We all know gambling already carries risk, but what happens when you mix it with alcohol?
Personally, I’ve had a few times where I ended up gambling while drunk , whether at a casino or even online, and the experience was way different.

When you’re drunk, you lose that natural fear of losing. Suddenly, betting bigger amounts feels normal because your judgment is off. Based on my own experience (and I can count these moments on my fingers), I ended up losing about 4 out of 5 times whenever I gambled drunk.

It really felt like a recipe for disaster - even though it seemed fun in the moment.

I only tried it once, and I don't even remember how I lost my bankroll. A friend also got drunk in physical casinos, and he can’t remember how he lost all his money in his pocket.

You have to pick only one. There is a saying: If you drink, don’t drive. You have the same experience in gambling, physical casinos in particular, love to serve energy drinks and liquor to their visitors. It’s their way to have an edge on your bet; you are guaranteed to lose if you fall into this trap.

If you're looking for entertainment rather than profit, I don't think gambling while drunk is a bad idea. That's what most of my friends do while drinking with me, and we don't expect to win a lot; if we win half of what we deposit, we'll withdraw and use the money to buy more rum.

Maybe for other gamblers who gamble with skill-based games, drinking alcohol is actually a bad idea because it can affect your strategy and decision-making.

Yes, it's quite risky too! Too many uncontrolled emotions that would make you feel that you would go all out. A 'go big or go home' type of thing. We all know that mixing the two together wouldn't be a good idea.

I also tried studying while drunk, but it's not effective lol. I just forgot everything I read.

Any form of intoxication, be it alcohol, meth, coke and rest makes gambling a disaster. Let me remind you that those nasty habits are a ton of distractions that will only drain you mentally, physically and also drain your pockets.

I don't drink at all for personal reasons but I can relate what you are trying to say and that is absolutely 100% accurate, drunk people will not be aware of their actions so we can't say their activities are at the best interest at that time and if we give their money and access to burn it completely then they won't hesitate at all because they just feel the joy from something else.

If you want to gamble then just gamble and if you want to get drunk then just do it, mixing up with one another is simply asking for more trouble.

I have gambled while drinking alcoholic drinks, including beers and hots but I am not drunk but it will just make me feel good while gambling sometimes. Just make sure you know your limit. Like me I can take at least two big bottles of beer and still gamble. If I take one bottle, it will be like I take nothing. If you can give me one full barbeque cat fish with it or goat meat pepper soup or barbecued, I will appreciate it.

I have not tried that and that is because I understand that being drunk gets you inebriated that you act on impulse without proper care nor diligent. Being drunk makes someone to be hyper active and you might just stake all balance at once which is not the proper way to gamble. Although, it has two sides which could be negative or positive in terms of being lucky to profit but most of the bettors that I know who said they were drunk before gambling recorded more lose than profit.

I have never tried it before, and I would never in my life try such thing when playing gambling because doing that would definitely result to more losses at the end of the day. Honestly, this is the most dengerous thing in gambling because even though Alcohol is not good for a normal person talkles of a gambler that is in high risk situation, that is to said that such person doesn't value himself anymore because whether you like it or not a lot of losses is satting at the end of the day.

I am not a drunker so I can't really expressed how it's but I know that for someone to be a drunker and couple it with gambling is extremely risky which we wouldn't understand any way try to join both together as the consequences could be much and could only leads to more loses while gambling. So it's extremely bad to couple both gambling and drinking at a time, but usually what I know that alcohol does is that it mostly triggers most men becoming womanizing but can't lead to someone losing that much in gambling, although when someone is drunk and gambling they wouldn't use their rights sense while gambling.

As we put it this way, we already know potential threats if someone will do this activity and at the same time in the spirit of alcohol. I haven't done such act yet as I am also not an alcohol drinker. On that note, I haven't experienced a situation relating to such. But it would surely cause a disaster as you have no full control of yourself if you are drinking alcohol.

That is, if you are just having good time with your friends and having fun. So for sure, you basically have the idea how much you can spend for that session. As you are just having entertainment, you are not that serious on your game. Which means, lose or win, it doesn't matter to you. But even then, you should still know your limits.

Drinking too much alcohol is bad, as is gambling. Drinking large amounts of alcohol while gambling is a deadly combination and will drain your wallet and bank account. However, if you drink alcohol in moderation, it can create a more relaxed mood that allows you to be calmer when gambling and more calm when making decisions when placing bets.

Personally, I never get drunk while gambling, and it's something I avoid at all costs. Even when gambling while sober, I always lose more money, let alone when gambling while drunk. I can't even imagine how much I would lose, but one thing is certain: when I'm sober, it will be the biggest regret I've ever felt.

No I never gamble while drunk since I know it is really one of the best way to lose one self-control.  The brain, looking for more dopamine secretion to fill its needs for excitement is given by the effect of alcohol, resulting in less careful decisions since a person feels confident all of a sudden.  This is also one of the reasons why a drunk gambler does not mind how much they are betting.

I may not have a personal experience but I have seen and observed this kind of action several times.  A person who was once conservative on betting (a gambling game called lucky 9, a neighborhood gambling game with cards) became reckless when he got drunk.

Avoid alcohol as much as you can, not just as a gambler but as a person that want make right decisions in everything, just as you said gambling carries it own risks and if you add it up with alcohol it becomes an express to lose focus and become inspired, and you make some risky decisions that will ultimately affect the outcome of the decision while gambling.

I think the best thing you can do for yourself in the act of gambling is to completely remain in control where as the influence of alcohol alters that notion. I don't think I can even try it because am not too strong with drinks and just few rounds and I would find myself sailing up in cloud 9 finding it hard to think and reason properly.

Normally it's not advisable to engage into any activity when you're drunk, you'll be advised to take a rest and sober up before xomi back to do whatever you think you really need to do. Gambling is a game of risk taking, and when you're drunk a  lot faculty in you cease from processing rightly including fear becomes nothing to you, and drastic and unreasonable decisions are easily taken without considering the consequences until when your eyes are cleared off the alcohol.

Never advisable to gamble while drinking alcohol but there is no harm if you can resist the urge of doing something disastrous. Once my bankroll is deposited for the day, nothing can make me refill after exhausting it whether on alcohol or not. I have lost my bankroll in online casinos, drinking and gambling but i don't allow my self to get soaked to an extent i can't control my actions or awareness, some level of alcohol will give the best feeling of entertainment but if it exceeds your intake, uncontrollably your actions will put you at risk.

I guess drinking alcohol moderately may not be that bad, but when you become drunk while gambling continuously, that’s where misery starts to happen. It happened to me one or twice I think, and the outcomes were definitely undesirable. It’s like I lose too much, something that I don’t know how. But the fact that it gave me a headache after, that only means that it shouldn’t be an ideal thing to do.

It’s okay to drink, but always know your limits. Otherwise, if you gamble while drinking a lot, the feeling is high, until you realized in the end you lose all the funds you’ve got, which is definitely an amount that you can’t afford to lose.

Yes, I've gambled while drinking alcohol, but not drunk. It's a very bad idea, but I know there are a lot of people who do it, especially in brick-and-mortar casinos. I don't see myself drinking and playing online. I don't see the point in drinking while locked within four walls.

I think doing so will make you more likely to lose, because alcohol affects the way you analyze things and generally leads to poor betting decisions.
