Male or female who contributes more in society

We all know that both man and woman has a vital role to play in the society although in different ways like contributing through ideas, works, developing and caring of the families and communities. It's said to be that men historically has been more visible in particular areas of society then women are seen as the backbone of the families, communities and the economy  even when they're not recognised, we move forward as a society When we embrace both equally.

Because in today's society  women are now major players of politics,in the aspect of education, healthcare, business and technology while men involve in caregiving and responsible for the home. That balance shows that the contribution is not actually measured by gender but how both individuals impact to the society. There is this saying that goes "that what men can do women can do better"
So I want to know should we ask ourselves regardless of how the society succeeds more when we determine who does more or when both genders are valued equally for the special roles they play.

For me, everyone is playing their role in any way they can and it's good that women are picking up to also meet up with men, so that Incase the men are not around they can replace them.
And for the growth of the society it's good for everyone to join hands together and make the society a better one for everyone to be comfortable with it.

Because males and females are fully co-dependent that question doesn't really make a of sense. Women contribute the men, and the men contribute the women. So on a holistic level, the contributions are almost entirely equal.

Maybe don't base your opinions on sayings. This isn't a competition but cooperation, even though men have oppressed women a lot under their submission and it's really hard to cooperate when other sex makes rules for both of them.

Men are builders, hunters, fighters, so it feels like we do "more" but we couldn't do it without women.

I know that from experience and I sometimes fall into that trap when I do work around the house and it's sometimes hard work, like digging a ditch for electric cables to light up the garden, or paving the driveway and I come home all sweaty and tired and my wife is on the phone watching youtube and I'm about to say something when I see that dinner is ready and waiting for me. So it might feel like we're not equal, but we don't have to be. We wouldn't be able to do the things we do without support from the opposite sex.

This is a never ending discussion about who contributes more, what gender is superior and inferior. Let's all settle that both has great contributions in our society. We have to let go of the standard of whoever created that because both men and women are doing great not for themselves and whoever looks up to them but for their family. Let's say some are doing it for themselves but no one cares about that. What they do is for them to show the world that men or women can do things with what they are great at. I don't think I agree with you fully because saying that it's "irrelevant" on who contributes more feels somehow unfair, the truth is that wheather men , women or nonbinary people as you said leaves a strong influence in the society. Women most importantly have not recently become independent they've been overcoming obstacles for years, balancing responsibilities at home and in their career while pushing against stereotypes.
That isn't exaggeration rather it's strength and progress. All of them contribute we know but what I'm saying is that their sacrifices and progress deserves to be recognised and should not be brushed aside as assumptions.

But these strong, independent women existed all the time not just in 2025, if we go back to 1600 there will be some and if we go back to the Clopatra period there will be some but the numbers are increasing which is great and it became possible with the help of revolutionaized men too, if men didn't share the responsibilities with her then they may not be able to achieve the great heights and the same applies to vice versa.

In some traditional practicing society they value male because of linage continuity and protection. Both men and women are important to the functioning of society. There is no need to compare both of them since they complement each other and shouldn't compete. Men are extraordinary hard workers who ensure that the family is well taken care of. While the women are special because their unique quality to raise children and take care of the home. But it seems like mothers have greater influnece on children than the men. So we can assume that mothers have more influnce in the socety than men.

I agree about that, everyone has their great contribution to the society. I just don't know with people when gender topics are being placed, they become so aggressive that they have to protect one and the other. I have no problems being said that women have greater contributions in the society, I won't be triggered and start the argument. Because even as a male, I don't think that there is a need to get angry with when both genders have their own respective contributions to the economy and the society that we're living in.

Equity over equality. I don’t like the idea of measuring men to women, this is not ideal and if the world was like that from onset, we may not have come this far. Men are still the backbones regardless of whatever happens. We are in a society where everyone wants to showcase their best self and the worth to which they can achieve in a global competitive world but that does not make rating women as equal to men. That saying that says “what men can do women can do better” is really a big fat decisive words which of all women decide to have that mindset, there will be problems evolving from it.

 Men have their limits and so does women. Women can work in a place where men are and share ideas like every other person, but there are some certain tasks that fits and can be done by the men well much more better than the women. I respect and value women, but seeing themselves being raised to the standard of men is not interesting and if the world is built on that, there will be catastrophe of it in the future.

Well I do think there is some males and some females that does make a better contribution in our society.  Each one can be better in some role then the other.
But I do think for most part it is the man that does make more money.  It is well known that men to have higher paying jobs.
Even if a man is not better at some job he will make more money. I do not think that is right way but I do think it is how it is in the world.

All genders have their own way of contributing to the society so we shouldn't be doing a comparison between the two gender. I believe it is inappropriate to do so. Considering the fact that women multiply by giving birth, mot women multiply the finances of their partner. They also work in private companies, have their own business and take good care of the home. While the men, provides in all aspect, in the society they create opportunities both business wise and skill wise. Every little thing we do as human, gives more to the community. Both males & females contribute to society in different but equally important ways. Men have historically taken on roles in building infrastructure, defence & leadership while women have been central to raising families, education & healthcare. In modern times both genders share responsibilities across all fields. Measuring “more” is unfair because society relies on a balance of strengths. What makes up a society are men and women. You can remove any of them from the equation based on their importance, because in a given society where you don't find the contributions of both males and females, you know that the society is incomplete, something significant is missing.

What I am trying to say is that the male and female are the ones who make up society, and their contributions(big or small) in society are highly appreciated and accepted because without both coming together to make ends meet in society and to form a society, there won't be positive growth in the society that we talk about today.

Men contributes more to the society than women. Politically men tend to occupy the sensitive positions than women. Again cultural hindrances also hinder women from contributing more to the society. Religion also is another barrier hindering the women from contributing to the society.  Again inferiority complex also is another barrier to the women so all these things hindering the women and favouring the men, men tend to contribute more to the society.
