The root cause of some challenges faced by most society today is unemployment, its clear that an idol man can easily become the devils workshop because he or she can easily be manipulated by unimaginable things. Living in a country where the unemployment rate is high is the same as living in a unsecured environment, know matter how good they may be one thing can change there life to bad as they can not live an independent life based on the fact that they can not provide for themselves when they are in need. In other to make an environment conducive we most work towards eradicating u employment
There are many reasons for youth unemployment besides government failure or weak policies. Many skilled people are left behind because they cannot pay bribes or refuse to become part of corruption. they are forced to accept ordinary jobs that do not match their qualifications. After spending a lot on education, they still have to prepare money for bribery just to secure a job. When merit is ignored society suffers greatly. Bribery weakens the market system and causes serious damage to the economy. Therefore, besides improving government policies to reduce unemployment, there is a strong need to take strict action against corruption and provide equal opportunities

This issue of unemployment is really a major economic problem in the world today but there are countries doing very well and have people employed. The problem that leads to unemployment are always majorly civil unrest and bad leadership, if only some governments can be corruption and embezzlement free and become people capital development centered, and also focus on industrialization and local developmental sector building, you will see unemployment will reduce rapidly. So I would say the government needs to do more.

Quest for self-centered wealth will never allow some leaders change there mentality when it has to do will doing the right thing at the right time. Especially in some countries in Africa, our leaders prioritise what they intend to archive to why they where elected into office if not why won't Africa become a habitable place for citizens.

For example in Nigeria before the independent, Nigeria's GDP was approximately around $4.2 billions and was generated per capital in agricultural products while that of china was in know where compared to there's but now because the Chinese introduced a fight against corruption starting from 1970 till date, there GDP has gained momentum and transformed to x 10 of Nigeria's GDP because the Nigerian government priorities corruption over good life. Until this so called selfishness and self-centered leaders are removed from power the same way Burkina Faso did to there government there won't to employment for the youths and constantly there will be conflict because an idol man is a devils workshop

Youth unemployment is definitely a time bomb and very disastrous to any economy,  because It's very bad to keep youths that are qualified and eligible to work unemployed. Like they say an idle mind is the devils workshop, when this youth don't have anything to keep them busy, their mind tends to wonder about and most of them tends to turn to crime which will later affect the society. The truth is no one can survive in this world without money and they only way you can make money is to engage in a job, because that's the way the system has programmed it, but if this youth don't get employed they turn to crime to survive. I am not supporting them for turning into crime, so the government needs to do more in getting this youth employed,  so we can have a better society.

Well, the problem lies there. Namely, maybe mismanagement by the government or the excessive amount of state funds that are corrupted by the government itself. because every country has its own strengths. Some have abundant oil reserves, while others have strengths in technology or agriculture. However, I personally sometimes feel very surprised at the extent of corruption committed by them, which makes the lives of their people very uncertain. Let alone building companies and providing jobs, sometimes even building infrastructure relies on money borrowed from other countries, which will only worsen the country's economic condition in the future if the infrastructure built does not generate anything in the future. This condition occurs in many countries. but what is clear is that now the people can no longer expect help from their government. we must be self-reliant and build wealth for ourselves and our families. The growing number of unemployed will also make everything more competitive. Our task is to become more adaptable and have an edge over others. That is the only way out.

As policymakers, the government's role is crucial in solving this problem, and this is truly their responsibility. However, human resources must also be improved first, as this can also facilitate access to employment.

The problem, however, in my own country, is that too many individuals, both government and civil servants, sometimes exploit this. Just imagine, an applicant has to pay a substantial amount of money to be accepted into a particular company, and the amount is astronomical. Considering the minimum wage, the applicant is being asked for the equivalent of three-quarters of a month's work. Absolutely insane.

Politicians after helping the youths from political homes would think the gestures have gone round to all the young people in the society. The system which they introduced to the masses wasn't favorable to the youths whose parents are not official politicians. Opportunities circulates round the elite families, whoever deserves or wants to be employed amongst them gets the signature. Only a few number of graduates get employed into nice offices. The rest gets abandoned to fight their way to the top with any form of tool available.

Unfortunately, some would go for the wrong side; crime. Where the government would nab and lock them up, the system was designed to get more youths into prison than offices.

Another name for politician is "injustice, lies". And they usually rule by the name that they are bearing. They will possibly do everything in order to maintain their positions, and what they can not do in order to secure their position does not exist. They are a lot graduate that are unable to secure a better job after graduating from college or university. Government are only creating good job opportunities for their friends and loved ones. A lot of educated people or graduates are lacking the opportunity to grow and be the best version of themselves. The system of government is killing their skills and experiences.

That is a common thing with the leaders in the government, they're best in giving promising.
But, they're worst in keeping it and that's why each country have the same sentiment with their leaders.
The youth are also having trouble with how they're going to keep in competition against the adults.
There is a way to survive this hardship and that's being an outstanding candidate against the others through being skilled.

This is just the truth and it is really a serious matter. All the countries that Nigeria was 10x better before our independent and few years after independence, are now 10x better than us. Just take a look at China, India, Singapore, and you will see how corruption and bad governance has really done to Nigeria as a nation  Cry

Even as backward as Nigeria is there leaders are not even interested in rewriting there wrongs, instead they are constantly working tirelessly for what they stand to gain and not how to make things right. Imagine how the ex CBN governor of Nigeria used all available strategies just to steal and hide public funds with hope of becoming the richest man in Nigeria, if i may ask what do they stand to gain after destroying the blessed nation all because of greed and selfishness when we all know evil never last forever

Unemployment is one major Macro-economic problem that affects both developed and developing economies. It carries a dangerous threat that can become disastrous in the future.
A lot of eligible young adults have accumulated certification to carry out employable opportunities, and that number continues to increase posing more pressure, and also an increase in crime rate, including cyber crime, as a result of a vast number being unemployed.
Little wonder writers describe unemployment for youths as a time bomb waiting to explode.

Does governments need to do more, or have these unemployed youths failed to adapt?

Youth unemployment is highly variable across countries but many governments are actually making it much harder to employ them. By pushing up the minimum wage, the reward to liability ratio drops - companies decide that it's easier just to go with retirees or anyone else because there is little difference in price, but older generations might be more likely to show up. The real time bomb that is ticking is artificial intelligence and how many jobs it will wipe out. Anyone that has played around with it just a little could understand the power and usefulness that it could be applied towards, if crafted in the right way. It can outperform many designers now and takes very little time to produce content. Same with coding, as long as the person requesting it knows how to trouble shoot it can replace the skills of several people. Imagine this being applied across vast swathes of industry, lots of jobs can be lost that may not be replaced quickly.

This condition is common in underdeveloped regions where corruption, collusion and nepotism are still unavoidable.

Unemployment that occurs does still have a share of the government, but on the one hand when talking about a state that is already quite damaged, in this case the community factor and its human resources can also take a role here.
My country is now quite chaotic with a government that is not good enough and the dominant effect is clearly targeting many things including employment which makes unemployment very much even though they are academic graduates and have high degrees. But for now I will also not fully blame my government for the full situation felt today because there are currently a lot of complicated factors when the people also have a poor mindset when indirectly they also follow what their government does and resources in terms of IQ and EQ which are indeed quite lacking also make this a chaotic situation which in the end they cannot get a job because apart from their games that have a big influence this also refers to the qualifications of job seekers who are not qualified.

However, finding a government that truly wants to develop its people and its country is so rare today, especially in developing countries. most leaders only care about power and wealth, they don't care whether their people are employed or whether their wages are sufficient, as long as they have money and power, nothing else matters to them.

so it is not surprising that so many countries, even though they have so many resources and people ready to be managed, are unable to turn that potential into prosperity, because their leaders are incompetent and their people continue to be made stupid in order to become tools that can be used to carry out their power.

Yes unemployment is a common problem in every country, it is most likely there. In my country the problem is often with poorly performing leadership, they are only concerned with themselves when they are in the position they want, by initially promising welfare for the community but it is all not proven after they reach their targets, this really seems to have become a tradition in my country.

Regardless of any problems that arise domestically, the government must be the first to take responsibility because they are the leader of the country. The government need to take responsibility for the current youth unemployment rate. However, if we look at the global economic picture, we will see that there are things that are sometimes beyond the control of government.

For example, Trump's trade war has significantly damaged businesses in most countries that rely heavily on exports. Or the development of AI and global instability are causing demand to decline...All of these factors are also leading causes of unemployment.
Unemployment is a pressing issue in most countries and has many causes. Therefore, the government should not be blamed entirely.

I don't quite understand what you mean by improving human resources to facilitate access to employment, but after I looked it up, is this what you mean?

And with the down payment that must be paid when going to enter or join a company it is also a thing that happens in my country, some companies are like this but some do use it there are those who really have to pay first.

I agree with the position of the government as the leader of the country and its responsibility to address concerns related to youth employment issues. The government develops/creates policies and provides opportunity and direction for solutions with respect to this issue. However, we should be aware of the fact that some aspects of this issue cannot be controlled solely by the government (for example: global economic shifts or international crises). While the government must take a leading and accountable role, it must also recognize that challenges cannot be solved by governments on a pure domestic basis. Therefore, when discussing responsibilities, we should recognize both the government's role to lead, and the limitations imposed on government action from larger, external forces.

For example, Trump's trade war has significantly damaged businesses in most countries that rely heavily on exports. Or the development of AI and global instability are causing demand to decline...All of these factors are also leading causes of unemployment.

You hit the nail on the head when you said there is almost never a single cause for unemployment. For example, events like Trump's trade war will undoubtedly hurt a lot of companies that depend on exporting goods, while artificial intelligence (AI), as well as global instability resulting from various issues, can reduce demand for a lot of goods and services and greatly disrupt entire industries. These broad global trends and forces affect virtually every country on earth and therefore cannot fairly be laid at the feet of one particular government. Of course, governments have an obligation to support their workforce and provide employment opportunities for citizens; however, we must also recognize the existence of these many global issues. Therefore, in order to successfully solve issues related to unemployment in the future, both domestic policy and global trends must be considered equally, and not solely at the expense of one particular party.

That's more or less it. Furthermore, companies need employees who are competent in their fields, which will help the company grow. However, what happens in my country, especially, is that those in key positions are sometimes incompetent, and there are actually many better people in those positions.
I once worked in a company, and frankly, the boss relied heavily on his subordinates. He held that position only because he was related to a high-ranking official.
Furthermore, competition for jobs is now fierce, so if human resources aren't healthy, they won't be able to compete with those who are better prepared.

Geopolitical instability can exacerbate the situation, as many businesses face significant risks due to losses and layoffs. This, in turn, leads to increased unemployment. Rising unemployment and crime rates have numerous negative impacts.

Governments wield significant power and influence, and leaders must find solutions to maintain stability. This is no easy feat when facing tense situations across the globe. The global economy is highly dependent on political situations, so heads of government must unite and prevent further complications.

It's undeniable that unemployment is a problem in every country. Unemployment is a ticking time bomb for the national economy and with unemployment, crime rates also increase. While we shouldn't rely on the government for jobs not everyone has the skills to survive independently they need the government. Therefore, the government plays a significant role in addressing unemployment as it has policies and regulations. The problem is many officials and leaders ignore this issue and continue to enrich themselves through corruption or create policies that are detrimental to their citizens.

If the government isn't present young people despite their high spirits will face opportunities that never come. They wake up each morning with new hopes but go to bed each night with the same sense of failure. Yet, young people aren't lazy they're struggling in a world where the government is blocking opportunities for growth. The state should intervene and prevent young people from being trapped in unemployment. Reducing unemployment in every country means the government is investing in the country's progress and improving the economy.
