them.

Addiction is something that can be compelling for you to do more without your awareness thinking that it's fun for you to gamble or do other irational things that are quite entertaining to the body with bigger consequences.
I think gambling is more addictive to smoking because their are so many ways you can help yourself as a smoker which the smoke is not going to affect you for too long. Gambling addiction has huge consequences but there are people that are still taking it for granted.

Addiction have to do with what you do on daily and regular basis without a break, this is what form addictions over time so in a clear stance a person that gamble regularly have the tendency of becoming addicted to gambling, than someone who just use huge amount of money to gamble once or twice a year, such a person is not a regular gambler but a business man just risking his money.

I think the answer is obvious. Of course, twill be placing bets everyday. We know what addiction is right, it prompts someone who is addicted to want to always engage in that activity because of the dopamine release. So the moment you start doing it everyday, that's a sign of addiction already.
There are people who gamble occasionally, like they can choose a period that they are free and have more money at their disposal and gamble during those periods based on a calculated budget, not like they don't have the self-control to stop when they want to stop, but since it's something they prepare for, are such types of gamblers also regarded as someone who is on their way to addiction? When the person still has self-control over the urge that pushes one to keep on gambling.

In both cases, it will pull you towards addiction, because if you bet a few times a year, it is a huge amount of money, then of course you will be very disappointed if you lose. And if you bet a small amount every day, you will be disappointed if you lose there too. So in the current situation, two reasons are enough to pull you towards gambling, if you gamble according to the rules, then you will definitely be able to stay away from gambling addiction.
Gambling addiction is mainly created to recover lost money and people are driven towards gambling addiction by the greed of getting more money. So if gambling is entered for fun, then that person will be less addicted, so the purpose of gambling should be to have fun, only then can the gambler be saved from addiction.

The more you will get expose with the gambling the more you will crave it for more, people who are addicted in playing have a high number of exposure into playing, compared to a gambler who are making a huge bet in a small time frame they will seek for only like supporting the team they want and at the same time making a bet for a one time only such for a fun only but if you are a continous player even a small bet once you hit consecutive losses you will did not notice that much because its just a small money but afterward you wanted to get back these losses again and make another deposit, or even in wins of course you play a lot of time and you wondered for craving for more.
