And you are right, the root cause of poverty in a country is the government. Because if they really care about the people and the country. They will seek to improve by creating a good educational environment, encouraging and supporting people to have easy access to education. Then create a rich job market...If they can do that, the country's poverty will disappear.
Do you know that in some countries the government deliberately keeps the people in poverty because the poorer the masses the more easier it will be for them to win elections, that is why the government are never going to do things that will end poverty in the country. I see it as a deliberate effort from the part of the government to keep the people in poverty. You know the government control the system and it becomes very difficult to defeat the system when the system is just designed to fight you and keep you in abject poverty. This is just the main reason why majority of the people will remain poor till the end of time. Basically, the government is in control of the economic system where they play a role in the welfare of their people, so indeed if poverty is so great, it means that there is a system failure made by the government itself so that it is utilized by oligarchs and capitalists to take advantage of the country, unfree competition, low education and so on trigger poverty that continues in society, those who have better access to education will usually be much better off than those who do not learn at all. I don't know which country you are referring to that is deliberately against its people, if you could give an example let us learn more and what the current situation is, this is certainly against humanity in the form of the government's responsibility to give its people their rights.

In fact, there are many factors that keep someone poor or unable to become wealthy, but in most cases, and most likely, it's because they're lazy about learning and unwilling to work hard.
Simply put, success will only come when someone is willing to try, work hard, be brave, and never stop learning. Success only comes when you have a wealth of knowledge, and that knowledge can only be acquired when you're willing to learn.

It depends on which country you're referring to. If we're talking about the Western society, I'd go with comfort. People have become comfortable with having just enough to survive, barely enough to save and think for the long-term, and exhausted enough to think of an alternative way out.
I fully agree that the fiat system has completely made the people lose hope, but playing the devil's advocate, people rarely question things like money. What is money? What is inflation? Why are we living so many crises? I'd argue that being ignorant about what is money is while going after it for your entire life is something that will naturally keep you poor.

What you say is true, but more than that, people who end up living in poverty are usually those born into poor families, and they struggle to study and work hard, so they can't escape that situation. Don't misunderstand me when I say people born into poor families, because that's the reality, at least in my own experience. They lack motivation because they see their families as the source of their problems, and they don't try to improve their lives, so poverty becomes something they consider inherited.

Great list but not adding the government and those who wants to see only the rich maintaining riches and the poor remaining poor is unfair. Poverty is man made, the system and the politicians do not really watch to see these changes otherwise they'll have them happening. Doing drugs and having too much alcohol can lead one astray to spend his or her money stupidly. Laziness should be number one on your list but it is not there. Not taking responsibilities and having zero financial knowledge in this modern age. I do think it is about that time parents stop trusting the government to correct these for them.

Here I am not agreed with this many big names also ended in poor while they were doing great in rest of their lives due to bad decisions or having wrong strategy this brings them to have their end on worst even I can give many examples but here talk is why the majority of peoples really poor. Mostly are pointed out in OP and these are correct, but now war for interest is also increasing like big whales always on to eat small fishes this is also increasing instability and high inflation just because of these peoples approach to go above is ending inherited is nothing every human can bring good and bad by his own. You always need to stick with your target with consistency and hard work always change will happen because it's always available for everyone.

1. Health challenge 2. Lack of good education 3. Financial debt 4. Unemployment 5. Ghost names 6. Regional zone
Your points are right but there are still some key reasons that could still make you to be poor when you are suppose to be rich. They includes: 👉👉Lack of right information: Information is one of the key to success in life. Getting the right information earlier can easily change your life. Imagine, knowing about Bitcoin at the earliest stage of your life. 👉👉Laziness: we delay actions. We never act fast on opportunities. Opportunities can never run after us rather we run after it and we should utilize it when it comes. Some people keep prosponing actions till tomorrow and their tomorrow never ended until another person utilize the opportunity. A business opportunity you see today that could change your life can be taken up by someone else if you fail to act fast. 👉👉Fear of losing: Alot of people are fear of losing, this made them not to make a step to try. Life itself is a risk and if you can't take the risk it may be difficult for you to make it. 👉👉Always blaming others: Blaming government or your parent for being poor can't solve your problem. These are problems that can't be reversed. So it is better you work on yourself and stop blaming people. Blaming people will just keep you in just a position where you won't be ready to work nor make money.

It is so annoying seeing people begging for survival it really breaks my heart. I really tried to figure out why majority of people are so poor to a climax of begging for survival. I don't know if I am to blame the government or individuals. Anyways here are the following factors that convince me why majority of people are poor.
1. Health challenge 2. Lack of good education 3. Financial debt 4. Unemployment 5. Ghost names 6. Regional zone
HEALTH CHALLENGE: this means people with disabilities and also people with someone kind of illness that can not permit them to work.
LACK OF GOOD EDUCATION it is really abnormal and annoying to see the kind of failed system of education we have in some countries, because the systems are corrupt majority of the students follow suits, basically stopped attending lectures therefore can't defend themself or their professions, automatically making them self jobless.
FINANCIAL DEBT: their are some individuals who tried to see how they can stand and make things worked for them self, but is so unfortunate that the accumulated debt they have enquire will not allow them grow. (Debt) is a goal to poverty.
UNEMPLOYMENT the rate at which majority of people are unemployed in this country are so alarming, basically there are jobs everywhere but greedy people who has the opportunity are not making this job opportunities available for people, rather they give it to their people who are not really qualified for the job.
GHOST NAMES this might sound some how for those who have not had about ghosts names, In the civil service commission this is where you find thousands and millions of names that are not in existence probably they are died names, denying people who are alive to work and earn a living.
With all this that have been outlined above I think I am convinced why the rate of poverty in the country.
I would add the following reasons: - Human laziness and greed - it is easier to beg for alms and state benefits than to try and work. If you think that alms are pennies, you are mistaken. Especially if it is an organized “network” of collecting alms. - People's fear of change. A simple example: a person works in a low-paying and uncompetitive position. What are their prospects? Losing their job! But instead of learning something new, training for a new profession, the person continues to do what they have always done. “It is foolish to believe in change while continuing to do the same thing” (c) attributed to Einstein - There is also the problem of the influence of religious fanatics on people. Here, everything is simple and easy to observe—forcing people to work for pennies, telling them that wealth is evil, forcing them to live in “Stone Age” conditions, while their fanatical religious leaders live full and rich lives, taking advantage of all the benefits of the civilized world.

While governments influence people's economic stability by failing to provide the proper conditions to ensure the quality of life for the majority of the population, individuals also bear personal responsibility for their level of poverty. It is an individual duty to strive for the best possible living conditions for oneself. Unfortunately, many people have an extreme apathy toward work, which leads them to surrender to idleness. Therefore, the government cannot be blamed for poverty in such cases. The government has their own role while individuals have their own too. In most cases, government may delay or abandon their roles. Although it's bad from there side but this shouldn't be a reason for us to be poor. Just like you have said, ones idleness blaming what can't be change (government or your parents) can be a way to remain poor forever.

I wish this is true in all scenario but it's not or perhaps from third world countries the leaders are very well known in cultivating poverty than they would allow the economy to do well. They know that the more people suffer under their hands, the less they make noise the less they want to prove out of their hands and the easier it's for them to do things they like. Study west Africa, there has been more than 5 coup in the space of 2 years and all are as a result of bad leadership. Willingness is one big factor but I think people are lazy because they want to be lazy and not because the system made them lazy. The same way government can use poverty to control people, when some people have much on their plate, they don't want to work. If you check on some homeless men on the street and ask them why they are homeless and their back story, you will be annoyed by some of their decisions, it's because the system is good that's why, extra satisfaction can make some people go out of line.

The main cause of poverty does not depend on one thing but depends on many things. I think laziness is a big reason behind poverty. Common people want to get everything very easily, they do not want to work hard, they always want to use easy way. Although the present is good through easy way, the future is dark. The political situation plays a big role behind the poverty of a country, the more corruption there is in a country, the rich it becomes and the poor become poorer, so corruption has to be reduced to develop the country, otherwise it is not possible. A country and its people are gradually falling behind due to corruption.

Working hard and effort combine bring economic change of an individual But before talk about personal effort. We must consider the geographical or economic condition of a country. In many developing or under developing countries, here majority of the people are day by day going poor because of their country wrong policies or unequal opportunities, lack of resources that remains the people poor. The environment limits their progress. Majority of the people don't really want to be poor by their own wish.nBut situation is different in developed countries, their system always provide support to the poorer. Even in some countries they provide unemployment allowances. The gap between rich and poor is widen day by day bin developing countries and the reason is their weak policies or weak management.

In short, there are many causes of poverty. The cause could be laziness or a lack of effort on the part of the people, but it could also be the result of poor management and misguided policies from that government. We cannot blame the people and say they are lazy or not hardworking when their government fails to create jobs and build a stable economic environment, instead focusing on corruption and neglecting people's lives. Conversely, we cannot completely blame the government if only a small segment of the population falls into poverty while the majority have jobs and incomes. But in my observation, the increasing poverty and widening gap between rich and poor is largely the fault of the government. Many governments are only good at corruption, poor governance, and fail to create a healthy economic environment for everyone.

Therefore, the government cannot be blamed for poverty in such cases. How a person will be in life really depends on the surrounding environment. Some exceptional examples can be seen that they have done something good even from a bad situation, but most people's lives do not change. Even though everyone understands that the government of that country has a big role behind this, the government does not want to admit it. They always avoid their mistakes and try to win people's hearts by telling various nonsense stories. Thinking that it is bad, how the life of all ordinary people will be, how their future will be depends on the decisions of just a few people or a few institutions. All the poor countries in the world are in the same situation. Especially many countries are dominated by the big powerful countries of the world. The dominant countries determine how their economy, education, communication, and lifestyle will be.

Well OP yeah. Most times you find yourself in a situation whereby you wish you had all the money in the world to help the poor but then we live in a world where the rich gets richer and the poor strive to survive. That's just how life is. To me it's not balanced but then I like to believe that not everyone was born poor and died poor and not everyone who was born rich ended up rich forever. If I may say all what you have listed, yeah most are correct but we chose to believe that's what makes people poor. Like basically in my country poor people still give birth to up to seven to eight children even in their financial status. So tell me how do you expect that family to grow financially? That said I believe poverty can't be eradicated we only tend to reduce it. And also the government shouldn't be blamed entirely because even if there was a change in government and prices of things goes down, there will still be poor people who are going to still complain........
Moreover the fact that most people are poor now is basically because of their parents. Like think about it why would someone give birth to so many children when you can't afford their needs definitely, this is where poverty tends to be inherited.Nowadays poor people don't want to even work. Most of them rather beg on the street and what is painful the is that most of them still have two hands and legs, so tell me what is stopping them from work hard. Don't get me wrong, I am not supporting anyone. I am simply trying to say there are many factors other than the ones you mentioned. Well that's just it for me I like to believe there are two sets of poor people those who do not want to work for themselves and those who are trying so hard to work for themselves. So that's all bro.....

Besides banishing laziness from your own mind, so it can fade over time, we also must avoid befriending or associating with lazy people. The influence of other people's laziness can also infect us, even though we may not be particularly lazy. But if our friends are lazy, we will inevitably become lazy ourselves. That's why eliminating laziness requires action from all sectors, not just ourselves. A negative social environment can also lead to laziness if there's no one to remind us that it's a bad trait and must be eliminated by anyone who wants to be successful.

It is certainly true that the situation and environment for those who are born into a poor family is always negative. It will definitely be difficult to get out of their situation. Generally, those who are born into a poor family have very little chance of becoming rich. The path to becoming rich is narrowed for them. On the other hand, those who are born into a rich family can remain rich without any difficulty. Although there are some changes, in most cases, the chances of becoming rich from a rich family increase. Many people have also become rich from poor families, but in their case, that chance is very low at present.

Poverty is usually not caused by one thing but a mix of many problems stacked together, health issues alone can push a family down fast especially where there is no safety net, education also matters but even educated people struggle when the system is corrupt or jobs are given through connections, blaming only individuals or only government feels too simple because both sides play a role.

Most of the people are poor because they choosed wrong field in which the have no interest and they are not earning good because they need money to invest in anything and they have no excess of money to invest in anything. If they will choose a field in which they are interested and that field has good scope and they can do job on multiple platforms then that will will best for them but they are not doing that and they did degree and took advise from the people who did not work in that field and he is saying that field is best but actually that field has no scope . I am watching that kind of situation in the society and they are getting very less salary after doing graduation and they have no money to invest and they are giving hundred percent to meet the daily expenses and rich are doing investment because they have bulk of money.
