Program Files from 11/11/2000

I just downloaded the Electrum software to my Laptop, after having successfully verified the signature.
Then, I went into Program Files (Windows) just to check what I actually have downloaded, and found the following files from 11/11/2000: electrum-4.6.2 Application about 11000 KB, electrum-4.6.2-debug Application about 11000KB, and electrum ICO file 63 KB.
There is also a folder named _internal (dated from today), and within this folder there are 12 folders dated from today, and 31 pyd or dll files dated 11/11/2000, 10:11 pm.
My question is, as Electrum was first created in 2011, are these files from 2000 legit (an AI summary from a Google search was talking about older personal signatures from the various people involved) or is my download malicious/compromised.
I have also completely removed Electrum from my computer twice and re-installed twice, but unfortunately the old files are still included.

I don't get it which file you're talking about dated the year 2000.
Is that when you installed Electrum, and the extracted files are dated year 2000?

Electrum has open-source code from the link below, but I couldn't see any files that were created in 2000.

There's nothing to worry about.
I also have electrum installed on windows and have the same files.

To make sure you have downloaded the legit version of electrum, you can verify your download.

My question is, as Electrum was first created in 2011, are these files from 2000 legit or is my download malicious/compromised.

The Windows installer version somehow do that to the installed files even in the older and latest versions.
I have an installed 3.3.8 in my archive and its timestamp are also Nov 2000.
It's only its "Modified" date, so check the file's properties for its "Created" date for the actual timestamp when you installed it.
But comparing that to the usual file timestamp of 11-11-2000 doesn't tell if your files are actually legit.

It should be the downloaded installer "setup" file and not the already-installed files.
