You seem to fail in understanding that Biggest Bitcoin Seizur in bitcoin amount, not in fiat currency value.

With Bitcoiners and Bitcoin maximalists, they look at bitcoins, how much bitcoins in a hack, a seizure, not its equivalent value in fiat currency at the time of hack or seizure. What was stolen, was seized is bitcoins, not fiat currency.

I most really say how the years pass time historically bitcoin prices was truly remarkable at that time just as you have stated as of 2010 it was traded at $0.01 and was then traded at $0.39 and later reached at hit a good record of $1 which was a significant milestone to bitcoin investors at a time, also it price over the years made people to think it was a crime, those investors that invested in it also could tell the story at that time and the funny part of it is that we still believe it will still grow rapidly as time pass by.

Both countries might go after that huge stash of Bitcoin, as it was said in the article that UK wanted to maintain it,

But want's important is that they should at least get it back to the victims and put the suspect in jail for good. She might be willing to cooperate with the British government as the Chinese government justice system is harsh and she could be in jail for the rest of his natural life. As compare to British government that if she cooperated, her jail time might reduced to 10-20 years in prison.

The seizures aren't my issues but rather the government should be able to create a platform that would enable the real owners of the assets that were stolen before the government's intervention  to be able to claim their back their stolen assets of it would be possible. Those assets are peoples sweat their struggle, they bought it with their hard earned money to invest in Crypto but the unfortunate happened to them which they never envisaged. Now I am more concern about the next thing to do with the Bitcoin, the UK government should return them to those who was scammed, it will boost their reputation and confidence, I hope they will consider this option rather than adding the Bitcoin to their country reserve.

I think I remember something about this story from last year, and I am sure they had insiders who tracked her for a long time.
Question is what are they going to do with 61,000 seized Bitcoin, but they could sell them and crash the price or wait.

Probably stolen on the early days of bitcoin, there were so many ponzis out there and the worth of that bitcoin isn't as huge as it is now.

In regard to giving it back to the victims, I guess victims can request for release of their asset if that assets were to be seized. If it's in china, i don't really know .

Yeah I actually saw a documentary about him on Youtube. Its pretty interesting since I've been posting here for 10 years and ive never heard of Loaded until I saw the documentary.

I wonder if he regrets what he did. I think when he found that exploit and took advantage, I didnt think he actually wanted to steal all those funds but started and couldnt stop. And him getting caught is one reason why you cant be too careful. His one slip-up is how he got caught by sending that transaction.

Eventually if you do something without thinking you can make a big mistake, which  I dont think he knew until it was too late. Go watch the documentary if you have some time. Just like the Silk Road bust, its pretty interesting into Bitcoins history.

I saw this and immediately thought of how crazy the lady looked haha. I also thought how much dang money thst is and man it sure is crazy. I can imagine having that much coin and it sure would take me a long time to figure out what to do with all that dough haha

That's a lot of money and it's bad these guys defrauded people of such amounts, although not up to this as at the time of stealing it. I'm curious if during the compensation people would get exactly the same quantity that was stolen from them or would the government get wise and return just the equivalent of what was stolen from investors and pocket the rest?

What's going from such operations is going to be sold by some laws in some countries, and only then put back to work again..
