There was a time when life was so difficult for me and things were not working as planned, when I try something new it ends up turning against me, my relationship didn't work I fit so lonely and disappointed at my self and then I decided to take my own life because even some of my family members and friends saw me as a good for nothing.
The day I wanted to get poison was the same day I had interaction with a man who started telling me how life could be unfair and also fair and I was moved to tell him all I have been going through and he told me this face and time in my life will pass and I will be okay.
He said no problem or situation is permanent in the life of a person and that was how I lift anything concerning suicide.

I was moved to tell this part of my story I don't know who's going through hard times now just know that it won't last forever you will come out of it.

In life there are times you will face difficulties and when it comes don't panic and don't give up, because you will definitely scale through those difficulties. Presently am seriously ill and my illness is really taking alot of money from me, currently am in depts just to pay for my medical bills, because am going through financial challenges because of my illness, but am not allowing my illness and my current financial situation to border me, because I know I will scale through them just with time. So what are my trying to say difficulties will definitely come and it will go just with time so don't panic and don't give up.

Well I would say like this.

It's not our situation are permanent, but either we achieve or fail at something, the ending of our life will be same, death.

Let's say someone achieve what they want, once they achieve it, they will be happy for few days or weeks, then they will try create a new goal and try to achieve it. Which mean it won't end.

On the other hand, people who not able to achieve something will feel guilty, sad or bad, but they need to realize if like is like that, consistent all the time whether you're failed or successful.

In as much is life is concerned, no condition is permanent except for some who where unfortunate not to be lucky but died from it while hoping for change. But the thing is that we don't need to give up because the only thing in life that is constant is changes, if we work hard and pray believe in God one day his will must come into accomplishment. I have had same experience long time ago when life was difficult, to the extent I thinked about everything that could possibly be the problem but all to no avail but I just keep on pushing and hoping for the best, but today I am also a living testimony of it. But the reality is that no matter how people try to be patient, it doesn't mean that everyone will make it, some will not make it despite the hardwork, patient and hope. This is often a twisted faith but however hardwork and patience is necessary to keep everyone alive.

No matter how bad my situation is I will never think of suicide because it is not an option, personally I say that dying a poor is a sin and giving up on life is a sin too and I will do whatever it takes legally to be comfortable in life. I have had my own worst situations in life and that is what shapes us and keep us motivated to keep pushing towards a better life, I wasn't born with a silver spoon but I will make sure that my kids are born with silver spoons and they will never go through what I have gone through in life. No bad condition is permanent if we work hard to change it because no one is going to help you out of it.

Not everyone comes to the internet to share their story, but you will be surprise to hear that there are so many people going through a certain phase of life where they actually think that they are cursed. It is a phase where they see life as unfair. It only takes a strong mind and believe to get out of such a situation, because so many couldn't make it out. You were lucky to share your problems with someone. Just imagine others that couldn't probably because they feel that no one would listen or care.

Every man has its phase, and phases are different. Only those that can manage to the end and find a way out can live to tell the story.

Life is not a bed of roses; we are made to suffer and experience hardships, even if we almost have everything, because our experiences are what make us strong human beings.
Each and every one of us has different ways to cope with stress, and we have to learn to open up to people, so it will ease what we're feeling, even people who we believe look strong suffer from bad situations and depression.
We are not immune to pain, but we have ways to combat pain, and one of these is having a good relationship with God and the people we love.

Good thing that guy come up to you and say that everything will past, the problems, the hardships, the struggles. They will eventually going to pass and end but we shouldn't decide if we have to end ourselves. That's a different thing to say because we are deciding and working for our future and yet, we can end it in a split seconds. Whatever we're experiencing right now, storms, surges, things are going to calm down and that's what we have to think of. We have to be stronger not just for ourselves but for the people we love and for the people that will love us.

Your story is very touching and inspiring for people that are going through what you went through, they should know that tough times don't last but tough people do. We need to be sensitive about what our friends and loved ones are going through, sometimes what they need are words of encouragement that things will get better.

I don't think that problems will ever seize in this life, no matter your financial position either rich or poor somehow we face one chalanges or another. Many poor people thinks that if you have money all your problems are solved but that is a lie, the rich might not have financial problems but they also have chalanges. It could be in marriage, health, toxic relationships or being lonely at the top. Happiness is a choice so let us try to be happy and be optimistic.

When people say touch time don't least, I really don't understand itt til it happens to me, I lots my Mom in 2020 after, we buried her in 2021, I thought my world have ended because I love her so much she was my everything. Year later we lost our dad, after spending so much money on the hospital he didn't survived. It was as if we have lost everything, my dad was a very nice person.  We struggled after their death, no help from his brothers. Things were hard but we're able to scale through. I never thought we would overcome it, as of today we're busy with one it two things that foot out bills. But we miss our parents everyday.  

No matter the situation, you will overcome. You just need to buy yourself through and hope on God to intervene, no situation is permanent so never panic when you have challenges just give it time, there is not challenge that people have not seen. When it gets to your turn just take it as it's. Life is not fair to everyone, both the rich and poor are faces it.

Your life has a meaning, that is why God sent someone to stop you from committing suicide the moment you decided to. I can relate with what you said, well not the part of committing suicide but the aspect of feeling lonely, and unimportant. Then, I could stay a whole year without someone calling to check up on me, including the people that gave birth to me. My advise to you is that, now you have found meaning to live, try as much as you can to live and fulfilled live. Not everyone has this privilege's but you did.

In as much as our faces are different so also is our situations and conditions so why finding reasons for downgrading yourself when you are not the only one going through pain or agony of life when you should have known they all come  to make one understand the lessons of life. The reasons we are men is our ability to neutralise situation and convert it to our advantages without any sign of weakness.

Some people consider hard times as the end of there life when they are made for correction, direction and stepping stone for a better tomorrow for those who consider it a learning scheme and not a destructive instrument. Not that am of the opinion that hardship is good but just advising  from experience because experience is the best teacher

In my opinion, the hardest aspect in life is the social one. To develop and maintain long lasting relationships has been a challenge. And when things don't go as expected, we end frustrated, what leads to illness and hopelessness. There isn't a cure for that pain. I fear you have to learn how to live with that pain (at least, until you are able to overcome that pain somehow). You don't know if it's possible, neither if you will be able to do so at some point. The key here is to just adopt a mindset that you can hold on meanwhile until it doesn't happen.

Don't try to artificially suffocate that pain, rather try to give attention to another aspects of your life which can be positively rewarding, even if it's only a little.

As human beings, I have come to understand that there is no manual on how best to live the life, so we live and learn from our experience as we grow, older persons or people that are more experienced tends to give reasonable advice to the younger ones so they don't go astray, so in  as much as we need young people with their energy, you still also need the older ones to help cheer the young ones the partway to life.

One of the best things we can do to ourselves while going through situations that might be depressing is to open up and talk to somebody you know will give you reasonable advice or somebody you feel can share in your situation, having bottled up emotions and not speaking to anybody can be suicidal,  so at a point in life you need to loosen up.

I'm very happy you share your story and you also used it to encourage others that may be going through a similar situation or even worse, you may be shocked that you have saved the life of someone with this story of your life and this encouragement you just shared here in Politics & Society, sometimes we are being pushed by God to say some things in order to encourage others since I have been in this forum I have not seen a thread like this and I'm very sure God was the one that pushed you in order to make this post to save someone's life or encourage someone never to give up.
No suffering is permanent in the life of someone there is always a way to get the person out from that suffering, the Bible says there's time for everything a time to suffer and a time to enjoy, a time of pain and a time of happiness.
In life there is always a time for everything nothing is ever permanent not even joy and happiness is permanent it comes and it goes when you understand this you will never have problem with even bad moments because you know it will surely go away.

It's pretty obvious that justice and fairness isn't really guaranteed in life. It will be unfair sometimes, sometimes it favors you, sometimes it goes against you, patience is the potion to drink. Let go of things not in hands, accept and love oneself, being productive can mitigate these self harm thoughts.

Thats the real thing mate, this life comes in different face which you have outlined and I believe that our maker understands why things happen they way it does, this something we have to be aware of and be ready for them, things must not be fair with you as a human bwinv all the time, may face a direction today tomorrow different direction and that's what it is, just a you as you said, we just have to tolerate ourself by sincerely being our brother keepers, the greediness and wickedness of man has been the problem of the human race if  not, there are somethings people are facing today that would've not been there although life happens.

Life would not be so difficult of there was more people aware of the importance of mental health and how it could be as important as physical health, the the former gets under-estimated and swiped under the rub as unnecessary for the average working person, thus there are so many people on the world who are contemplating suicide as escape to their pain, no realizing there are treatment for their illnesses.

Whatever the case, the most important step is reaching for help and recognize it is possible to overcome those death thoughts, as pain does not need to be everlasting, just a transition to a better place in one's life.

Well life is not a easy thing for alot of people. We all do feel some pain at a time in our life. I am glad you did not take this poison that you are talking about.

If some of your family members did say mean things to you it is not mean they all think this way. Because if you would have taken this poison they would have been hurt if you were gone. There is always a better choice for us to make then for taking our own life.

We wake up everyday to face new challenges in life, sometimes it is challenges which are expected in a certain phase of life while other times are challenges that are way more difficult than expected. I remember having very difficult times during my early school days, coupled with family financial instability I felt that was the end of it for me.
