Governments always want to have records of your financial obligations

So I brought this interesting topic about a 17 yr old young man bought 14,000 hectares of land which should be equivalent to 311 pieces of lands in Edo state Nigeria and the government of the state has become concerned to know the source of income of the young man following an executive order to withhold the signing of of the Certificate of Ownership (C of O) until investigations is executed. The governor of the state has also sighted a probe of money laundering on the same vein.

Indeed the awareness of the young mans achievement really caused sparks that could be erupt public pondering in regard of his age but come to think of it, does the age tag worth the only reason why the government would take such stance? If the authorities mean to be fair then the politicians and the influential people in the societies with their luxuries in home and abroad should also be considered.

Infact I would either cast no stone to anyone on drawing to conclusions but I just wanted us to understand the reason why government will never encourage decentlized digital assets as Bitcoin or crypto currencies is because they only want you to invest or hold values that they can take control.
Well... Let us take this as lack of financial freedom and financial insecurity whereas, the governments will want to intrude into your privacy. This has also imply that we can own stashes of Bitcoin portfolio While spending them will be another difficult challenge because the governments does not want you to be financially free.

To me I don't see anything wrong In the government asking him about the source of his income. Any government of a country should be able to keep account of the on goings as such kind of wealth draw attention..

If the young man is able to prove his source of income( which we know very well he won't) then he will be allowed to go on with his life.

There's nothing wrong in accumulating such kind of  property but someone who knows his wealth isn't genuine should be smart enough to keep a very low profile. No one has to see you, but there's something with these fraudsters and that's they want the world to know about them.

He could have accumulated separate lands all over his state and establish them. Everyone of them would bring him different amount of return depending on the location..

In Nigeria now, politicians are above the law based on the governments mode of operation so talking about considering them to be investigated its a waste of time because such can never happen except he fans out of favour.
At times the Nigerians government are always interested in frustrating the efforts of young Nigerians when they never made any provision for the citizens of the country Nigeria. I know there are some money that deserves scrutiny but it should be done to both the politicians and influential people also and not only young citizens
