It is very frustrating to lose crypto wallet and it is tough situation many people face. Yeah I manage to get mine before and I don't encounter any problem as I always write everything on my books then hide it on safe places. Manage to recover some old Bitcoin then exchange it to fiat before.

But it will be so hard on your case especially if you forgot your password also private key since no one could ever help to recover your funds if there are still balance left on your old account.

Also don't trust those wallet recovery services since there are lots of people got scammed on that and they are just fooling people that they can recover those missing funds. I've tried various passwords over the years but no luck.

Did make a lot of wallet but i never put anything, i tried to mine bitcoin with that wallet, but give up few days later, if you have a large amount always keep the password, or make sure that you have list write down it in a secure place, making multiple backups with the password, being careless sometimes stress us, if we follow the simple rule, or steps we have not come to this, but i hope you remember the password sometimes the password that we mostly use are the password, but it depends on the people.

If you still have a transaction history to your Bitcoin wallet address, you might be able to see how much Bitcoin you have. But if you've forgotten everything, there will be no way to recover your wallet, not even to know the amount inside it.

This things can be avoided, I think our negligence and sometimes been lazy cost us a lot of things. If OP had back up his seer phrase that time, he would have access to his wallet today. There is one thread about Blockchain app in this forum someone was complaining about recovery phrase and another user remind him that if blockchain wallet isn't backup, email will be sent to do that continuously, that's how serious even the wallet team are concerned about wallets of their customers.

It's because of this sake back up of a thing many people like centralized exchange where they don't have to back up anything, they get to use it when they like without any hassle but the day that exchange is going to restrict their access, that's the day you see new thread in the forum how one particular exchange lock their wallet and they have been helpless. There was a time Kraken was doing mass wallet lock, I don't know what contribute to that but it wasn't a palatable experience. If you are not trading, you have no business keeping money on the exchange.

I think we share some memories together with Blockchain wallet. I was going through my email notifications I received from blockchain wallet and I saw one time I bought Bitcoin, I was too naive back then. I can't really recall how much I bought this one but I know I don't have money then but was eager to get some until I lose everything to scammers. If only I was oriented properly then, some mistakes could have been avoided, I was doing it because some friends were doing it, didn't want to be left out but weren't me sharing any information, learnt the hard way.



Even after, I was using the wallet until I saw couple of complaints of locked accounts and I never look back. It was later I found out they have an exchange wallet they can flag for doing nothing. That was my first time I began to avoid centralized exchanges with my funds, I don't keep money in there.

It will be a valuable lesson that can shape you to this day and be able to withstand all sorts of problems that may arise.
I also went through it, it is not easy to be able to survive to this point and of course there are a lot of scams and losses that happen,
but not giving up to get more Bitcoin and money from crypto to date.

Centralized exchanges are quite risky and never store everything on a centralized exchange because anything can happen.
And all that security also depends on the user himself, crypto won't provide any guarantees if you're not careful.

This is the reason newbies have to learn cryptocurrency and blockchain wallet to have the knowledge before storing  their coins in the blockchain wallet for long term purpose, through the knowledge, you will know important of password and seeds phrase for you not to forget to write them down and store some in a safe place to always get access to your blockchain wallet,  as long you are the one that download the wallet before writing the seeds phrase and password, you will definitely see them one day to have access to your wallet to know how much is inside your wallet, but as it stand now, nobody will tell you that he or she know exactly amount that is in your wallet,  apart from scammers that will be feeding you will fake information to get some details that will allow them to access your wallet.

Recovering your wallet is not about luck, it’s something you will work on or do knowing it will work out. However asking someone how much was in his wallet is not what you should be asking for, rather how to get your own wallet back, because asking someone such question will make it look like maybe you are trying to know what he have or something similar to such, so why not you just focus on to get your own wallet back.

Furthermore even if you tried thousands of passwords, if it’s not the one you use when opening the wallet it will no work, so I think you should calm and search for your password or where you keep the seed phrase to get access to your wallet.

I think if you are a person like Kevin Durant, the platform itself will be the one to help you out. Because your popularity is going to be leveraged by these platforms as free marketing for helping these people out if they have been stuck with their accounts and didn't recover it anymore. So, being privileged and famous will help you recover it. But if not, it's going to be gone forever and will take you forever to have some chance of recovering it.
