Hey all,

I’ve been playing on crypto casinos for years -- from the good to the bad to the ugly. What I noticed was there were no good review sites to find out which casinos you can actually trust. Every single one is biased by affiliate links and casino money.

That’s why I started CoinBets.com — a player-run crypto casino review platform that doesn’t take a cent from casinos.
No affiliate links. No casino sponsorships. Just real players posting reviews.

The hope is I can build something valuable for players in a space that’s filled with bad actors.

You can view the platform here: www.coinbets.com

I’m still working on making the platform better and would love some feedback from other members.

💡 What makes CoinBets different:

-We deposit and play with our own crypto - no sponsored reviews.
-Every user review must include a verified screenshot.
-No casino funding, no hidden partnerships, no bias.

🎁 Want to Help Build It? Get Rewarded for Your Review

-We’re offering a $20 USDT thank-you for every verified player review (screenshot + short write-up).
-Once your review is verified by the team, we’ll send your reward directly.
Link: https://coinbets.com/community-review

DMs are open for feedback, and I’d really appreciate any reviews we can get as it’s a new platform. We need a bunch of honest player reviews so we can start influencing casino behavior.

Even a follow on X would help: https://x.com/coinbetscom

Thanks for reading,
– CB

edit: review was accepted very quickly, i made a mistake of not selecting the rating stars but they edited it and also fixed the ui that led to that.

Nice review that user can put an input about their experience on the casino. The main I’m looking on this feature is the evidence provided is not disclosed to the public for data validation.

We don’t know exactly who’s the one reviewing the review including the supporting evidence attached on it.

Maybe try to refer on forum scam accusation and use it as place for data validation for the evidence submitted on review. This way all review will be genuine since evidence is available for public viewing.

Thanks for the review @rohang

@Beparanf that’s a fair point. Right now, all evidence is verified manually but not displayed publicly unless they choose to display wins etc. Mainly to protect user privacy and prevent casinos from targeting reviewers.

We’re actually working on a system that automatically redacts personal details (like emails, wallet addresses, or account IDs) from screenshots before publishing. That way, the proof can be public and verifiable without exposing anyone’s private info.

This will be especially important once we roll out the complaint system, where players can vote on complaint resolutions. Redacted screenshots and evidence will be public so everything stays open and fair.

@betswift

We’re still a new platform and gradually adding more casinos. The only requirement is that it must be a crypto casino. If there’s enough community interest, we’ll add a full casino listing with details like which crypto is accepted, supported countries, and game providers etc

If it’s a smaller casino with limited activity, it still gets listed as a community-added casino. it’ll have its own page, user reviews, and discussion tab. If it gains interest or gets enough upvotes, we’ll upgrade it to a full detailed listing and add all the details.

Your plan is interesting! I’m visioning your service will have similarities to trustpilot but in your case you moderate it in a way that all review will be verified and credible.

So far you will have a hard time convincing forum members to trust your ratings immediately since all the evidence and review submitted is not in public which means this is on trust basis to your team that we don’t know the credibility.

I will bookmark for now your website. Good luck.

Just to add to this, how do you know that it's not a bot that are putting this reviews? What kind of filters are you using or do you have a system in place to know that it is a real person that are writing this reviews?

How about those writing just to destroy the credibility of one casino? Or if someone has been paid by one casino to write negative write up against their competitors. Did you consider this too?

Thanks for the feedback @Beparanf, appreciate you checking it out.

I agree it’ll take some time for people to trust us since we’re new, and that’s fair. Over time, we’ll keep adding features to make the platform more trustless, transparent, and hopefully valuable for players.

Yes, we require every review to include a screenshot of a deposit email or casino dashboard to verify that the player has actually played at the casino. We’re also adding technical checks to prevent bots and keep reviews legitimate. And all reviews are manually checked at this point given it's just launched. We will contact reviewers to verify further if we believe them to be fake/fraudulent.

Users can optionally verify their X account, which we manually check to confirm it’s a real person and it's noted on their review as a badge. It’s still early days, and I’m sure there’ll be challenges with bots or bad actors, but we’ll keep improving the process to make sure reviews stay genuine and valuable for players.

This is a decent idea. A community focused casino is a much needed feature in the crypto gambling community. I don't really mind affiliate links, just the payments they demand to post a casino which can skew the ratings they give.

How would this work if the user is blocked on the account and want to write a review about that issue?

Thanks for the input @Upgrade00 - The problem with affiliate links is that those sites literally make money from players losing, so they’re incentivized to bury complaints or soften negative reviews to keep their casino relationships intact. It just doesn't work for a review site. That’s exactly why we’re not doing any affiliate or casino deals.

If a player is banned and can’t access their dashboard, we can still verify deposit emails as proof that they played. In complaint cases, it does get trickier if a casino blocks communication or access, so we always recommend players keep records and screenshots along the way.

Thanks, I’d really appreciate it. The more reviews we get, the more useful the platform becomes.

It’s mainly for language preference, and also so we can cross-check each casino’s terms of service to list restricted countries. That way, a casino will show as not accepting players from that country, helping players avoid signing up somewhere they’re technically not allowed to play.

It’s one of the biggest traps out there, players use a VPN or play from a banned country, win and then get their withdrawal suspended. We’re trying to flag that early so it’s clear right on the reviews page before anyone signs up.

How about those writing just to destroy the credibility of one casino? Or if someone has been paid by one casino to write negative write up against their competitors. Did you consider this too?

I am not satisfied with the answers to this question, and I may add that there are players who simply want to create negative reviews in an attempt to get even with the casino for losing. In contrast, review sites like Askgamblers and Bitcointalk allow representatives to address the issue. Do you have this option, or will you allow the representative to correct the accusations?

We have discovered numerous baseless accusations in the scam section of Bitcointalk. How are you going to address this issue?
And lastly, how will you sustain paying people for their reviews, and hosting costs money too?

Hi @coin-investor thanks for the reply.

Casinos will have the right to reply to reviews as well. Our complaints section will be player-voted, each case will be public, with evidence (and redacted personal info) posted, and the casino can respond and players vote on the outcome.

There will always be some bad actors when business reputations are involved, but if a player can verify they’ve actually played at the casino and confirm their X account as a real person, that’s already a big step forward, and much more than any other review site currently does. I’d love to implement blockchain-based verification like zk proofs eventually, but the practicality isn’t there yet.

I’m going to try my best to keep quality and legitimacy of reviews high as the platform success depends on it, and I’m open to any suggestions if you have some? maybe there’s something I haven’t considered.

As for monetization, you’re right, it’s taken countless hours to build and there are ongoing costs to keep it running. I make nothing from it right now but want to keep it unbiased, with no casino money or affiliate links, which hasn’t been done before. Once the platform gains traction, we’ll look at covering costs through non-gambling sponsors like VPN providers or security tools. As for paying for reviews it's not a long term plan, it's just to seed the platform initially and hopefully I gain some traction organically.

Cheers CB
