Man with the highest IQ goes all in on Bitcoin

Isn't the man with the highest IQ a bit late in stating that he will go all in on Bitcoin? Why was it just now that he made that announcement? 

If this is a marketing campaign to get people on board with bitcoin, I don’t think it is a nice one.

It is possible that this is a marketing ploy or that he just wants to get noticed by the crypto community to get more people for his social media influence.  It would be nice to see the guy with the highest IQ to get on board, but to say that he is all in and sounds like he is encouraging people to do the same, that is not the best idea, IMO.

How did they get to find out what his IQ is, for him to be regarded as the man with the highest IQ, have they gone round to check everyone's IQ even I as a newbie I'm seeing great potential in Bitcoin that's not hard to see,.
From the post it seems he's just realizing it for someone who's supposed to have the highest IQ he's pretty slow.
Who measures this IQ of a thing? I'll will like to check mine.

IQ is measured by standardized tests, but these tests cannot accurately measure such high IQ because there's nothing to compare it to.
Let's say you give people 10 tests and compare the results. You compare enough, you get the average, for instance being 6 tests right and 4 wrong and total time to do all being 30 min.
You get someone to do 7 right within 30 mints you classify them as above average.

Once in a million or less you get something completely out of the charts like a guy who gets all of them right within 10 minutes. How do you even compare that to the rest if you were saying that the person who gets all of them right in 30 mints has an IQ of 120? You have to give that person a higher score but how much higher? 125? 130? 140? That's why there's now way to classify this guy. They are saying he's 276, but how many people have IQ of 140? You're considered top 1% of the world if your IQ is above 135. One in 30k people has IQ of 160, so this guy is completely out of measurable range. There are no people to compare his results with.

Thanks for your research! I also looked into his profile, and haven't heard of any of these societies. While Mensa (the most popular "high IQ" society) is mentioned here, this is also just on that suspicious website, and there is no Mensa source itself I could find.

The first response (with many upvotes) is quite clear:

276 IQ doesn’t exist. Most serious institutions assessing IQ will stop at 160 because it’s already such a small sample from the average intelligence that any further assessment is fairly approximative. Depending on the methodology (most IQ test use a SD of 10 or 15 points), you are already between 4 and 6 SD away at that point.

Even if his score is legit by whatever measure they took, he seems to be a "mind sports specialist", which means that he may have a very specialized kind of intelligence. Such people can also excel in other fields but it's not a must.

Personally I think his decision is not the worst (I believe Bitcoin can still grow a lot) but far from being the best (doing DCA, to catch a better entry point).

It's hard to find a cryptocurrency news source that doesn't do the same thing. When they don't have anything smart to write, they go public with things like this, and as we see, few people will even check to see if that person exists. I would conclude that you don't need a high IQ to understand the advantages of Bitcoin, you just need a little common sense and determination to break away from the usual payment methods or investments.

In the crypto space, we have millions of intelligent and dumb ass being investing their all in Bitcoin. i guess the takeaway for me is just because someone crazy smart is buying BTC doesn’t mean we should go all in too. It’s a signal to research, think critically, and invest only what you can handle. There’s no shortcut to learning the market.

I don't know wether to say it is a financial risk to have all your investments in Bitcoin but however I know that several factors can have significant impact on Bitcoin price. In the case of a government policy not favorable to Bitcoin definitely it affects the price of Bitcoin it may either increase or reduce the price of Bitcoin, what if it reduced what happens to your holdings?
I also know that exchanges and wallet can also be vulnerable to hacking and this may involve losing of all holdings in just a blink of an eye
It's a good thing to have a great percentage of your investment in Bitcoin but having your entire holdings is what I can not prescribe

I don't think that it's a big sin when you announce your prayers. I often even see people posting their prayers and it's not a problem for believers and non-believers. I agree to the others who are saying that being the highest IQ doesn't mean that he'll be a great investor. But let's spare that guys and he's part now of the pack. He's a bitcoin investor and I like the fact that he's devoting his success and future success of investing to bitcoin to God. We tell people to buy bitcoin and this guy isn't different from the other people that we tell it, although the difference is that he's got that iq and we'll no longer have hard time discussing bitcoin on him because he's already in.

I’ve been in Bitcoin for a while and honestly the highest IQ angle doesn’t move me at all. Intelligence alone doesn’t make someone rich or right, there are plenty of geniuses who went broke because they ignored risk or timing. Going all-in on any asset.

For me the lesson here isn’t copy what the smartest man does, but do your own research, manage your risk and stay consistent. I like Bitcoin, I believe in its future, but I only use money I can afford to leave for years. That’s what helps me sleep at night. High IQ or not, no one can predict the next black swan or government policy shift.

IQ is a measure of a person's ability to think, reason, and solve problems. Having a high IQ does not mean it will help you know exactly what will happen in the future.

Having a high IQ does not mean you will definitely be rich because if you have a high IQ but do not have the investment mindset, vision or courage to take risks. You cannot expect to get rich from investing if you are not willing to take risks and challenges.

High IQ and finance or getting rich have nothing to do with each other because getting rich requires more factors than just intelligence.

Converting all his assets into bitcoin is a wise decision, because it cannot be affected by inflation over time the way other assets and currencies do, bitcoin can drive the result we wanted to an extent if we consider using it for our own benefits, being decentralized, we can invest and make more from it after the market rises, sell and reinvest again and then continue with the process repeatedly until we make more profits beyond expectations.

We only have a different risk here in BTC. BTC is high in volatility, so we can experience a quick drop in value. It is also digital so it is prone to scams and hacks. If we are weak in emotion, or lack in knowledge and experience, they can be real threat to us. As long as one is an asset, it should counter the inflation, so for me, I will not leave other assets and this is also another way of diversifying. Being decentralized sure has an advantage but we can as well earn big even on a centralized asset.

Nothing is perfect and I think even god is also not perfect. Indeed it's crazy that smart people are sometimes the dumbest. It can be due to their confidence thinking they know what they are doing but not at all times. There is nothing wrong in investing in BTC but I think doing all in's are never a smart move. We can get in right sometimes but we can get tempted of doing it again until one time our luck go sideways, so it's game over for us.

IQ of 276 I didnt think was even possible but IQ as a measure itself is questionable as people are far more convoluted in their abilities.  Its great he is positive but the statement is far too brief really.

Sure, I saw those same posts, and you’re right, it feels more like hype than genuine conviction.
Having a high IQ doesn’t automatically mean good judgment, especially in crypto where emotion, timing, and patience matter more than raw intelligence.
Bitcoin doesn’t reward who’s smartest, it rewards who’s consistent and understands risk. Let’s see if he can actually hold through the next bear market before calling it genius.

We can understand the thinking of people with high IQ, most of them think forward, not backward, so it is very natural for those with intelligent IQ to speculate that the price of Bitcoin in the future will increase drastically far from the current price.
