We have benefited from our investments in Bitcoin, and while we are privileged, there are others who have little hope and no excitement for the festive season. This is a give-back outreach for the less privileged this December to share love and give hope to those in need.

The target is to visit at least three orphanage homes and distribute food items that we will put together from the proceeds of our donations.

This is a good initiative you have started. But I think there are some areas you have to elaborate further. It is good to give charity but what identity would you use to deliver the charity or is it a personal charity seeking for support from well meaning members? What will be your yardstick? As you said 3 orphanage homes, do you also imply one orphanage home per geographical location?

Will you deliver it with which name? I believe that even though we're family here, this is not a committee of friends. These are some view points I believe you have to elaborate and clarify to members. It is good to think charity, but regarding the nature of our duty here, I don't know how you plan to code name and deliver the gift in the outside world.

This is a nice initiative, OP. December is a month of celebration, and coming up with this project would help put a smile on the faces of the orphans. They would have a reason to celebrate, and that would also give them a sense of belonging in society. However, I may join you in this task in commemoration of my birthday coming this December.

This is a great plan to bring smiles to the faces of orphans. I really like to see someone doing charity work, because people are for people. I'm overwhelmed seeing this particular thread being initiated for those less privilege, i really appreciate the OP to have come with this great ideas of visiting at least three less privilege during December festival celebration, it is very nice that you created thread early because we are going to use enough time in gathering and contributing to support this particular thread in one way or the others, because definitely December is a celebration period which so many events will surely be going on, so the earlier we attcle this particular one that have shown its date of visiting which kept aside on 13th December, so our support is highly needed here.

The outreach will be under the name of the community "bitcointalk Nigeria". I am vested in charity and have always been someone to give back in my capacity to those in need, but this will not be done in my name alone, but the name of this forum.

It is my intention for it to be big and meaningful and keep this charity event running from time to time, hence my reason for wanting to involve this community.

I am currently in the south-south region of the country (Port Harcourt), so it is my intention to visit orphange homes here, but perhaps if there are volunteers from this group from other regions in the country, I am very willing to share a percentage of the contributions to them so they can hold this outreach in their region as well, visiting at least one orphanage home.

There is a blessing in giving, and I want everyone to have an opportunity to be a part of it.

It's always good to give back to society. The harsh economic conditions are affecting these orphanages negatively because people don't have enough to give. I heard from one professional beggar in my area that people no longer give alms like before due to the poor economy. These less privileged children need our help and we also need their prayers. This initiative is a good one and I hope it will achieve its aim.

Wow this about the most exciting projects so far on this forum who would have thought that one can think of people outside the forum, I must say that this act of selflessness is one of its kind hence projects like this does not need delay to be invested in and I must say I will do my best in the little way I can to participate just to show my support and how much I care about this people who do not really get all the love that they might be getting on a daily basis.

An exchange might be more convenient for something like this so I'd suggest you pull up one. ERC20 is a network with overly high fees and it's one reason most people use the BEP20 network or TRX network. Regardless you need a way to receive those funds whilst minimizing costs and I think an exchange may be a fit.

Else you would have to have coins on the anchor network of every single network you receive from to be able to respend those coins and trust me it's a big hassle for something like this.

Other networks are not expensive at all, it will be better for him to use self custody wallet instead than to trust an exchange. It is better he use exchange only when he is about to exchange the money to naira because exchanges can be hacked.

Many networks are not necessary and the three common ones can just be used which are TRC20, ERC20 and BSC network. No need to add other ones because everyone are using these three.
