We all know that feeling sometimes luck just hits different  while other times even your perfect plan goes down in flames

so what really decides our fate when gambling ?
is it pure luck or can strategy actually make a difference in long run?

I've seen people swear by patterns bankroll rules and betting systems While others just go with their gut and still win big

what do you think? Does strategy really help or is it just luck and timing ?

I would say it's a combination of both. In sports betting, you'll have to do your part with a good analysis, try to make a good prediction based on statistics and then hope you'll get lucky enough to have your predictions come to pass. That's pretty much it. You do need both to have a win.
You can try to make a good analysis but it can always go wrong as we've seen countless times in football where the underdogs go ahead to win games, surprising everyone.

i feel luck and strategy both kinda play some unique roles!!! but in different ways. in gambling maybe luck decides the short term outcome! but strategy sure influences how long you can stay in the game and how much you lose or win over time. you can not control luck!! no one can predict when a slot will hit or a roulette wheel will land but a good strategy like managing your bankroll, knowing when to stop and picking games with better odds can make a big difference for sure.

Luck helps in winning the jackpot. while strategy helps in proper bankroll management, but those strategies can't decide if you win or lose. In sports betting, our skill also helps us increase our chance of winning, but luck does the rest of the work.

Strategy appears to work for awhile but as we all know, strategies always fail in the long run. With that being said, luck is what you are winning on. You cannot predict when something will or won't win. Everytime you click a button you are relying on random luck to take you to the btc promise land.

Strategy can make a difference, but it depends on the game you are betting on. One good example is sports betting, where many gamblers are really good at predicting the results of the game because they are big fans of it and have been following the sport for ages.
They know how the system works, they are updated with recent changes in players, coaches, and even the management, and they are always in the news to check on injuries or other incidents that might affect the result of the game.

We cannot say that it is pure luck anymore because they are making an effort to increase their chance of winning and the best final result on where they will bet.

It is mostly luck in all forms of games, and then a bit of strategy for the strategy-based games.

Think about this: if you apply strategy to a luck-based game, you will find that it is ineffective regardless of how efficient that strategy seems.

If you go purely with luck also for a strategy-based game, it may work once, but not most of the time. If you also apply strategy alone to a strategy-based game, it will work some of the time too, and not most of the time. Having luck and strategy for a strategy-based game is the best combo to improve the chances of winning.

Gambling as we all know was structured in such a way that the casino companies/platform/owners always has the higher advantage, so even if a gambler or bettor has the right and most best and efffective strategy in the whole wide world, long term profits is not one hundred percent guaranteed. Though there can be a huge loss reduction whenever one applies the right strategy coz

Overall, it's luck. When it comes to gambling, lady luck is the boss. Strategy can't bankrupt a casino. It's always the other way around. At most, it can prevent your bankroll from getting drained right away. It helps, yeah, of course, but it doesn't really make you win in the end.

Although I know of local gamblers who are so rich, it's not the playing, the betting itself that made them so. They're so rich because they're also big-time gambling operators.

Both of them actually decide our fate when ever we gamble, luck, strategy are both very important when it comes to winning from gambling, but the most important one is luck.

Strategy is very good but it only increases our chances of winning, luck is what decided what our final fate will be, if strategy was the major deciding factor when it came to winning games, alot of us today will be very rich from gambling because many of us will go to any length to find a 100% working strategy, but unfortunately, even if a gambler's strategy is absolutely perfect, he or she still will pray to be lucky, because without being lucky, he or she still don't win the game or win the bet.

So, I don't know what other users are saying, but the above is my opinion, this is what I 100% believe, strategy and luck are both important, but luck is more powerful than strategy in terms of winning games.

Strategy makes the bankroll last longer, although it doesn't ensure long term profitability.

Luck is an essential factor which puts few gamblers in a profitable position, although it's not enough to overcome the mathematical house edge, which confers an advantage for the house the more gamblers play.

In betting and or gambling luck matters. The only thing I understand about strategy is that people use them thinking that it is the reason why they win but never understand that gambling is luck base.

If your strategy works for you, know that it is still luck. There are many people that used the same strategy of yours but they were losing. So it is not about just strategy, luck is there.

It is worth knowing that strategy may first work, but it will only lead to the the use of more money to gamble and which can be followed by losses. Be very careful and gamble with the amount of money that you can afford to lose.

Nobody knows their fate when gambling as they don't know when they will win either. You can use your analysis to find the potential  team that can win. But you can not be sure if your selection team will win in the end. So that makes you adjust your bet amount and only place a bet with the amount you can afford.

A gambler doesn't really know what works for him in most cases as both Luck and strategy work hand in hand almost at all times. There's a certain game a gambler will predict, even common sense would tell an onlookers that the gambler is wise and willing to win. There are bets you need to rely on strategy, skill and experience and I think the luck is just a bonus. Luck comes fully on game of chances while strategy comes if you know what you're betting for. Newbies believe in luck but I think seasoned gamblers don't rely on that, and I think someone will agree with me.

What I can say for a basic explanation here is luck for me is only during the result if you play in luck-based games, but the strategy, you can apply it to how you manage your capital, like bet size, how you take profit, how you stop losing more, and sometimes, strategy when to stop when you are already winning or losing.
Luck is given when you gamble, what's best to work on is how you control emotion and strategy is just a bonus but still important.
