💹 Do you prefer Scalping, Day trading, or Swing trading ?

When I tried scalping, I thought it was good, but it was later that I started to lose. Maybe you were just lucky and not scalping enough to know how dangerous it is. But some people that will understand price action might be able to make some money from scalping because the is one of the strategies that is very important if you are a scalper. For me I prefer to hold, but there are sometimes that I will make profit and decided to make it swing trading instead of holding.

Scalping is usually for those day traders that have time on their hands for someone who is actually having limited time and hardly look at the market it will be hard to scalp, one key thing to make one a scalper is technical knowledge I think using either price action or even strategies like SMC is a good way to scalp. One thing about scalping though is more closer to gambling because the risk is most at times higher than the reward due to high leverage.

I usually have this mindset that scalpers are usually those with low budget or small capital looking to make quick flip of their money, swing traders are those with liquidity and are just like holders. Swing traders usually have low risk to high reward than scalping due to leverage size

I can't really tell you what's best just do what works for you...for some people they make a lot of profit from day trading while others benefit from swing trading, it's all a matter of preference and doing what aligns with your trading strategy...I prefer day trading even though a lot of people consider it to be risky..personally I think swing trading is more risky because keeping a trade open for a long time can cause a decline in profit

A professional trader isn't one who has mastered only one but all the trading strategies and has settled for one. So among these mentioned strategies the one that still works very for me until I adopt another well suiting strategy is the day trading.

One thing is that a day trader aims to secure an average win size that is in total bigger than the average loss they incurred, and the percentage of this win is very profitable that all former loss could be covered.

Yes, it's all about our preference and what's profitable to us. Everyone can choose their own ways of trading and what they are used to do. It's best not to copy others preference because it is for sure that we'll get to have our very own preference if we want to have it. As much as I want to be a day trader, the reality is that most of them are losing. They could win big for some of their trades but it's kind of exhausting that you're doing it everyday. I cannot imagine the emotional stress that it may bring if it's my bread and butter and sometimes I stumble.

I scalp the market and as well do day trading depending on opportunity, I don't like wasting much of time in the market checking my PC or smartphone, though there are tools to use to help me out, but I don’t have that time to hold trade for weeks, and couple of times I have held trade for about 3 days or more, the last one I held the experience was made, after that the trade was moving in my direction, there was a news released and the market took me out, I ended up wasting a whole of 3 days and there was no result. So I love knowing the outcome of my trade within a day, however swing trading still remains the best approach to trading.

However, you trade base on what that suits you or base on your personality.

I also like to do day trading I don't like long term trading if I liked long term I would have chosen investment I wouldn't have been trading. There is some fun in day trading which not everyone understands. I have been doing day trading for quite some time and was getting some profit from it but when I was trading today I bought some from the dip and held it for a few hours then I took some profit. Then I placed an order to buy more from the dip and woke up to find that my order was completed and due to huge dumping of the market I have faced a lot of loss but hopefully I won't have to keep this trading for long maybe I will get some profit soon.

Find out what works for you and stick to it, there's no one that's better than the other, it's all about following the rules and applying risk management. Swing trading can also be profitable as well as day trading because there are people that succeed with these patterns of trading. I'm not really focused on trading as I used to but back then I was a swing trader, it has it's advantages but day trading is also profitable

Riskiest among them is scalping.
It will encourage traders to use high leverage. Thinking they can earn $1 or $2 every minutes but it will later turn bad.

The best among them is swing trading.
It will encourage patience and low leverage because you want to leave the position opened for a long time and in a way you will be able to sleep well in the night.

Day trading is also very risky.

All of them are risky take a look at bitcoin yesterday alot of swing traders I know of where taken out after weeks of execution and waiting, but this is an individual decision, it depends on the one that fits your personality, some people can have jobs or go to school daily, these set of individuals can deal with swing trading, but if you stay at home for a longer period of time you can choose either daytrading or scalping, but for me scalping is stressful and emotionally draining, Although you can make alot more than daytrading and swing trading, but I personally choose daytrading, it's more stable for me.

I'll prefer day trading cause it seems less stressful and less riskier to me but then I believe everyone would chose what's favourable with them in terms of comfortability, winning strategies and so on. Regardless they all are riskier but it depends on how you map out your strategies, so I'll always suit in for day trading to any of the above mentioned.
