This can't happen in mostly poor areas where livelihood isn't that much. So, the best solution is to train people with skills and for them to go on with life wherever they want to be after. Most of the people from the poor areas get to learn from how tough life is, learn some skills and go somewhere else to offer their skills and work for it. Quality education and having relative skills will bring a person far. Because knowledge, skills and also attitude is what they'll realize are needed for them to get out of their tough situation.

Well said mate, I just want to add to this, promoting entrepreneurship can also play an important role eradicating and getting rid of poverty . When people are engaged with their small businesses, they create job opportunities for themselves or also for others. Another one factor is the access to affordable loans which can enable an individual to manage wisely and grow your incomes and make it sustainable.

Skill acquisition is a good way to fight poverty but what if after acquiring the skills and there is no existing structure or capital required to esterblished those that have acquired those skills. Know matter the amount of skills acquired without proper provision those skills are useless, apart from that the government has a lot of work to do in making those skills valuable to the society instead of converting public funds to private so it could be useful to them alone.

If they brought an opportunity for a job to 10,000 persons, all of them might not going to love taking the job because there are some who would want to stay dependent, so that's why government providing all of the mentioned cannot take away all the poverty but however it will solve 90 percent poverty the country is currently facing because those that would love it will be many, although another thing is the sufficiency because a country with large population could make some not to benefit because there would be an extent it will only stop but in general if country do this then they have expresses the love they have for people they're governing.

Skill acquisition is a commensurate way of sustaining an economy on individual basis, as everybody will be busy in one way or the other to be productive. China has really shown to the world that population is not entirely a disadvantage, as proper channeling of the energy of the population to a productive system will definitely help to build financial stability and utmostly eradicate poverty.

Although China is a communist state and most of the laws are not that flexible when compared to democratic state where people want to challenge government policies if they seem not to be comfortable with them. I don't think that it is possible to totally eradicate poverty in any society, what I know is that poverty can be reduced to a bearest minimum, no matter how a government tries there will always be the poor. Some people are naturally lazy, they don't want to do anything to earn money, they want to depend on government and alms to survive, such people will be poor no matter how rich their economy is.

To eradicate poverty you have to eradicate greed which is not possible, even when everybody is not lazy, they are willing to get good education and learn skills to make money some people will still want to be at the top will others are beaneth them. Agreed, it is impossible to completely eliminate poverty because there are many causes of poverty. Besides the reason from the government side because they cannot provide people with a favorable environment. Some causes of poverty are due to laziness or unplanned spending by some people...or it could be due to environmental factors like natural disasters and earthquakes. Therefore, it is impossible to completely eliminate poverty, we can only improve and reduce the rate to the lowest possible level by various measures.

In addition to what you said, government should also create empower scheme in order to train people in various area of skills and empower them after they are through so that, they can set up themselves with what they're given. But if you just teach them the skills without empowering them, it's like a waste because majority of them will find it difficult to get a job on that skill.

In my personal opinion, it is true poverty will be always present in our societies, but we can take steps not to allow poverty to scalate to levels in which becomes unbearable for people to live with, after all, developed countries still have poverty, but it is not crippling.

Sometimes, the key to eradicating poverty is through mindset reorientation. No matter how you try to change the status of some people, they will always go back to their poor state. Now read these experience I'll share.

Once, a governor in my country took it upon himself to change the status of a poor beggar who always sits along the street to beg passers-bys money. He took her from the streets, built a beautiful apartment for her, engaged her in a job she'll earn from. But to the surprise of many, this beggar in less a month of this "cleanup" went back to the streets begging again. She was so used to that lazy mindset of acting poor, begging instead of working hard for her money.
No matter what the government wants to do, they must make sure the citizens have a clean mindset that is willing to accept growth.

The truth is poverty might not be something we can totally erase but we can definitely reduce its impact. I think the real problem is when societies normalize extreme poverty as inevitable. It’s not about creating a world with zero poor people but about making sure that being poor doesn’t mean being hopeless. Education, fair wages and access to basic amenities as well as opportunities can go a long way in keeping things balanced.

At the end of the day, what truly matters is giving everyone a fair chance to live with dignity regardless of their background.
