What do you think about this after Meta lose huge amount of money on research on metaverse, this is another thing the company did recently. Meta  partner with Rayban, a company known to be producing high quality eyeglasses and sunshades.

You can use the glass to do somethings, like to see some text messages and you can control it with the stripe that comes with it which you will wear on your wrist like a hand band.

This will make some people not to focus on the road and cause accident. I am talking about people that are working on the road side, they can mistakenly move to the road and cause accident. Some people might also use it while driving and cause accident. That is what I think.

It is cost $700. What a waste of money. I see that the eyeglass is having huge marketing.

As a person who wears glasses due to my eyesight condition. I find the idea of Meta Ray-Ban eyeglasses so stupid, and it's a product that will succeed in the long run. The people rushing to by them right now are probably doing so due to hype, but once it dies, so does everything.

Oooh I remember Meta (Facebook by then) explored the idea of creating their own blockchain Libra (later renamed to Facebook Diem). Want to know where it is today?  Grin

I know this is not a question because you know the answer but let me answer.

The project was not successful.

Libra was later rebranded to Meta's Diem and also was not successful because of regulation.

Well for me I will not spend this kind of money $700 on some sunglasses. It does not matter if it does have some special things you can do with it.
The sunglasses I have now cost me $15. I do not think these types of sunglasses by Meta are for anyone that is no very rich.

Actually, the idea would be nice, but it would have almost no practical use, and paying $700 would be crazy.
