1st of October 2025, will record Naija 65th independence.
So many citizens, indeed has not witnessed the freedom in our country till today they have rather being forever lived in bondage in the hands of our leaders.
There are sometimes we ask if and what exactly do we gain independence. Lots of memories where involved, the story line was told, how the state of this region has been overshadowed by things we can't imagine.
 
Indeed Naija gain her Independence. A moment we need to celebrate our country for her 65 years of freedom.
In advance we have already start witnessing the thought and feelings of her independence.

Very funny a country  is marking it 65 years by October first yet nothing to write home about. I don't see any reason to celebrate Nigeria independent day anymore, because as years passes by Nigeria is getting worst instead of getting things fixed. Just imagine it is only in Nigeria that bandits are being given special treatments after they have killed hundreds of her citizens, funny right ? And Many more things are going on in this country Nigeria, but I rest my case I won't say anything again, but all I can say right now is that Nigeria is dying and the earlier will understand that the better for us.

I was reading about tax reform and it seems crypto investors are not left out this time around despite the hardship we are facing everyday in this country. The government is making massive amount of money from this tax but we are not seeing where the money is going. What is happening in this country need evaluation and more visualization of things.

What exactly has this government done for us ever since they came into this office, there is literally nothing. I have not benefit anything from this government.

E no easy , Nigerians go celebrate 65th years of independence in October first 2025, and plenty things to remember de oo, our past heroes , events and leaders wey don help Nigeria get dis independent.
Nigeria na country wey God don bless with plenty things to carry make our lives beta, our land de do well for agriculture, for oil production God blessed us , infact Nigeria de like land of Canaan wey God carry the Israelites carry go make dem for no suffer.

On the First of October 2025 , the independence wey we Nigerians won celebrate na for de achievement wey Nigerians don make today abi na for wetin, people de find how dem go carry chop food and I sure se plenty people no get wetin dem go celebrate dis time because na achievement de make person celebrate, no bi suffer

The rate at which Nigerian celebrates her independent now has drop last year i saw no body putting on this their GREEN WHITE GREEN outfits this year own will be worse Nigerian are tired the country is getting bad day by day people hardly feed again, October 1st doesn't worth celebrating i hope Nigeria will get it right comes 2027 we need a good leadership to celebrate her independent with joy and happiness.

We are about marking the 65th independence of Nigeria but yet it looks as though the country is moving backwards instead of moving forward, people have lost hopes in the government, the arms of government which are the executives, the legislatures and the judiciary. Corruption and bribery have beclouded the government, and incompetent individuals are holding public offices whereas those who are intelligent and have the capacity are being neglected. Life keeps getting tough for the common Nigerian citizen, everyday people are thinking about moving out of the country to find a better life. When will this country come back to those good old days when things were cheap and the cost of living wasn't so harsh on the citizens. When will the youths rise up against bad governance, everyone is minding their business forgetting that we have upcoming generation. If things can be this hard for us how much more will it be to the incoming generation. Anyways, on the day of the independence I will still wish the country well and pray things get better.

This is just the main issues we have in Nigeria. The government has made us (the citizens) to understand that they can not be trusted. Infact, something tells me that this tax of a thing will be the reason for major crisis in Nigeria if the government fails to use them for infrastructure in the future. Because I'm not sure people will still continue to be paying taxes when they are not seeing any reasonable things that the government are doing with the tax money.
One reason why the most of the rich men are not saying anything yet in Nigeria is because they they do not have anything to do that is related to the government. But trust me, if they begin to pay tax they will start acting because their own tax is not small money. Imagine someone making 50 billion naira per, calculate the tax and tell me they will not be paranoid when the government is not doing anything good with it.
But anyway sha, happy independence to Nigeria in advance. We look forward to seeing our country great in the future.

Regardless of the shenanigans of our leader's, Nigerians on a daily basis are hustling and bustling trying to make ends meet for themselves. If not for anything, Nigerians need to be celebrated. The celebration on of the Independence should be on the side of the citizens as they've been liberated and striving privately to survive with little or even no help from the government. Am celebrating the ordinary Nigerian on the streets, because if you really want to critically look at the situation, there is really nothing to celebrate about.

Nigeria is marking her independence with nothing to write about. We are still dependent on foreign loans to pay salaries and execute projects when we are blessed with abundance of crude oil and gas. Why borrowing loans from foreign countries when billions of dollars is been made from sales of crude oil and gas. A country that prohibit negotiations with terrorists are now taking selfies with bandits that are menace to the society. Nigeria Independence celebration will have meaning when corruption and poverty have been eradicated, killers herdsmen/bandits that are responsible for the death of hundreds of soldiers & Civilians faces death penalty.

What actually are we celebrating? when we are not actually independent, Nigeria gained independent in 1960. Till date we are still lacking behind, no good roads, no good drinking water, poor health care, no constant electricity, no good schools, poor infrastructures, nothing is actually working in this country after 65 years. Nigeria is still depending on foreign aids and loan to run the country, its so shameful.
 We are only politically independent, we run our elections  and rule over selves.That is all we have achieved since 1960, nothing else, zero development, we still rely solely on foreign countries for everything we eat, wear and use in this country, so where is the independence?

What is there to celebrate about this country,  I don't think there is any, so I am not surprised that people don't care about or celebrate our independence anymore. I don't even remember it anymore,  I see it like every other day, it's not special to me.
Nigeria is getting worse as the year go by, the hardship keeps increasing on the citizens, the masses are not happy, because they are just existing,  the government does not café about the people, so there is nothing to celebrate.
Talking about getting it right in 2027, I am sorry to disappoint you, it will not happen because the citizens have not learnt.
