In the President’s Independence Day Speech he made a lot of sayings claiming that his tough policies at the beginning have yielded results in Manufacturing sector, educational sector and Security

This statement or speech by the President indicates that he’s living in another reality from the rest of the country.

The people are still suffering, Prices are still going up, alot of insecurities in the Nation and yet the President’s address claims he has resolved or reduced these. It’s either he’s not getting the right feedback from his advisors, Ministers and aides or he’s oblivious to the blight of the Nation and doesn’t care, he just comes out to say what he feels like.

Similar thing happened when he proclaimed there was a crisis in Rivers State that warranted State of Emergency, all the things that were listed as offences or acts of terrorism and violence in the state were all false. Where do we go from here?

This was the worst Independence Day ever, there were no celebrations anywhere or even the normal green and white we normally see in the streets, nobody was even wishing each other happy independence cause there’s nothing to be happy about.

That is indeed a good vision for Nigerian now that we are facing difficult moment and tinubu who is interested in building self wealth is busy making  fake promises him and his administration can not fufill. Sincerely speaking, this is so heartbreaking to see the separation between leaders and its people. Citizens struggle daily to survive and it seems as if there is no hope at all. We all deserve transparency and compassion not blank promises every time. All these changes can only exist or come to pass by addressing and paying attention to citizen essentials needs with honesty. We are tired of rhetoric words without results, government should coordinate people’s needs to restore their trust. Until something is done about this current situation, patriotic delight will be overshadowed by hardships and frustrations.
