Yes, but the OP seems to prefer the millions that Biden let in without vetting them, which increased violent crime in the US and was the main reason Trump won the election, to letting in a few people with money and vetting them.

Of course it's all about money. If you have enough, you are welcome in any territory of the world, despite being native from country A or B, or having previous coneections with shady schemes and individuals. Trump appointed supreme court justices are young and willing. I don't think they'll care to rule this illegal. America will be feeling the consequences long and wide for a good while even after trump is no longer president or even dead.

The only way I could see this backfiring is if there is extremely intense backlash by society for some reason.
For instance Cyprus recently repealed its golden passport policy after there was a documentary revealing how corrupt the scheme was an how willing its proponents were to take in some of the world's most severe financial criminals to take the cash the scheme called for.

Exactly, this will be there opportunity to use there money and get what they have been wishing since there will no longer be a requirement for them apart from meeting up to this amount of money, definitely the poor wasn't put on this budget because this is not something they can afford, but however what if there will be a case when the government will change hand and the new government decided to abolish this based on how they define it, is it not going to affect those who have already purchased the citizenship? I think this new scheme as well as new system is solely sponsored to affect the rich mostly from what was said and it could be a strategy the president Trump is using to generate more revenue for its country and thus it's not leveraging to the common man and i don't necessarily understand the strategy he's using to achieve this and his aim in regards to this golden vids scheme.

This kind of golden visa is known to be abused by criminal networks. Trump claims he is fighting drug trafficking. But this scheme will be one of the easiest means for these criminals to gain US citizenship and build their networks in the country.

This is basic american. Capitalist. He is a capitalist. He is using whatever he can to make money. I am just wondering how ethical this is. Is USA now only for the rich? What if you are just in middle class, you won't have the same benefits as the millionaires. And this just highlights more the disparity between the rich and the poor in the US. This won't affect illegal immigration. A person who has over $1 million won't go into the US illegally, except that they may make their money illegally. Theres no point making things like this political. Illegal immigrants have been going to the US long before Biden became president. They were even going to the US in Trumps first tenure, so no point making it seem like they just started under Biden's.

When we build a society where money is the only deciding factor, we build a broken society. I know because I've lived in one and I've seen how horrible life can be when money is the only god. If a person has achieved more and will be more valuable to the society but cant afford a million dollars for a Visa he will be denied for someone who offers nothing but can afford it? this is the grand plan for filtering who can be given residency visa?

Employers are expected to contribute $2500 per annum to the trump account of their employees, that is their young kids, and the parents can also add $5000 each year, which would amount to about $303,800 for a baby born in 2026 when the child gets to 18.

So, If you look closely, they should be more than 74 million American kids under 18 years and this number surpasses the number of billionaires and millionaires in the USA, who are his main target at achieving this goal. Basically, I presume the Trump card is also a way to add up the number of millionaires in America, who for more reasonable purposes wants to bypass the tarrifs.

The USA is no longer a "promised land", that provides endless opportunities for the poor and the oppressed. I've never lived in the USA, but I think that the "American dream" is finally dead and life in America sucks(and things are about to get worse). Obviously Trump wants to convince more rich people around the world to come to America and invest their money in the US economy, but I highly doubt that the USA is still being viewed as a "Paradise". The world is full with "tax heaven" offshore jurisdictions. If I was a very wealthy guy, I would prefer a "tax heaven" island over the USA.
