Bitcoin white paper on public display in Mexico

This is one of the best bitcoin awareness given to the public that I have ever come across. Bitcoin white paper was displayed in public in Mexico which is my first time to see it, what I know of amd have seen frequently is the bitcoin logo. This will pass the full message of why bitcoin was created to whoever visits or goes to the town square and those that understand what the white paper says will love to adopt bitcoin. However, I am not surprised because Mexico is a cryptofriendly country since their government supports it. It will also motivate the young ones to have the knowledge of bitcoin after reading the white paper.

How I wish that my government can open their two arms to welcome bitcoin adoption in the country, it will be a good step that they have taken. Is your country a bitcoin friendly country and how hash is the law on crypto regulation in your country.

You're right about Mexico leaning in. The gov there has been pretty pro-BTC, trying to make it a hub. Wish my jurisdiction (insert your country/state here) would wake up. Over here, the regs are... let's just say the suits are still drawing up paperwork to tax your cold wallet. Not friendly, just confused.

The masks are a nice touch. True to the cypherpunk roots. Hope it gets some normies to actually read it and understand why we need this. The white paper in public is a powerful signal. More of this, everywhere

Back to op, I'm wondering why this post has no reply since it created. But then it's a good way to bring awareness of bitcoins purpose and why it was created. Many people don't really understands why bitcoin came into existence and because of some similar reasons they have decided to not adopt it.. I guess this act really pushed awareness a lot in the country. And I hope many countries would follow same. Only a few number of countries has been able to accept this technology. some still place bans on the use of bitcoin, restricting it's people from learning or having access to it...

I'm also surprised no one commented on this thread before. It's my first time seeing it. Kinda cool, although people can't read the text unless they come close, it feels cool to see something like this IRL. I guess my perception is a bit biased because I liked the mask.

Anyway, threads from October seem to get bumped recently (or maybe older than that). This is the second time I've seen something like this today.

Creating Bitcoin awareness is really difficult, imagine the level of privacy and risk taken before boldly sharing this information to the public. The public needs to know the real aim why bitcoin was created and the white paper is the top best example set, talking about bitcoin logo commonly used by many and I doubt if the logo gets more recognition because not everyone is aware about bitcoin logo type seeing how clothing brands make use of the logo. With the little knowledge many will realize how bitcoin prioritize privacy more, also an investment choice, though this is a very difficult thing to do, aside government, individuals can as well make an attempt to teach bitcoin using oral or written pattern. Not all state governors are ready to give bitcoin enthusiasts a bitcoin friendly environment unfortunately my state government will not embrace bitcoin technology probably some other time.

Bitcoin is legal in Mexico, so I don't agree with the risk part and as you can see they are all on masks, so you would not really know those who are sharing the information, although they may not have 100% privacy, but their identities are not readily divulged. Bitcoin awareness is not as difficult as you think, I've literally seen people print face caps or T-shirts and give out to others or even hold blockchain meetups, but this is a very different pattern altogether.

It is a beauty seeing such public displays that serves as a active means of educating the public on bitcoin, and this is a bold step by these individuals to get more people to know and use bitcoin since it is heavily regulated in the country still as banks and fintech firms are prevented by law to offer crypto services in the country.
