Comparison between military and civilian rule in Nigeria.

Nigeria is a country that was once governed by the military government, and from founding, during the military regime the country was to an extent more coordinated and most people especially those playing cultism were not so hostile because of disciplinary measures by the military government.
Furthermore, so many facilities that is still keeping Nigeria going today were esterblished by the military government, for example the three refineries in Nigeria, port-harcourt, Warri and Kaduna , even Eleme petrochemicals etc were all built during the military era.
Today Nigeria is operating under the democratic government, all the news we hear is about bribery and corruption, embezzlement, no spirit of industrialization and what the democratic government is doing is to sell off all these facilities built by the military government instead of building more.

Democracy is the best form of government,far more than the military.in democratic system of government there are freedom of speech,there are periodic elections where citizens exercise there franchise by voting to their preferred candidate of there choice.When there is an issue, referendum will be carried out to seek the opinion of the citizens on the political issues on ground.but in military regime,there are no room for fear hearing,they work with degree.military government will wake up one morning and make a degree and it becomes effective immediately
There no room to seek the approval of the citizens.There are lot of disadvantages of military government which have been described as the worest form of government across the world.

I don't know what more you're expecting us to contribute to this topic when you've already said everything needed to be said. Every infrastructure, roads , bridges, barracks were all constructed under the military rule so if you're asking which one was better I'd say Nigeria specifically was better under the military rule than what we have today.

Since 1999, the only thing Democracy Government has provided us with is freedom of speech, the right to life, and the right to vote, but this has now been taken away.

I don't know what more you're expecting us to contribute to this topic when you've already said everything needed to be said. I agree with you, civilian rule have added nothing so good in this country because what the politicians do best is bribing and fighting their way to the top in other to extort money from the office.  But in military rule there are many things which people can not do, like markets can not be open if the military rules do not permit it. Many things will stop but i think even though alot if things stops it will be for the good of the country. Why military rules is very discipline basically because they did not fight their way into the office but through their ranks. In civilian rule, bribing and corruption must happen for them to win the election and to be in the office, many of the promises they made to the citizens are forgotten.

It's true that democracy is the best form of government,  but I don't think that applies in the case of Nigeria. You talked about freedom of speech,  right to franchise and many more. It's true that this things you have mentioned are the benefit of democracy,  but the corrupt politicians in Nigeria will not allow the citizens to enjoy this benefit. Talking about franchise,  do you really think l that we the citizens really elected this people, I don't think so anyways, because this politicians rig this elections and put themselves in power even when we don't want them, you might argue that how do u know they rigged the election,  but you and I know the truth.
Let's talk about police brutality, this things are not suppose to happen in a democratic system of government,  but in Nigeria it's the other of the day. If you think you have freedom of speech,  my dear I am telling that you don't have it. You might not be affected,  because they don't really care about what you are talking about, but if they really care, you will not be working freely in the society. I would really prefer a democratic system of government,  but our politicians are not encouraging,  so I don't blame people clamoring for a military rule, because in the military at least we really don't have much of the insecurities we have right now.

They will lie to you that the worst of democracy rule is far better than the best of military rule, it's a fat lie. Good leadership is not about the form of government, its the leader in charge of the government that will determine and not the form of government.  The military rule built all the industries and refineries in Nigeria, they created all the states, the civilian government has not built any industry, none maintain the refineries built y the military government. We must think about it.

Can we say we're in democracy when the common people can't protest or speak against the government anymore, this is not democracy, even in the military government people protested. But in Nigeria today you dare not protest else the government will arrest you. Nigeria has not had it this bad, Tinubu is just a bad leader. The only military head Tinubu is better than is Abacha. 

Both military government and civilian government are people's government, they are rule by the citizens of Nigeria. In civilian government the people are allowed to vote and be voted for, but in military government, there's no election but coup, it's deadly and should not be allowed to rule over people. But the military will always be here, even in civilian government you still need full military support to succeed, that's why I said both are people's government.

There is know reason comparing the military and civilian rule in Nigeria because the gain in civilian rule is just the ability to still public funds without being punished. Practically every public infrastructural investment enjoyed in Nigeria now was esterblished during the military government for example  the six airport, three refineries and many more including roads, as for the so called Democratic government, its just a medium through which the British government and political representatives steal the countries mineral resources and already existing capitals  forcing the poor masses to force labour just to archive there selfish desires.
