Let me begin with it first, in my country, people who are less fortunate are greatly helped by the gambling industry, especially those bereaved families who do not have money for their loved one's funeral and burial.  The community organized a gambling event during the wake, and any proceeds will go to the family.

As long as people play to have fun, gambling will have a positive effect in their lives. I do that and I indeed feel happier. I was anxious, frustrated and angry when I was chasing my losses but I noticed the trap and stopped doing it as it serves no purpose. Life is gotta be fun why make it hard? Absolutely true. Excessive amounts of anything are bad, even in food, overeating can lead to vomiting. Likewise excessive makeup can make you look garish and unsightly. Anything that's excessive can lead to bad outcomes, even happiness can lead to sadness, and excessive expectations can lead to profound disappointment.

This is especially true in the world of gambling which is full of risks as we must be able to control everything. Furthermore excessive wishful thinking is a major factor in excessive gambling. If I had to choose at least one from the list, I’d go with that. Because honestly, gambling helped me improve my intelligence in a way.
