Will it be appropriate to talk about Russian leader in Indian board? I don't think most of us will be interested in what's going on in Russia as we all are busy watching politics in India. But yes, to answer your question, Putin might have a James Bond like personality :p. Modi has good relations with Putin so it makes India one of the friends with Russia. This might be the only reason why I would read a bit about him or else I would have no interest in learning about Putin.

It was full on vibes and potentially passed on right msz in different corners of the world but from the defence POV didn't look much productive to me.

Feels like both countries deliberately avoided any big ticket defence deal announcement or maybe they are working on some deal in closed door meetings? Idk..

Tbh I think the “legendary” label comes more from branding than results. He’s great at optics and control, but Russia’s economy and demographics haven’t exactly thrived under him. Handling crises by force works short-term, but it usually creates bigger problems later. Bond personality sells well, but outcomes matter more.

i think he is a great leader he knows what he wants and how to get it even if this mean being seen globally as improper individual. Putin is showing the world Russia's strength and restoring their influence globally while bringing stability to his people. As for james bond personality i can definitely see the thought process Smiley

This is what I like about Putin, he is not hot headed like President Donald trump. He does his things strategically. I think the narrative that the western world have giving Putin is quiet bad. I don't he  has caused trouble as much as that is the United States and it's nato alies.
Russia wasn't economically great before, but putin put the country in a great direction.
