Why are majority of people really poor?

Reliance on the system essentially just keeps us stuck in a rut. I don't see much potential for employees to become wealthy as long as they rely solely on a monthly salary, but once they have a second source of income, they have a chance to become wealthy. Employees are governed by the system and the government won't create wealth for them, employees are expected to be loyal to their jobs and work until retirement.

Even though it's not only government employees, I would still say that it depends on a person's earning level. I know that it's not possible for someone to become wealthy only from their salary alone, but if someone is on a private job, making a good amount of money each month, and has very low expenses, like barely spends 20% of his total salary each month, that person can use the remaining funds for some investment, maybe start a side business, because businesses that are managed well can create generational wealth, and I have always seen this happening.

Those who think their savings are going to make them rich in the long run are delusional because they are forgetting about the fact that our money that we keep in fiat keeps losing purchasing power over time, which means that if we save $1,000 this year, it might buy us only $500 worth of items in the next year due to inflation and the currency losing value during that period.

So, it's true that wealth can't be made only from your salary, but it can be made if it is used properly, only if it's more than what you usually need.

Most people aren’t rich because they don’t earn enough money, spend too much or don’t know how to invest. Many jobs just pay enough to live not to save a lot. Also things like rent, food & bills take up most of people’s income. Some don’t learn about money or don’t get chances to build wealth. A few people at the top hold most of the money so it’s hard for regular folks to catch up.

You didn't add mindset among the options you listed. I think one of the reasons why people are poor is because of a poor mindset. If the mindset is poor, you will always remain poor; that understanding of getting up to do things that can help change one's level is not there. Sometimes, a poor mindset can make you look down on yourself, and you will just assume there is no need to strive to do things that can elevate you.

Another reason why people are poor is that they lack vision; they do not have any dream of how and where they want to see themselves. They are comfortable doing one particular thing their entire life.

In my opinion, I think family background is also a factor. In some families, generational wealth assures members of the family a good life, whether they work hard or not. Many people from poor families allow their background to speak for them. It is not easy to become wealthy or rich, but one thing about life is that you can change the story by putting effort into doing things for elevation. Even if it is not the dream level you desire to see yourself at, there will always be transformation.

If everyone is rich, life can not be balanced, but it is not good to be poor. Some people are poor because they lack education.

Knowledge, education and exposure are very important.

I think the government have some of the blame for people been poor, because they don't put things right for the citizens to thrive on and better their life, in most developing and underdeveloped nations the government are so corrupt that they only think about themselves and don't really bother on how to improve the livelihood of its citizens.
We can also say some people are poor because of bad decisions they have made in the past and it's affecting them till date. Probably they had opportunity to better their lives and they blew it, that's not on the government,  but it's on them, because it's was their decision.

I think most people don't know about this, education is good but thats not and assurance that an educated person will be rich or successful, there are many uneducated persons out their that's very rich although am not saying we should be educated, we should afterall  it helps alot to be educated but we shouldn't go about it as if the success of humanity depends on it, I love everything about science medical and natural science which I believe they have contributed to a very hight percentage of many advancement kudos for that but how many employers of labour or donors for research are very much educated, mate you just said it all with your conclusions here.

FINANCIAL DEBT: their are some individuals who tried to see how they can stand and make things worked for them self, but is so unfortunate that the accumulated debt they have enquire will not allow them grow. (Debt) is a goal to poverty.

This is what most people do, and it keeps them in poverty. They often prioritize a lifestyle that exceeds their income, always wanting to appear luxurious even though their income is limited. This leads to them being trapped in a cycle of living paycheck to paycheck, even getting into debt, buying things out of desire rather than need.

Furthermore they lack clear financial goals and planning. It's important to realize that living without a clear financial plan will result in wastefulness and a lack of direction in managing your money. There's no savings target, let alone investment. But ultimately, poverty is a self-created situation, driven by laziness and also by the government's failure to provide facilities, including healthcare and education, and employment opportunities.

Having children despite not having a suitable source of income is also a big reason for being poor. Because when you are single, your expenses will be much less, but when you get married, your expenses will increase, and at the same time, when you have children, your expenses will increase even more. And at this time, if you do not have a suitable source of income, you will not be able to save after meeting those expenses. It's simple mathematics really. There is usually a finite amount of money, while that number may grow, it's still not infinite number. That means, if Jeff Bezos sells all the groceries and shit, and if Elon sells all the cars, and if Bill sells all the OS, then all the money will be at them, because we al pay the same people.

You are right but people that live fake life's majorly are based on people that reside in the urban area. The large population of every country lies between villages and town and it's the way the number of poor people the country has its been rated. Most poor poor people that are living in big city are few trying to fit into a place they are not welcome, some people continue to fake it until they make and some people don't, when there is no way out they do run back to their base(village).

The difference between a poor man and mid financial person sometimes is comfort, many poor people are not move by things many want to have, all they want is good health and hospitals, good road, basic amenities and they are okay but an average person want to explore, that's why a poor man generation that stays in his local will likely be poor than an average person that struggle and hustle.

Poverty is not merely about money but due to how the economy and society are structured, it's often a generational something because large number of people are born into families with shortage of resources making it very difficult to access good health, education,or skills that are needed today to compete in the job space .

Another reason to look at is the unfairness of the cost of living and wages in countless places. Earnings stay the same while the prices of housing and basic necessities continues to rise in price. Poverty is not just all about lack of money, it is about being stagnant in the circle of limited choices and constant struggles because opportunities are rare and the system favours the privileged, then large number of people remain poor despite their hard work and how determined they are.
Numerous people are poor because poverty isn't just an individual problem it's economical, political and even social issue that requires better opportunities, fairness and supportive system to dismantle the cycle of poverty.

You're correct Alot of people don't earn much yet they don't know how to manage the little income they're getting, most of this people only know how to spend in luxury and other irrelevant stuffs they don't know how  to make savings or Invest into something. And yeah, many jobs don't pay much but we don't need to use that as an excuse because the little leftover can still yield something if they can be consistent in making the savings, take for instance they're putting $20 into bitcoin  they're getting no less than $960 that's if they're making the purchase every week but I'm sure that there is a certain stage where they will want to front load there investment. This is just about planning forgetting the fact that they're not earning a decent amount.

You say poverty is not just about money, but I disagree.  Money gets you everything else.  If you dont have it, you cant get good health care, education, or skills.  You cant buy better choices, or better systems for life.  But if you solve the money problems, your options open up immediately.

Blaming the system for our problems ignores that rich people started in the same system. They took chances, got good skills, and made the most of it.

I disagree to the above mentioned statement writing off government as the root cause of poverty in the country. Its clear men are born but hero's are made but their must be a structure or stepping stone before one can work his way out of poverty, imagine living where the government has know plan for the citizens, what do you think will become of them.

Using Africa as a case study, do you think there are no hardworking people over there that over 60 percent are still living below average life? When it comes to being hardworking do you the the western world's are stronger than them that they come out victorious than Africans, the answer is know what they are facing is corrupt political leadership system which ends up stealing public funds for their selfish desires leaving the poor masses without hope of surviver.

As the government can't provide all the necessities of people, people should do their part and find a way how to uplift his economic status. The government can't cater each and everyone for their needs.
