Hello every one, I guess I'm not the only one who noticed that a place where we once know as a forum for discussing about gambling and making our selves better in gambling, Is now an advertising forum, I came looking for discussion that will enlighten me as a gambler, but to my greatest surprise I can't see non.

If you couldn't find topic(s) that could serve you, why not create one? This sub is lively for obvious reasons, and you will get responses in no time.

Yes advertising is part of it but it has now overweight the true purpose if the forum. Which in my own perspective it's wrong, I think measures  should be taken to minimise the rate of at which we make advertisement in the forum.

I don't think advertisement affects the discussion in this sub whatsoever, it may be bit spammy but it's all good.

As far as I know, gambling has been always advertised on this forum since many years ago through signature campaigns and official threads created by the casinos themselves. At same time, forum users have been discussing different gambling topics while displaying the banners of the casinos.

Advertisement and gambling discussion here are mutual, they happen at same time and at the same place.

This is a gambling board so what do you expect. Every board has their own area of discussion. You cannot go to the technical board or bitcoin discussion board and start discussing about gambling. Gambling is legal here in the forum, I don't see why that's a problem to you because as far as I know we still have non gamblers in this forum that don't give a fuck about the ads.

This is a bitcoin forum and any service that uses bitcoin is allowed to come here and advertise their brand for promotion. Apart from mixers. Do you have any problem with the gambling ads, because I don't understand what you are looking for. You're new here and have to take the forum the way it is because it has been like this for long.

And it's been almost how many hours? The OP of the thread has not come back to update and answer the questions which have been sent to him in respect to what he means by here turning into an advertising zone instead of the supposed gambling discussion board.

Even that signature campaigns you see on the forum are also promotions of different casinos. What does a discussion mean to you ? Isn't it an interaction about a specific topic? So if we are supposed to discuss about gambling why can't people talk about different casinos and advertise. Go through the platform and get used to it, if you are interested in gambling those adverts can help you at some point

Please point to any thread that's "advertisement", beside the announcement threads where people are discussing about the sites. But since you wrote in gambling discussion, i am thinking you have seen them here. Do they still exist? Because i am pretty sure that any other threads then announcements are removed as advertisements soon after they are posted. Referral links are not even allowed in posts.

And even in those announcements there's free speech and critique is allowed, which you don't see that much in real advertising. If you are talking about signatures, you can just ignore them and read the posts.

Each board is divided, if you want to learn gambling, you can go to the gambling board. But you have posted here, it is mainly about gambling, but if you want to gamble and have the desire there, you can go to the gambling board and discuss in ANN grade. There you will find different types of gambling sites and get the opportunity to play games, there you have the opportunity to play any type of games. personally i have not seen that much advertising you mean i still see discussions about gambling and if you mean those with signature campaigns i think you shouldn’t worry too much because even with sig campaigns those people can still be objective when dealing with gambling discussions

If you scrolled from the first page of this section to the third page and you find a thread that stimulated profitable gambling discussions, then it's more about you not identifying good topics as against what you claimed. Maybe you can go ahead and create one yourself and let's see your description of enlightenment topic. Maybe as Cantasy right said list out the topics that are not informative here let's see our better still report them to the mods.

FYI where adverts are placed is in the service section and not here in the gambling discussions section.

After going through that topics and you find out that what you wish to discuss isn't on any thread you can create one, it's that simple...A gambling discussion board can accommodate whatever is gambling related including promotions...not saying that anyone is better than others here because no one is an island of knowledge but a lot of high ranked members are no longer focused on some certain topics on gambling, it's left for you to share your ideas or ask a question so other can interact with you

So are you implying that the numerous topics on how to be a better gambler and gamble responsibly that has been raised here in this gambling section of the forum you don't see them? If you don't see them it simply mean you are not frequent here in this part of the forum. As far I know there has been many topics that touches different aspects of gambling here and people has been discussing and sharing their experiences. It's surprising to see you say you don't see any.

Obviously, you are too focused on the ads displayed, rather than the numerous discussions about gambling. If you have a question related to gambling, please feel free to ask, and we will address it and discuss a solution.

Bitcoin discussions board is not the right board for this even,  i dont know the exact place to place this topic, but i mentioned earlier that since is about advertisement then either service board or meta should be the appropriate place to post such thing and not gambling discussion board in the first place.

And from how the ops approach this topic, it shows he have little to no idea of what he is even talking about in the first place so we shouldn't expect him to engage with this discussion.

This is a discussion and everyone here has their own discussion. You will not see anyone here spamming the name of the company because they are working for Signature Camp Ken. Everyone is normally always just discussing and everyone is always saying that gambling is not a means of income and should be used only for entertainment. And always discussing the bad effects of gambling addiction. So here no one is forcing anyone to gamble but rather saying that gambling is a bad addiction. Everyone is giving honest reviews to everyone.

I agree to your observation and if there are ways to constrain the numerous advertisement that has been going on in here, I'll absolutely be in support.  I wish this was even possible...  We have different boards for all those topics, but since there are mostly scam attempts to lure people in, they refuse to post them on the service board since more eyes are open to scrutinizing the project plan and how genuine it is.

Making a reference to any observations you made is necessary, because it may be that you're not clear with the intention for that particular thread or you're right and need to bring everyone to the light of knowing what is truly happening, but base on my personal experience here, I don't think anything of such has changed, we have sections under the gambling board, moderators are doing their job well and we can't even consider the main Bitcoin discussion boards on this context.

I wonder what he meant by here being an advertising zone, and he could not see something he wished to learn about gambling, if he doesn't specifically see what he wants, doesn't mean that there are not other helpful topics here which many of us even learned from it and nothing stops him from asking a question in a new thread for clarification of what he wants to learn and see that no body provides him with a valid answer.

Probably because some user post nonsense on gambling discussion board just for the sake of the post quota on their signature campaign. I believe this topic should be moved on meta since it’s not about gambling discussion rather the board which gambling being discussed.

The other angle I’m think that he view is the fact that other user keep suggesting the casino they are promoting via signature on their post whenever they are discussing about casino feature.

But all this speculation is useless since the OP is not active on gambling board and doesn’t made any reply after creating this thread.

Given that there have been multiple posts regarding discussion on gambling, you can utilize the search bar located at the top-right corner of this screen for any posts alike.

While this forum accepts advertisements from gambling websites, it also had already completed several posts about gambling discussion, addiction, its remedies, tips and all other relevant matters for as long as you use the search bar.

Good discussion point, gambling boards work best when the focus stays on strategy, odds, and player experience, not promo spam. Too much advertising turns useful threads into noise.
Keeping it discussion-first helps everyone learn from each other’s approach.

While we do appreciate gambling tips for everyone, there have been too many similar posts already created in the past. If we continue to create a discussion that has already been discussed before, we are just contributing to the overall spam of posts in this forum.

Gambling discussions board is meant for this purpose, you see a lot of interesting topics to discuss on, while the general gambling board mainly consist of the announcement threads of the gambling platforms, now to the question OP needed an answer to, if you think there is no more engaging gambling discussions and you truly figure this out, then why not create one and make everyone engaged, signature or not does not affect anything here.
