There are some regulations in my country specifically meant for slot machines, some the slots are restricted directly by the slot machine companies (not casinos) as it's they are technically not the provider of the slot machine, but more like a gateway to use them as they aren't even run by casino servers.

At least in your case there's no ISP block. It's just the casino blocking some games(this is what I can understand out of your story).

The reason is obvious: the slot provider doesn't operate within that region, and that's why you are not allowed to play their games. It's already said by other members, but their licensing and regulatory restrictions cause this mostly and it's not something from the casino you are playing at. I have faced this at a lot of casinos and with multiple game providers. At first, I thought maybe it's because of the casino and their license, but later I realized that it's not because of the casino, but it's an error coming straight from the game provider.

There is basically no solution to this problem unless the game provider does something to allow your region to have access to their games. It's a loss for the game providers because just like you, so many players get restricted from playing their games and they lose a good amount in revenue, but they surely earn enough that they barely care about this amount, I assume.

I had this happen to me just recently… been playing a lot in one casino, then I noticed the same game but with different versions, prob from the same provider too. One version I can play no problem, the other one keeps saying “not available in your region/country” (if I remember right).

Possible reason is your country must have been blacklisted for such games or your country in due course also must  have issued restrictions to registered casino not allow it's country users to play a particular game, maybe it's not the culture of that country hence they are not always allowed in some casinos. why in some they are allowed but errors might keep interrupting till you give up.

This is not the case of the casino restricting the person from betting on a particular game. A casino gaining a license from a country is different from the game provider, which offers their service to the casino, as they also have different licenses and regulations to follow. Since the OP is allowed to place bets on other games, I assume it's a problem with the provider.

You're probably correct enough yet because I do not have a direct information from providers confirm this piece of information but personally, I wouldn't agree on that it's just the provider since the provider is a third party and is being supervised by the casino on the games and how it performs before officially putting them on so if this is a popular case there it's probably not the provider but something that has to do with both the casino and the provider.

I don't know about the packages you mentioned and how many categories are available to choose from, but if there are any then the best choice would be the package with the least limitations. The slot provider its self may not allow players from your region even if the site you're playing on does. I usually get that error from No limit when playing on stake.us and have to verify my region. I just don't play those slots so i'm not wasting an hour trying to get it to work.

And with wasting that hour I assume you mean trying a VPN, but that would put a lot at risk depending on which casino you are using.

There is one thing though I never understood. I had these restrictions problems on some websites, while not on others for the same slot. I thought at first that it could be the slot provider itself, but how then is it possible to not face that restriction when playing in another casino? It may not be ilegal, but some countries still require a special license for casinos to work there. For example in Brazil online gambling is not ilegal, but you need to have a official license and registration with the government, paying a big fee around millions, otherwise they will block your website nationwide.

The provider is doing the best to not get sued or chased by certain governments which require too much work before letting the games be available to the nationals.

There are couples of reasons why some game providers do the restrictions thing to certain countries or region even when they're a gambling country. Some of the restrictions ain't actually due to the game provider decision but due to the limited capacity of their infrastructure in development of the game. It's also a market strategy too that game providers employ against areas they feel they might not have big market in those areas.

I believe the restriction is enforce because of legal reason mostly and the second reason is the game provider decision.

Any casino that doesn't allow you to sign up or play them in your country means that it's license coverage does not cover or allow your region to participate. I have come across most casino in this forum that didn't allow me to sign up, they also show me this error message that casino does not support people from my region. Sometimes I forcefully register it using VPN but however I know that doing it is Very risky and I may be affected in the future if big win occurs, because they may require me to post my KYC documents and I may not be able to post because my KYC documents does not cover the region I register with under the VPN I used. Some providers are really restricting their players. So you should look into the prohibited or restricted countries per provider. It is better to confirm such restriction rather than regret later on, especially if you have some winnings to withdraw using that provider. That is, if they haven't restricted you in the first place. And you just found out when you are about to withdraw your winnings.
This is why, it is always advisable to check the restriction of every game stated on their terms and conditions. I believe it could also be due to regulatory issues with the provider itself. Does this block only apply to a specific game, or do all of that provider's games not work in your region? I haven't experienced this yet. I've never had any issues accessing games, but I have with some casinos, as they aren't authorized to operate in my country. I think this happen not because restrictions imposed by the laws of your country where you live, but because some of game providers must comply with certain licensing rules to operate in certain countries... this can range from pay certain fees to being banned from offering certain types of games due to some bureaucratic red tape we'll never understand.

Sometimes, I thing its could simply be the lack of commercial agreements, or meaning the casino "purchased" a certain slot to be available only in countries A or B and not in C or D because the bets are lower there and they have to pay more for each country, which ends up becoming financially nonviable.

Anyway... I think its a combination of factors, but there are an easy way to find out the real reason... that involves asking the casino's own support team, they are probably the only ones who can give you an answer.

I believe it's about the games' own licenses. But it could also be a matter of target audience: a certain region doesn't have as many bettors using it, or that region has different betting laws that the provider doesn't want to be subject to, among other issues.
