Wow huge amount of money, seeing this news just made me remember that there was a time having this amount of Bitcoin was not a big deal because it was very low in price For most of 2010, Bitcoin traded between $0.01 and $0.39 and In early 2011, Bitcoin finally reached $1 for the first time which was around February 2011, as of 2011 having that amount of Bitcoin won't be a big deal and people won't see it as a serious crime because of how low it is, but right now it is a serious crime because of how big Bitcoin has become, in the next 20 years Bitcoin will become more bigger so those who want to succeed in the future should take Bitcoin investment very serious don't make the mistake that other made.

You seem to fail in understanding that Biggest Bitcoin Seizur in bitcoin amount, not in fiat currency value. With Bitcoiners and Bitcoin maximalists, they look at bitcoins, how much bitcoins in a hack, a seizure, not its equivalent value in fiat currency at the time of hack or seizure. What was stolen, was seized is bitcoins, not fiat currency. For example. Hacked Exchanges since 2011List of Major Bitcoin Heists, Thefts, Hacks, Scams, and Losses

I most really say how the years pass time historically bitcoin prices was truly remarkable at that time just as you have stated as of 2010 it was traded at $0.01 and was then traded at $0.39 and later reached at hit a good record of $1 which was a significant milestone to bitcoin investors at a time, also it price over the years made people to think it was a crime, those investors that invested in it also could tell the story at that time and the funny part of it is that we still believe it will still grow rapidly as time pass by.

Crime doesn't pay indeed, the heads of those that she scam is sending karma let and right, this is one thing about stealing the hard earned money that belong to other people, some of the victims you robbed have strong spirit, they will haunt you and push you to make stupid decision, she left her country and move into another and still get caught.
The question now is what the government will use this Bitcoin for, seize is been done, are they going to hard to their treasure or return back to the victims? I hope those who own these Bitcoin will get them back, that is likely from people who have shed tears and blood to accumulate those Bitcoin.

it's always impressive to see such news about huge seize. it seems impressive that a single person/ group has stolen this amount... Since this is a critical huge mass of coins... who take it? Uk or China government? What do they plan to do at this point? Using back for creditors/people scammed? Flooding the market at a certain point?

Uk or China government? What do they plan to do at this point? Using back for creditors/people scammed? Flooding the market at a certain point? Both countries might go after that huge stash of Bitcoin, as it was said in the article that UK wanted to maintain it, Some reports have suggested the UK government will seek to retain the seized funds.
https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cy0415kk3rzoBut want's important is that they should at least get it back to the victims and put the suspect in jail for good. She might be willing to cooperate with the British government as the Chinese government justice system is harsh and she could be in jail for the rest of his natural life. As compare to British government that if she cooperated, her jail time might reduced to 10-20 years in prison.

The seizures aren't my issues but rather the government should be able to create a platform that would enable the real owners of the assets that were stolen before the government's intervention to be able to claim their back their stolen assets of it would be possible. Those assets are peoples sweat their struggle, they bought it with their hard earned money to invest in Crypto but the unfortunate happened to them which they never envisaged. It's not all about seizing assets but the real owners should be able to get them back.

This isn't the biggest one yet, I am guessing that this is the biggest one that you've heard about so far, you need to type that question in a search engine and you will be filled with wow, this number is likely the smaller one.
Now I am more concern about the next thing to do with the Bitcoin, the UK government should return them to those who was scammed, it will boost their reputation and confidence, I hope they will consider this option rather than adding the Bitcoin to their country reserve.
I think the latter could eventually play out, government have been the biggest robbin hood that I know, they will claim that they can't find the proper information about the rightful victim so it is impossible to return, no one steals more than the government.

Ok we only see this report, but she has a accomplished who laundered the money by buying properties, the name of here accomplished is, Jian Wen, and she was caught already. https://www.cps.gov.uk/cps/news/ex-takeaway-worker-ordered-pay-back-ps31m-after-money-laundering-convictionAdrian Foster, Chief Crown Prosecutor said: “The CPS and the Metropolitan Police have successfully brought Jian Wen to justice. Wen is a sophisticated money launderer who laundered many millions of the proceeds of crime. We have today secured a Confiscation Order against her of more than £3.1m, which she must pay within 3 months or risk being returned to prison for an additional sentence of seven years. And according to that report, they have confiscated the money and perhaps that money could have return back to the victims already.

The biggest issue here which goes under the radar is that lawyers and liquidation firms will be enriching themselves at the expense of the victims by draining the estate with all sorts of legal wrangling to make themselves appear pious and acting in the interest of society

Question is what are they going to do with 61,000 seized Bitcoin, but they could sell them and crash the price or wait. I am not sure if this amount of BTC is already counted or not, but UK is in third place (after USA and China) according to this website: https://bitbo.io/treasuries/countries/

Probably stolen on the early days of bitcoin, there were so many ponzis out there and the worth of that bitcoin isn't as huge as it is now. In regard to giving it back to the victims, I guess victims can request for release of their asset if that assets were to be seized. If it's in china, i don't really know .

Additionally, do you have any information that backs your saying "It's the biggest bitcoin seizure"? Honestly I am really doubtful that your saying is not backed by any data and it's inaccurate information from you. The 5 Biggest Bitcoin Seizures in HistoryShe is in fact on that list, just not in first place. She would be #3 in Bitcoin terms. Also on the list is early forum user Loaded, also known as Jimmy Zhong. Yeah I actually saw a documentary about him on Youtube. Its pretty interesting since I've been posting here for 10 years and ive never heard of Loaded until I saw the documentary. I wonder if he regrets what he did. I think when he found that exploit and took advantage, I didnt think he actually wanted to steal all those funds but started and couldnt stop. And him getting caught is one reason why you cant be too careful. His one slip-up is how he got caught by sending that transaction. Eventually if you do something without thinking you can make a big mistake, which I dont think he knew until it was too late. Go watch the documentary if you have some time. Just like the Silk Road bust, its pretty interesting into Bitcoins history.

That's a lot of money and it's bad these guys defrauded people of such amounts, although not up to this as at the time of stealing it. I'm curious if during the compensation people would get exactly the same quantity that was stolen from them or would the government get wise and return just the equivalent of what was stolen from investors and pocket the rest?

They would definitely want to pocket everything. What's going from such operations is going to be sold by some laws in some countries, and only then put back to work again..
