Hey everyone,

I recently finished a small side project called SatsForStats.

https://talkimg.com/images/2025/10/03/UGQ56Z.png

It’s a simple, free tool that lets you enter your BTC or sats and instantly see:

  • Milestone progress (how close you are to the next round number)
  • Scarcity equivalence (~1 in every N sats that will ever exist)
  • Percentile vs non-zero Bitcoin addresses (based on distribution snapshots)

It’s purely for fun and educational purposes — no ads, no monetization, no data collection.

I just thought it would be cool to visualize stacks like this.

Would love your feedback! Do you think tools like this are helpful for stackers?

Update (Oct 5): Added light/dark mode support

Easy and straightforward, it's good that you come out with something like this. There are other similar tools like this, but it's another option to choose from.
It's better to have a day or light mode option for users for easy reading, that is, if you can install that option.

Thanks a lot for the kind words and for the merit, much appreciated!
Glad you liked the tool, I’ll definitely look into adding a light/dark mode toggle for better readability.

This project was more of an introduction, just the beginning of what I’d like to build.
Out of curiosity, what other tools or stats do you think would be useful for Bitcoiners? I’d love to improve this one and maybe build something new based on what the community finds interesting.

Good work. A good and simple educational tool.
It could be useful for beginners to teach them some basic concepts related to Bitcoin, Satoshi, scarcity, etc.
But I don't understand what you mean by :
Quote
"Milestone progress (how close you are to the next round number)."
I don't understand what exactly you mean?

Thanks a lot for the merit and feedback!

About the milestone progress, it just measures how close you are to the next predefined stack level.
I manually set a few round-number milestones like:

1,000 • 10,000 • 100,000 • 1,000,000 • 10,000,000 • 100,000,000 • 1,000,000,000 • 10,000,000,000 sats

So for example, if you hold 75,000 sats, you’re 75% of the way between 10,000 and 100,000 sats.

When your title included the word "compare", I was hoping to see stats from other users.  Any chance you can anonymize and rank?

Thanks for the feedback! I like the idea of anonymous rankings to compare stacks, but the big issue is data integrity. Without verification, someone could just claim 2M BTC and ruin the stats. Even with address signing, most people’s BTC is spread across wallets and exchanges, so it’s never fully accurate.

If you have a better approach than mine, I am all ears.

Implemented a light/dark theme toggle (auto-remembers your choice). Feedback from this thread inspired it, appreciate the suggestion!

Would love your feedback! Do you think tools like this are helpful for stackers?
I think such tools can motivate them a little bit more, so to an extent, it's useful [it could be better if users had the option to set different milestones for themselves (an automated tracking would've been nice, but the trade-offs aren't worth it)].
- BTW, how often will the snapshots be updated for the "percentile vs addresses" section?

Thanks! Yeah, custom milestones would be a nice touch, I’ll look into that later on. For now, the percentile snapshot is updated a couple of times per week, but I might automate it in the future.

Nice little project, but I think the name could be a bit misleading.
I was expecting to see a lot more stats, especially for coins based on specific bitcoin address.

Maybe add average age of coins, or how many coins didn't move for a long time.
