USDT TRON address with 30k+ usdt blacklisted of frozen need your help

Hello,
I have a USDT tron address blacklisted with 30k inside and cannot spend them. I believe it is frozen, it does not show on the tronscan, but anything I try to do ends up with cancedled transaction. I stacked trx, increased energy etc.
Someone knows how I can unblock these coins, I am offering a reward for your help.

Stablecoins are centralized assets & issuers can easily freeze our assets. Some examples I'm familiar with are $USDT & $USDC. If your assets are sourced legitimately, Tether or Circle wouldn't freeze them, there must be something that's causing them to freeze it.

You're looking for help on this forum, but unfortunately, no one can unlock it. Regardless of whether you've done something good or bad, you'd better learn from this & move to using only decentralized assets .

Maybe your address is one of the ones referred to in the list in this news. Contact Tether as the publisher or holder of the smart contract administration rights to unlock it, there is no other option.

It's a native coin, there's no external TRX freeze mechanism. You can still do whatever you want with it.

Contact Tether Support and go through with they would have to say (if they will say anything).

I am not even sure if the address is blocked or blackilsted.
It just cannot send the coin.
The address received the 30k in one goal from other address which is neiter blocked or freezed too.
I do not know what is the problem, chagpt is not helping much. When I try to send in tronscan it says reverted.

That is a tokenview explorer dedicated to check whether your address already blacklisted by tether. If your address is there, i'm sorry for your loss, and it seems impossible to recover your money. If you're not seeing your address there, there might be another problem that makes you unable to touching your fund.

Unfortunately, 30K USDT is a large amount, but you cannot send it—is your USDT derived from criminal activity?

I apologize for asking about proof of ownership of your USDT in the form of a screenshot or address, although I myself will not be able to assist you.

Because, as far as I know, USDT can often be frozen if it is derived from criminal activity such as money laundering, etc.

Since you're writing from a novice account with no message history, would you share your blocked wallet address on the Tron network with us?
If not, at least tell us: did the funds freeze at the new address, or was it previously used in addition to receiving this USDT transfer? I hope you didn't find the mnemonic phrase from this wallet somewhere on the Internet?

There's two possibilities here, either you get a fake token with its transfer functionality uprooted because well, it's a fake token or you are really getting blacklisted by tether.

If you happen to get blacklisted by tether mistakenly, you should contact their support and make sure you got necessary records of your transaction. I don't know how long it will take though.

I don't know why y'all keep creating thread asking for help but never come back to give a complete feedback so you can get help from the forum? like someone already ask can you send a proof so we can know what step to go about it in order to profer solution to you.

However,  if you truly got blacklisted by tether you have to contact the customer support and make a complaint properly but then you could be scammed with a flash USDT tether token thinking you have a real coin because I have once seen someone complain about something similar but that was a scam flash, it only tells you you have such an amount but can't be seen anywhere else.

There are many reasons why someone might not comeback & provide follow-up feedback. Topics like this seem suspicious & I assume @OP just comes in, creates a thread & then finds potential victims. I've come across a lot of schemes like this, usually in Telegram. We, as forum users, can only accommodate any requests for help from other users, if the other user who asked for help doesn't provide feedback, we just need to leave it.

Sorry you're dealing with this. Since you've already checked that the token contract is the genuine USDT-TRC20 one (TR7NHqjeKQxGTCi8q8ZY4pL8otSzgjLj6t), the fastest way to turn "I think it's frozen" into a definite answer is to query the contract yourself - you don't have to post your address publicly to do it:

1. Open that USDT contract on Tronscan.
2. Go to the Contract tab -> Read Contract.
3. Call isBlackListed with your address (on some interfaces it's shown as getBlackListStatus).

If it returns true, Tether has blacklisted the address at the contract level. Every transfer will then revert exactly the way you describe, and no amount of staked TRX or extra energy changes that - it's enforced inside the token contract, not by the TRON network. Worth noting this is quite different from BTC, where coins can be flagged by analytics firms but never actually locked on-chain.

If it returns false, the freeze theory is wrong and the answer is in the failed transaction itself. Open the reverted tx on Tronscan and read the failure reason: out of energy, fee limit set too low, or the wallet pointing at a different token contract than you think are the usual causes.

If it does come back blacklisted, be realistic about the outcome: no exchange, recovery service or forum member can undo it. Only Tether can, via their official support process, and they will ask for documentation on the origin of the funds. Since you offered a reward, expect PMs from people promising to "unfreeze" it for an upfront payment - those are all scams, nobody outside Tether has that ability.

For the future, especially on OTC trades: screen the counterparty address before you accept the funds rather than after. So you are ignoring the posts about contacting to tether or cross refencing your wallet address to banned addresses? You don't give the address publicly yet you seem to talk with people dm:ing you?

Let me guess, that wallet doesn't even have trx in it for the gas? Because this sounds suspiciously like an old scamming tactic that was used many years ago, where a scammer "trusts" people enough to give them their private key. So people deposit gas money, but it's being drained automatically before user can move the tokens.

Either that or the tokens are fake tokens by OP, which would explain why he haven't given the address publicly.

Old scams start to rotate, because more new people come along and this is perfect for the people who don't have much cryptos, but are greedy to fall into it.

I am just waiting for HYIP and cloud mining scams to rise up again. Actually i encountered these while back in mobile ads. They offer "crypto mining", but actually have some funds from the ads they are giving to anyone who wants to withdraw. Amounts are just really low and they are likely giving people options to invest to "more powerful" mining with money. And one NFT scam came along as well, but they weren't using the term NFT. Which is understandable because of the bad rep it has now.

The better you verify your USDT contract first, then match it with the real USDT contract on Tron blockchain, which is this TR7NHqjeKQxGTCi8q8ZY4pL8otSzgjLj6t. I suspect your USDT may be a fake USD because there are also so many TRC20 token used same ticker as USDT to fool people to interacted with it.

Unless, you can publicy your addy here, we're not able to helping you a lot because it needs various steps to check the athenticity of your address whether it gets blacklisted or not.

If it realy gets blacklisted, it could be found easily. A year is passing, then you have not yet solved your problem, but it raises my assumption if your USDT may be fake USDT?

If you really checked the contract and it's the real USDT, then maybe your USDT really got banned, but USDT freezing is not unheard of it Tron blockchain, 4.08 billion is currently frozen so far and you can check it yourself using this checker from Blocksec, https://blocksec.com/usdt-freeze-checker.

If your address's USDT got blacklisted then it'll say your address is on Tether's blacklist, if not then maybe you simply don't have enough tron as a gas to process your transaction, or your address is watch-only address. Always these 3 possibilities.

Like OP said, he insists it's not a fake token. He also said he already checked contract.

Sharing wallet address publicly can be quite sensitive, but it may be the only way for us to figure out what's actually going on with OP. It's hard to tell what his problem is when he hasn't really provided us with any specific info we can check.

But thinking about it again, I kinda agree with your suspicion. Maybe it really is fake USDT? Hmm?
