You're right! it's common amongst scammers with this kind of strategy to ask one thing which is that you can't use there applications in any other casino or sportbookie except for the once they provide which makes it more accurate for doubt , if you know how well it's work you would immediately pick it that he or she is making an attempt to scam you or something similar. my opinion is that interest in over night success leads one to all of this and that alone is the root of failure of getting scammed.

I've been added to a group like this, but I don't know who added me. Sometimes I use Telegram to search for a movie I want to watch, and quite often I see gambling ads displayed. Even though the table is a movie group, the content is about gambling, and this is something I've seen regularly. Telegram is quite free, so it's not surprising that someone would use it to commit fraud.

I don't know how possible it is for admins to know the usernames of people on telegram because i also noticed i have been added to multiple groups and channels on telegram without my consent, but after i changed who can add me to groups and channels to nobody, i haven't been added to any group or channel. Go to your telegram settings and click on privacy and security, and when it open, you will see invites. Click on the invites to change who can add your to groups and channels to nobody, and you will have your privacy on telegram.

This shows a high degree of fraudulent and illegal acts and your privacy should matter at this point more especially the ability of you beng added to groups unknowingly. And you can possibly activate who adds you or not to any group you ain't aware of from your settings. I'm always careful with all of this things to make sure I don't fall victims of this hungry scammers and hackers cause this has been their major duty.

Are there still classic scams like this? This unrealistic hack of the Aviator game is clearly a scam to trap victims into being deceived, but I don't know how many people have fallen victim to this scam?

Avoid all kinds of advertisements on Telegram... especially if you are automatically added to the group channel without your knowledge, then it is clearly a scam!!!

Obviously there are some desperate individuals that will fall victim to this scammers because I remember it was also on telegram that I saw a fake group that was selling fake sports prediction to victims too some years back but I think the group was later deleted after being reported. At that time, many people fell victim and that was because they were desperate to win but they ended up being cheated.

I didn't get invited to new groups without my consent, but some scammers lurking in a channel/group that you joined can message you sometimes. It's very easy to tell whether the one sending you a message is a scammer or not, though. Most of the time, they start with a greeting without clear indication of why they're contacting you. I haven't seen one who advertised fake gambling ads, but I won't be surprised if there's a group who actively do that.

Using telegram is not only the thing here, since one has to be responsible for what he or she does with the internet. of course we know no where is safe so personal safety is priority hence you have to hoop into your settings and turn off only contacts can add you to a group or choose a settings that fits your desire so you don't get to be added to groups without your permission that is the first thing that one has to do. You will only even fall for the tricks if you ever wanted or conceived cheating in your heart.

But that doesn’t mean you should believe everything or click on every link you receive. Some promise you a $100,000 win, others miracle cures, or rituals for all occasions. It’s simply necessary to be very careful and attentive, especially when following links to advertising websites. I try not to pay attention to such ads at all and block them as much as possible.

Both getting added to group without ones consent and also getting private messages from unknown people or strangers can be controlled in your telegram account setting area, you and any body else reading can go to their setting tab, select "privacy and security" setting and from here, you can easily change who is allowed and not allowed to add you in a telegram group, you can also change who is allowed and not allowed to private chat you, if you set this two to "nobody", it simply means that no one will ever be able to add you to any group without your consent, and no stranger will ever be able to private chat you without you chatting them first.

So, instead of any body complaining about getting added to groups on telegram without their consent, they can easily utilize this settings to stop the mess from continuing to happen, if they dont apply this setting and yet continue to complain, it simply means that they are enjoying getting contacted by scammer and also getting added to groups without their consent.

I just check now and you’re right that this feature was already not available on regular telegram account.i have this settings in the past including hiding my username to avoid unsolicited invites on random telegram group that usually a scam group.

AFAIK the old settings is still active even of the feature was already removed since until now I’m not experiencing annoying invites despite I gelong on many crypto groups.
