Overtime all this year's I have been made to believe that money is the root of all evil.
But is actually a miss quote, right now with my research I have been able to note that money is not actually the root of all evil,

In the book of( first TIMOTHY 6 V 10) It says for the love of money is all kinds of evil.
Now the subject matter here is money but the problem is not money.

The problem is human having so much excessive desires for money, money is actually neutral you can choose on how to get it either by positives way or by negative way it all depends on you.

So you all we agree with me that money is not the root of all evil, but human desire, greed and love for money is.

There is a saying that says "Don't let money control us, try to control money" means money is indeed the root of everything on this planet, But if we can use money in places proper, not on evil, of course the money will be something positive for every human being.

Money itself isn’t the root of all evil it’s just a tool. The real problem is greed & how people use money. Some chase it so much they hurt others, lie or cheat to get more. At the same time money can do good like feeding families or funding schools. So it’s not money that’s evil, it’s the choices people make with it.

I dislike it when a lot of people always misquote that part of the Bible. It never said money is the root of all evil, it clearly says the love of money. Money itself is just a tool, it is neutral, you can use it for good or for bad depending on your heart and intentions.
The real problem is when people let greed and obsession for money control their actions, that is where evil comes in. Money can build, money can destroy, but it all depends on how we choose to handle it.

I agree with you bro, money is not the root for evil, it is the excessive desire, it is not about money only, it is about everything, as if you want to acquire anything in excessive amounts, you do everything in excess, and you will adopt evil ways.

I won't say love for money is what drives people crazy, because if I don't have love for money, for the things I won't be making any effort but if I will have excess love for anything, even if that is money we will do evil things to get more. In short, we should avoid the lust for anything.

As for me I don't believe that money is the root of all evil,  if it is why then do we all go to work and earn salary when we don't like evil coming around us which we all can not do without. There is nothing wrong about money but the love of it is the root of all evil from my own point of view. The development of much love for money is the reasons behind corruption and every other things associated to it although people find it difficult differentiating between the love of money and money itself,  you may have money but don't love it because once special interest is attached to money it can lead a part of know return at last

And the desire problem you are citing? It is always the trait of the modern civilization. Modern economies need endless desire to operate. When everyone became content with enough at once, we would declare recession and rescue the wanting with monetary policy. Exactly, the love for money and in short that's greed. That destroys human beings when they start to show greediness. Money is essential and we need it for daily living unless you've got a farm of resources and you don't need to go to supermarkets and pay your bills with money. But that might be for special cases and for the majority of us, money is important. Some might even say that it is their everything and I will not argue and laugh at them. Because in real life, I've talked to people with the same principles and saw their situations of how bad their status of living and the only way to get out of those problems is by having money.

Definitely bible didn't make any mistake when it says that the love of money is the Root of all evil. People often remove the part that's say "the love of money" rather they just turn it to "money is the root of all evil" changing the meaning from it intended meaning. Why this bible portion says the love of money is the root of all evil is just simply the excess desire for money by man can lead to doin evil. Money isn't root of all evil. The evil is the human themselves who are greedy, this feels like we are blaming a tool, created to simplify trade by human because we will blame anything but ourselves.

Well there is alot of people that will do evil things to make some money. I do think it is why they do say this.
But there is also alot of people that has money and they are good people. People that does good things for people that does need their help.
If these rich people did not have alot of money well then they could not help others. So I do not think it is root of all evil but it does make some people greedy and bad people.
