and it came to my mind that bitcoin value is increasing at very rapid rate. Is it possible that Satoshi could become the richest person on the earth in future because of huge bitcoin holdings ? Or is the gap already too much ?

Elon Musk, the richest man right now, has around $230–250 billion net worth. so if Satoshi is really holding about 1 million BTC, Bitcoin only needs to hit around $300k for him to take that top spot.

at the current range, it might look far, but honestly it’s not impossible. once Bitcoin reaches that level, Satoshi will automatically become the richest person on earth, even without showing his face.

He might even be lucky enough to become the richest man in the world if the price of Bitcoin ever reached $500,000, but they would never spend it, so he wouldn't even be taken seriously on the list of the richest in the world, because it's not known whether he has control of his fortune or not, whether he's alive or not. I personally think he's dead, unfortunately. For me, that's the only explanation for his disappearance; it doesn't make sense that he's still hiding.

Probably just for the sake of discussion, but aren’t you curious that it’s actually possible for Satoshi to become the richest person on earth based on the 1 million bitcoins he’s reportedly holding? it’s kinda crazy to think about, he could top everyone without even showing up or touching a single coin.

For Satoshi bitcoin worth to be able to surpass the net worth of Elon Musk, the price of bitcoin will be above $550000 and that's if Elon Musk net worth remains stagnant which I don't think so.

Satoshi will definitely become the world richest man in the future when bitcoin price will be very high from $600000 and above.

Satoshi could become the richest person in the world if Bitcoin reaches a certain price point, possibly above $600k; however, Elon Musk or other people who are at the top of that list will need to have a very slow growth in their net worth for that to happen, which is not going to happen as long as they are alive and have their businesses and ventures up and running.

Besides, I don't know if Satoshi's wealth will count or not, or whether he could be considered to be on that list or not, because the bitcoins are only lying around in his wallet since the beginning, no one even knows if he owns that wallet, or he's even alive or not. For one to be the richest person in the world, he has to have an existence, of course.

if satoshi never adds more to his stash, i do not think he will be the richest person ever since others have the opportunity to buy more bitcoins compared to him it is not just about the price or value of bitcoin, it is also about how much money others will get

Bitcoin value and price growth rates will become smaller with time. In the future, with bigger market cap for Bitcoin, its price will increase with slower speed than in the past cycle and the present cyle. It is true with all assets that last a long time as with bigger market cap, it's harder to increase more as it needs more demands, more new capital to bring the price upward.

Bitcoin has unprecedented adoption rate but it does not mean that it will be able to rise parabolically as same as past market cycles.

This is the central point of the discussion, in my opinion. Personally, I think Satoshi no longer has access to those bitcoins. Assuming he is a single person and that he is alive, it would be quite logical for him to have considered those bitcoins as a donation to the rest of the HODLers and to have other bitcoins that no one is attributing to him (a much smaller amount).

But I do not believe that someone we do not know whether they are one person or several, whether they are alive or dead, or whether they still have access to the keys, will be considered the richest person in the world in a hypothetical future.

Knowing how much wealth Satoshi has is “unimportant” to me, because he has provided “sufficiency” and other positive impacts on the world economy, which are important things that must be acknowledged. I mean, we should be extremely grateful to Satoshi as a hero.

For example, even if he only holds 1 million Bitcoin, that would be enough for him to enjoy all the desires that many others aspire to.
Let us preserve the legacy he has left behind as a form of gratitude, without needing to know the extent of his wealth. He prioritizes privacy. People who prioritize privacy tend not to disclose the extent of their wealth.

Possible but I'm sure it'll take a lot of times and also, the progress of other rich people could bring more to their own networth, a lot can happen that time such as investments and projects so let's see if Satoshi can become the leading in terms of richest. Also, we aren't sure yet about Satoshi Nakamoto, no one knows what's Satoshi and who's satoshi, only himself knows everything. I'm still considering those as a burned wallet as satoshi knows how Gold works, he applied it to be more scarce.
