Have you ever tried looking into your horoscope or had done a tarot reading on you that affected your gambling habits? I know that we often just take these superstitious words and try to mold them into our own situations making it look like they actually predicted our future but sometimes people take these as signs. I wonder if you had ever gambled because of what you saw from your horoscope or something similar? How did it end?

Seeing horoscopes and following horoscopes to predict the future is a complete superstition. Those who believe in superstitions and those who are illiterate may believe in such superstitions and plan their future based on superstitions. I have not tried to hear my horoscope from anyone so far because I never believe in horoscopes or superstitions. I only believe in my creator and whatever will happen in the future, whatever will happen in the present, I believe in the creator and move forward. Many times it is seen that many people come and tell a person about the results of their horoscopes, some believe it and some do not, but I have seen that those who believe in them are not very knowledgeable.

I've never gambled, so I've never used horoscopes or tarot for this kind of decision. But I find it interesting how some people actually take it seriously and follow the signs. But does this really help, or is it just a way to build more confidence when betting?

I like the stories behind zodiac signs and tarot cards, but I wouldn't say I believe in them. Even if I don't believe in them, I do like them sometimes, and when a good storyteller tells them, it makes me even more curious. Even if I don't fully believe in them, sometimes there are times when some of my thoughts intersect, I guess I can't call it a belief. Still, I don't think this tarot will help me win at gambling.

When you are the right place at the right time, you get lucky to win in gambling, if things dong go out your way, the only thing to do is to accept the loss while expecting better luck next time. This is what I believe, so yeah we need to respect what others believe are the main reason for the outcome they do have in gambling. In the past, I've tried playing games based on my horoscope. They even recommend numbers based on your horoscope on lottamatica.it, or even based on your dreams. But I've always had negative results. I've never, ever, gotten anything right with those things.
I've never consulted fortune tellers or tarot cards. They seem like charlatans to me. I don't know, and I don't trust them at all.
I prefer to be guided by my instincts.

Dreams horoscopes or random mentions of numbers have always played a role in gambling culture because people like to connect meaning to chance when a grandparent dreams of a number or someone overhears a strange phrase it feels like a “sign” and if that number actually hits even once it reinforces the belief even though it’s just coincidence. No, I didn't do it before, nor I am willing to do it. These things are not related to gambling, I mean, they can't change the results. If these cards really worked, then people would not be looking for knowledge and analyzing the stats, they would just look into the horoscope, and they would find that this betting will either result in profits or losses, and they would choose according to it.

This kind of belief only boost the mind, not changes the results. The odds will remain the same at the end. If the results are matchable, then we can call it coincidence, but not cosmic guidance. If possible, come out of these thoughts and live in reality.

Yeah, looks like the culture there is also the same here in ours. But it's just different about someone who's ill mentally. People here won't believe any number they will say. Instead, they'll have that belief that guy probably is a genius before and because of his huge mental capacity, that's why they've ended up like that. It's always the same story that we're having but with all of these superstitious beliefs that we're having, sometimes we find it crazy to believe whichever people are looking for just to justify the numbers that they're hearing from them.

In my case, I definitely don't believe in these things, and I wouldn't put that into sports betting. Even after analyzing all the data, even when the probability of winning is @1.10, the person can still lose the bet. So, if even in this situation it's possible and very common to lose a bet, imagine believing in superstition to predict the outcome of a game? That would be a huge disaster.

I definitely wouldn't waste my time looking at horoscopes, much less tarot, to predict the outcome of a game. I don't judge people who trust and believe in this, but I advise them not to delude themselves with it. I used to, but I stopped doing this. I don't find it fun; you're relying on something outside of you for your betting experience. I prefer to be spontaneous, betting on what's to come, and expecting the unexpected; it's what gambling entertainment is all about.
It will be disappointing if you just come to gamble with high expectations because your horoscope tells you it's your lucky day to bet, only to end up losing a huge amount of money. It's better to have no expectations at all and let things unfold.

I don't believe in horoscopes and I will never believe in tarot card readings, so I am never affected by such things. However, I have seen people who strongly believe in it and only gamble when they receive good predictions, and so on. But I don't know if the results align with the predictions, though I doubt it. Because it is only a prediction that has a higher chance of being wrong, and if it is right, it is just a coincidence.

I have never read anything like this to influence my gambling, especially since I mostly gamble on slot machines, which are purely about luck. However, quite a few people in my circle enjoy other types of gambling, one of which is commonly referred to as togel. What surprises me is that some of them incorporate superstition into this form of gambling. Last night, I heard them visiting an abandoned, haunted house to seek guidance on the numbers that will come up. When I heard this, I was amazed and thought it was quite ridiculous. This is commonly done by older people who enjoy togel gambling.

Yes, as gamblers is one of the most superstitious person in the world. Every sign that they can see around the surrounding must be something to be interpreted as a bad or good sign. I don't go and have someone read my future based on tarot, but what I do in the past is like wearing a supposedly lucky shirt during my early days of gambling. And sometimes it's a click to me.

Don't get me wrong, maybe again I can from the background that we believed in some kind of "divine intervention". Or it is just that gamblers will always find a reason or excuse whenever they gamble. As for me, as long as I'm not going to be hurt by believing on superstitions then that is fine with me. And I also respect those gamblers who are not that superstitious. Everyone is very different.

True! When someone needs tarot or astronomy to place a bet ...you know for sure that guy is in deep trouble , maybe some debts or something because that is indeed an act of despair .

You are trying to beat luck with random answered based on luck again ...so that is enough for me to stay away for such random things and if I want to read the sky or something , I will do it without asking the stars who is going to win Champions League or similar

For me, this kind of magical thinking is also hard to understand, but I have close friends  who believe in tarot cards and astrology. I personally tried this sort of “guidance from the universe” myself, and I can say that in some way it does resonate, because when you listen, certain information really matches, but some of it doesn’t. So, there’s no point in taking it seriously, since with the same success you could just make guesses yourself, sometimes you’ll be right, sometimes not. This approach is simply shifting responsibility for your own actions onto some external forces.
