I've noticed that very few people truly understand Bitcoin or see what I see in it. I've always wondered why it's so hard for people to grasp the essence of Bitcoin.
Yesterday, I came across a really good video that explains why it's so difficult for people to understand Bitcoin.

No one needs to watch a video to know why people don't understand Bitcoin, I'll tell you why most people don't understand Bitcoin, it's because they don't want to, and they don't care, because all they care about is money and profits, and they don't need to know or understand Bitcoin and its underlying technology and cryptography to earn money from it. All they know is that if you buy Bitcoin when it's low and sell it when it's high, you earn money from that, and that's what the whole world is doing right now. Bitcoin has become more of an investment asset than a decentralized p2p payment method.

It's harsh, but it's the reality. If go out in a city within a country where Bitcoin is widely adopted, bought, traded, invested in, and ask people about why they are interested in Bitcoin, and I can guarantee you that about 90% of the people or maybe even more will say that they are into Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies because they are good investment assets and that they can make quick money from them. Only a few might say that they are interesting in them because of the technology and decentralization, etc.

Please understand that not everyone may agree with someone's idea or opinion. Therefore, if you/we see good things and the potential of Bitcoin, everyone will see the same. In fact, even inside the family, there is always some misunderstanding. How much more when many of us hear negative things about Bitcoin, which are surely stuck in their minds?

It makes them difficult to understand because they don't have trust. People will never spend their time if they don't have an interest. That is why I appreciate those who take risks despite no assurance.

What's hard for someone to understand about Bitcoin? Is it to buy Bitcoin for the long term and store the seed phrase of your crypto wallet in a safe place?

I take it that anyone who says Bitcoin is hard for them doesn't know what they are saying. They lack the basic understanding of Bitcoin, nobody has taught them about it, which is why they feel it is hard to understand.

The part that is always hard for people is learning and been consistent people don't want to take risk and that is why they are finding investing in Bitcoin really hard if not if not that you want to trade the basics is even enough for anyone to be able to hold Bitcoin because when you buy store in wallet and keep your seed phrase safe just the way you said it so it's only when it comes to trading that it's crazy.

The sad truth is that even those of us who understand bitcoin well are using bitcoin as a speculative asset, a tool for get rich quick scheme. Advancement in technologies are never welcomed in the start. People made fun of computers in the start and some even said that there is no requirement of computers for personal use. Banks and Bitcoins are not made for each other as both have there own way of operating. It looks difficult that banks will accept decentralized Bitcoin very soon because there is no need for banks or another middlemen in case of payment through Bitcoin.

It is very difficult for people to understand Bitcoin because the older generation does not want to believe in it, they think that Bitcoin may lose its value at some point. But in fact, we know that Bitcoin will never be like this, but Bitcoin will change more in the future, and the way Bitcoin has changed its value now and improved, it will be even more in the future. I think that in order for Bitcoin to be more easily accessible to people, Bitcoin must be user-friendly. This is not the case, but rather, for people to understand Bitcoin, people must be more focused on Bitcoin and have a little technological knowledge and awareness. Since Bitcoin does not have a soul, it cannot come to the user, of course the user has to go to it, and when the user has to go to Bitcoin, then of course if there is basic knowledge about it, the adaptation of Bitcoin will be easy. If the statistics of those who are technically advanced, meaning those who have knowledge about the Internet and computers, are done, it will be seen that most of them can turn off their PC, listen to music and watch movies on the computer. For one to have understanding of something you need to study that very thing properly, for you to understand bitcoin you need to study about bitcoin .
There are so many ways or medium that one can understand bitcoin, for example you can be attending bitcoin seminars , there are online seminars where somebody can learn about bitcoin, you can go into reading the history of bitcoin and price movement or even watching bitcoin videos .when you do all these things, you will not be a novis about bitcoin investment.

But slowly, when the interest increases again, I read comments about everyone's post and everyone's bitcoin and gradually understand. For this I will always say, if you want to learn something, decide the mind about it and give enough time. And remember nothing is impossible for humans. Bitcoin is very easy to learn I don't see that thing that is very difficult for us to learn about bitcoin, or maybe I think you're talking about the technical aspect of it Which majority will not want to pay attention in that aspect. They use dollars/euros/whatever but if you ask them what actually backs it, where it comes from, or how inflation eats away at it, you’ll get no answer. Now this guy didn’t have no idea what so ever Bitcoin was and questioned on, what sort of currency Bitcoin was and that it was fraud as a currency can’t exist on the web. Why is that?
Well, it’s because Bitcoin violates all principles of money that they are used to. They are used to having a central bank print this paper money and back them for a means of doing business and with Bitcoin, there isn’t anything like that, it’s actually a currency on the web with a consensus of all who use it to back it.

They just wouldn’t understand it because they aren’t ready to make the shift.

Because people cannot see or hold it in real, unlike fiat where they can can touch and hold it so it’s easy for them to visualize it and even create description.
