How about those writing just to destroy the credibility of one casino? Or if someone has been paid by one casino to write negative write up against their competitors. Did you consider this too?

I am not satisfied with the answers to this question, and I may add that there are players who simply want to create negative reviews in an attempt to get even with the casino for losing. In contrast, review sites like Askgamblers and Bitcointalk allow representatives to address the issue. Do you have this option, or will you allow the representative to correct the accusations?

We have discovered numerous baseless accusations in the scam section of Bitcointalk. How are you going to address this issue?
And lastly, how will you sustain paying people for their reviews, and hosting costs money too?

Hi @coin-investor thanks for the reply.

Casinos will have the right to reply to reviews as well. Our complaints section will be player-voted, each case will be public, with evidence (and redacted personal info) posted, and the casino can respond and players vote on the outcome.

There will always be some bad actors when business reputations are involved, but if a player can verify they’ve actually played at the casino and confirm their X account as a real person, that’s already a big step forward, and much more than any other review site currently does. I’d love to implement blockchain-based verification like zk proofs eventually, but the practicality isn’t there yet.

I’m going to try my best to keep quality and legitimacy of reviews high as the platform success depends on it, and I’m open to any suggestions if you have some? maybe there’s something I haven’t considered.

As for monetization, you’re right, it’s taken countless hours to build and there are ongoing costs to keep it running. I make nothing from it right now but want to keep it unbiased, with no casino money or affiliate links, which hasn’t been done before. Once the platform gains traction, we’ll look at covering costs through non-gambling sponsors like VPN providers or security tools. As for paying for reviews it's not a long term plan, it's just to seed the platform initially and hopefully I gain some traction organically.

In one of the promotional thread you have escrowed an amount to a middleman service provider aka campaign manager and in your original thread you are asking for seed funding. I'm sorry but reasoning don't align here. If you are looking for a seed funding then how did you manage to fund an escrow with a service provider?
You yourself is the seed fund here. In my experience dev building a project have at a least 9-12 months of promotional funding ready with them.

I have approved 100+ user reviews in the last 2 weeks. However, reviews without proof of play or deposit, lacking substance, or showing signs of system abuse will not be approved. I'm not here to reward spam or fake submissions. We want to hear genuine player experiences that can help other gamblers choose where to play. If someone can’t provide proof or substance, their review won’t make it.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm trying my best to get through all but there is a massive amount of spam and reward abusers trying to game the system. So the manual review is necessary, I've already added fraud detection tools to the system so we can identify these submission. Hopefully smoother for genuine players.

When reviewers include promo codes or write about what the casino is offering rather than what their own personal experience was on the casino. I just want real players sharing how things actually went for them, not copy pasted marketing stuff.

I’ve thought about that too. I think the old reviews should stay up so people can see the history, but players should be able to post an updated one later on. The newer review could either replace the old rating or just carry more weight. You shouldn’t get to erase your reputation, but you should have the chance to improve it.

I am afraid those screenshoots could be easily be faked and generated with the help of artificial intelligence, in order to push a narrative on your side in favor of some casinos with a shady reputation.

For example, what if the administration of a shady casino decided to start a shilling campaign on your website and started to pay people to leave fake reviews on your web, using screenshoots generated with AI tools?

I felt it was important to have a solid name for the site and think CoinBets captures it well. Yes it wasn't a free domain, for sure.

You’re right. AI generated screenshots are getting harder to spot. I'm already adding more verification and anti-fraud measures, but it’ll always be an ongoing battle. For crypto casinos specifically I can check on chain deposit and withdrawal proofs using txid, which make faking activity much tougher.

The trade off is that the more verification we require, the fewer players are willing to leave reviews, so I'm trying to find the right balance. It’s an evolving challenge, but I'll keep adapting and improving.

Right now, manual moderation and cross-checking are working well, but as AI improves I'll keep adapting verification requirements. Every review platform will face the same problem I guess, the goal is to try stay ahead  and keep the system as clean as possible.

You're welcome to leave some reviews, all we require is proof that you played there and leave a genuine reviews sharing your actual experience not an overview or casino description.

Working on the platform daily, player voted complaints will go live within 2-3 weeks time. If we can get enough players involved, I think the casinos will have to take notice.

I never played Betfury I heard some good things about them. But reading the reviews on coinbet is worrying.

BetFury has some great things going for it. But yeah, there are some serious issues there.

Really thinking about it, that's the same with most crypto casinos. There are really VERY few that I'd play at myself.

I'm not going to lie - I've been in the industry for a decade, and the lies and cynicism are incredible. If any other industry misrepresented things like online casinos - specifically offshore crypto casinos - they would be a public outcry. Just think about it. Its shocking.

It's not gambling itself I have a problem with (though I know a lot of people do), its more the way that crypto casinos very deliberately use the realities of today's world to stitch players up. Players are gambling three times. First on the actual games, then on if the casino will pay out or not, and all the while the crypto market volatility adds another layer.

I'm stoked to see a platform finally calling this stuff out. Calling a spade a spade.

If most players really understood what the user agreements meant, they wouldn't play anymore. The whole thing is riding off the coattails of the past. Today, between licensing rules and standard international financial agreements, virtually any crypto casino operator can (I usually does) have a legit sounding excuse to refuse to pay anything they don't want to.

Hang out on reddit, read Trustpilot, and try and filter out the fake, paid, and affiliate rubbish and what are you left with? Everyone complaining they can't withdraw.

Imagine if Amazon or Temu let people order stuff, and then told 90% of people they couldn't deliver to their region and they shouldn't of ordered in the first place (because it was up to them to figure it out), and cancelled their accounts and kept their money. 

It would be front page news everywhere. But this is EXACTLY what most crypto casinos are doing. And the worst thing? Their T&Cs give them the right to do it. Even worse, so many hide behind international financial rules and FATF BS to make it look like they are doing the world a service and fighting crime.

You couldn't make it up.

But I'm sure affiliates will pile in trying to justify stuff. Nah, it doesn't wash. I'm on the inside of the industry still. I see it. Everyone knows it. Its an open secret. Gambling isn't a scam per se. Neither is crypto. But 90%+ of crypto casinos are pulling a fast one on players using smoke and mirrors.

Anyway, rant over, but good for OP. Its about time someone had the guts to tell players how it really is.

Trustpilot is a scam review site if you ask me, if I have not experienced this myself, I wouldn't be saying this, I've gotten on that site, found services that had really good reputation due to the positive reviews they have, I trusted them with my money and at the end, it turned out a scam, I still experienced this on another platform and this is when I completely gave up and stopped using that site..

Couple of years later, I came across an exchange site that hired people which it happened that I was among, this exchange paid us $10 every week to post 3 positive reviews with 5 star rating on their Trustpilot page, this was when I realized that most of the companies with good reviews and a lot of 5 star ratings must have paid some people to give them such reviews and rating, this is why I will never trust any review on trust pilot.

Coinsbet actually sounds more like a casino, and I am surprised to learn it's a review site, good luck to their success anyway.
