Have you ever tried looking into your horoscope or had done a tarot reading on you that affected your gambling habits? I know that we often just take these superstitious words and try to mold them into our own situations making it look like they actually predicted our future but sometimes people take these as signs. I wonder if you had ever gambled because of what you saw from your horoscope or something similar? How did it end?

Gambling is beyond superstitious believes and most of us already know that and have to face Gambling the way it is in reality which is a game of chances, and lucks, so what the role that your Horoscope plays in determining what chances and luck brings your way.

This thread reminds me of one of my lecturer way back in the university, he always ask this type of questions, most time we have written exams in them and one one of his popular question is.

I do believe in some superstitious beliefs, but never with tarot cards, horoscopes, or anything about stars.  

When I was young, I did read horoscopes, but it never occurred to me to ever believe those things. They are predictions of people, too, and they never really came from a super being that has the power to read the future.
For me, those kinds of things are just for entertainment too. Most of what it tells is good things, and when someone is gambling for a long time, they tend to become pessimistic. Why? Simply because the losing chance is higher than it is with winning.

I have paid for one before.

I was told not to gamble on a certain day that it will be a bad day for me. I gambled that day but all my bets were lost. It was very strange.

But before that time, I may have good days, but I still lose money in gambling than winning.

I prefer not to take it as a means to gamble. I did only one and I stopped it.

Tarot reading is more than gambling but gambling can be included.

I don't look at the horoscope and am not a fan of it, while I don't think there's accuracy even in using one, because I don't think those that have been using it to gamble have anything different to show, all these may only try to give a kind of superstitious believe or mentality that what is being predicted by the horoscope could actually be the right mind if what gambling may give us.

If I'm not mistaken this is astrology right? I think it has nothing to do with gambling. There's nothing about this that tells a category of people are more likely to be gamblers. Your gambling habits is a reflection of low level of discipline and nothing else. I feel like people that connect horoscope and their gambling habits are trying to put the blame on something and make excuses for their carelessness

Horoscopes have been proven false, IIRC, from a video of people researching supernatural things. It should still be on YouTube, along with the cold reading thing.
Tarot, however, has elements of randomness (similar to gambling), maybe because of the cards lol.
I also found tarot pretty interesting, especially if you do it by yourself and not trust some random Gypsies to do it. But still, I haven't had time to learn tarot reading... hopefully in the next couple of years.

Anyway, all of the above is for fun only, so you can't expect accuracy, just something to make your gambling more fun and interesting. My experience with superstitious things has also never gone right since it's all random.

This still drives towards a certain topic that we've discussed already, which is superstitions. I didn't even know about horoscopes and tarots as a thing of the 7th century BCE, but now you made me dig deep on a research to know more about it. It's good that we've evolved so well and superstitions remains the thing of the past, so don't try to bring it back

Could this be psychology in play? like because you were told not to gamble on that day because you will loose and then you were already expecting a loss so it happened in real life. Sometimes your emotions and thoughts can actually affect the outcome of things and I think this is what happened here.

On the days that you were told to gamble, that it was okay for you to gamble, did you you win? I find it hard believing and trusting horoscopes and tarot readings.

Many people truly believe these things can influence the outcome of something or even for bets. though, the random system never cares about these mystical symbols. So even many people try to look for signs to get their luck, the end result remains completely random and unpredictable

Never tried it even once, for gambling, I'm usually more mathematical so I don't believe in things like horoscopes & tarot. The depictions given from horoscopes & tarot are suggestions, they are good as positive affirmations that can be the basis for us to live our days, weeks & months. I just feel it doesn't fit & has nothing to do with gambling bros @kotajikikox.

Of course the words "horoscope" I often find in magazines or books about astrology where the main aspects of horoscopes are related to predictions include subjects For example the sun, planets and so on or often also associated with (zodiac) birth or interpretation.

But if you talk about horoscopes, gambling or tahalul, maybe it can be associated with predictions, predictions about personality in carrying out gambling activities, we understand that gambling is often associated with things that are tahalul, Like lottery gambling, sports betting and so on, but if inside of course horoscopes and gambling have something to do with the luck of someone in gambling or insight, especially in terms of betting and gambling.

Some have believed that the use of horoscope could bring the desiring luck they needed in gambling, whereas the use of horoscope have been implemented by psychist in making people feels as if they are more accurate by their assumptions as they predict for others, I don't see this as a good reason enough to gamble, except we get an idea from them anyway, which some could be more of a suggestion and not a confirmation for us about what to do.

I have never and will never use horoscopes or tarot as a reason to gamble, because to me, such things are just superstition. How can you believe something that has no logical basis or real evidence to support your decision to gamble? It doesn't make sense.
I only gamble because I want to and have allocated funds for it. I wouldn't gamble just because someone told me I had great luck, based on their vision or the cards they held. That's just superstition and has nothing to do with the unpredictable outcome of gambling.

If anyone here were to compare several daily zodiac sign forecasts, they would see that they are all different. Some horoscopes are published based on the mood of the author, a so-called guru posing as an expert. Those who are skeptical and understand that all horoscopes are merely a figment of the "creator's" imagination do not believe such forecasts. But some look for coincidences in literally small details and regularly listen to astrological forecasts. I won't criticize: let people do what they want, but as for me, I am my own prophet and listen to my intuition, not paying attention to other signs. As for the feeling of needing to gamble, I stick to the position when my wallet is full and I can spend a little money.

No, I haven't but I do not judge people who have. If I ever have to do this, it will be on how to improve myself and make my life better. Gambling cannot make one rich, it should be done for the entertainment purposes. For those who believe in these, you will be under utilizing it if, you are asking about your chances of winning when you should be asking of how to be the best in your career and become rich.

Looking into your horoscope to know if you are going to win in gambling is actually a waste of time because gambling is a game of luck and anyone can get lucky...I don't think there's anything wrong in doing this though but personally I think that is absolutely pointless...the use of horoscope doesn't change that outcome of gambling ...The problem with people is that they take gambling too seriously

For the benefits of those that likes being informed or notified about gambling gambling tips and suggestions, I will rather recommend the use of prediction site for this purpose, because I don't think most gamblers often use horoscope when it comes to gambling discussions and information, maybe they would have even preferred more the use of AI than horoscope, because gone are the days they consider horoscope.

Horoscopes and tarot readings will not help you win in gambling, but they can set a good mindset for how you will proceed in gambling, like if your horoscope says that the color green is a good color for you in any venture, it may not help you win in gambling, but at least you will feel good that you are wearing something that could attract luck, but you should not have an expectation that will eventually lead to gambling because no tarot or horoscope readers will tell you that will in gambling in a given day.

These horoscopes should not be treated as a tool to help you win in gambling; they sometimes help you get a winning run, but it's never an established fact and can be considered a coincidence.

I would never waste a single second on this activity unless (bad bitbollo, bad guy ) the reader would deserve an invite for a dinner out.
Joking aside, gambling could be seen as pure fun (so by absurd even tarots have their parts) or could be seen as a way to earn few bucks.
I don't think there are anything magic that could help.
