It this advisable?

Is it advisable for someone to solo mine Bitcoin with 450TH and wait for a block to get solved? This is still a profitable miner but with one block solved the problem is over, or it is just better to mine the normal way and get your reward every 24hrs?

if you have free or cheap electric, then why not?

If I had that much hash power available and cheap enough electric, solo would be my choice.

But, its going to be personal preference once you weigh up the cost implications.

The odds are still high, but its certainly within reach of getting lucky and better odds that winning anything on the lottery

Whatsminer M63S+ is what I am looking at, I don't know how reliable this brand is compare to Bitmain, or is there any Bitmain miner that has 450TH on one go like this M63S+?

Two s21xp seem better, 270TH each is 540TH, 3645watt x2 , while the m63S+ takes 7650watts

More hashrate, better power consumption too

$10,000 for m63S+ and $5400 for each S21xp.

Yeah you still stand a chance at a block, but you also get sure coins.

I would point to viabtc for the 9 days and solo ck pool for the 1 day.

As an alternative you could split hashrate instead (e.g. 90/10) if your firmware supports this....

Would eliminate the effort for switching pools, while not breaking the idea behind it....

1 could switch back and forth from viabtc.com to ck solo

1 s21pro for $3919 this does 245th do solo  saves 1000 bucks and most likely 245th or 270th will never hit a
