We need to earn money to run our daily lives, we earn money only by earning and then we live with our families. People basically work only to make their lives secure, money is needed in every field and they work from that money to run their lives. When a person earns in a family, when that family starts growing gradually, the demand also increases, but when a person works in a place, his salary does not increase, which makes it very difficult to manage his life. We know that as the world develops, the standard of living of people is improving, but some people are struggling to meet their basic needs, as a result, they are not improving. We know that nowadays people are very focused on Bitcoin and decentralized resources, although we know that these are very one-sided in control. However, whatever he said, it really worries people deeply, basically are we really working to live, or are we just living to work, this is a real concern.

When the number of family members increases but the income is limited, running the household becomes stressful. It becomes difficult to fulfill additional responsibilities properly with limited income. While fulfilling all the responsibilities with a small income, one has to keep within the calculations. But if the income required to fulfill the responsibilities is not increased, one has to silently sacrifice the basic needs of the family. In the situation you are in, you need additional income. In addition, proper financial planning is needed so that unnecessary expenses can be reduced.

I think we all pretty much start out living to work, but as we mature, make smarter decisions with our money and finances, we shift over to being able to work to live.  We can afford better things, and the reason is, we have made ourselves worth more to the ones who pay us, we have been smart with our money, and have build up a buffer so we are not living paycheck to paycheck.  This takes work though, and effort, a lot of it.


Most people's problems is, they want to live champagne lifestyles on a beer pocket book.  They think they deserve a mansion when they turn 18
You just got out of High School, or even college, (waste of money), NO you are NOT going to be making 200k a year out the gate.  You don't know anything yet, even though you think you know everything, you are not worth that kind of money yet, even though you think the world revolves around you, (at least that's what your 500 fake friends on fakebook make you think)
Also, you don't deserve and are not owed anything either, you must EARN it, like the rest of us did.
Don't pump out 3 kids by the time you are 22 years old and only making 40k a year, you can't afford them.
You don't need to be driving a corvette either, who cares what your idiot friends thinks, THEY are not paying your bills!

Live within your means, and most of all, be thankful for what you DO have.  Health is something you can not buy if you ruin yours or lose it.  Happiness means so much more to quality of life, and if you are one of these coin operated types who is going to live your life always chasing money, you'll never be happy, and never enjoy.  Money comes to those who don't obsess over it. Obsessing over money makes one not happy.   Enjoy the little things.  I don't have a lambo, who cares, i have a dog that loves me, shift your perspectives a bit.

You want more in life, you need to make yourself worth more,  and / or  make your money worth more.  Don't fall for scams, grow your money in nibbles, because your chances of hitting the 5 course meal are slim to none, don't get scammed.

Finally, be very ware of other's generosity.  Watch those credit cards,   15 percent interest will eat you alive.  Use them for emergencies only, do NOT fall into that trap, although i believe I can confidently say, I believe we all have at one time.

Life is not always pretty, and you won't make it out alive.  The biggest commodity that nobody ever seems to understand is.  Love.  Having family that cares for you, and having someone else that you care about.  Don't lose that commodity, chasing fiat, and alienating them.  It gets better as you get older and less able to enjoy it 

Seriously though, everything looks like it sucks when you are starting out, but as you go through life, and make good decisions, it all gets better.

However, in today's poor economy and inflation, we are forced to continue working, making it difficult to achieve financial freedom. To overcome this, we need to invest as investing can help us achieve financial freedom.

We need to remember that relying solely on our current job won't make us rich it only serves to meet our basic needs and fulfill our basic needs. Life isn't always about luxury, but rather about survival. Not all endeavors are made easy, but those who strive will succeed. So while you have a job, you should pursue it wholeheartedly. Because the joys of life can be found only when all our needs are easily met.

Which ever state we fine our self we been used to it because no matter how you complain it seems still not changing anything, those people in power that are surpose to make things more easy for the common man are the same people bend on making life even more tougher,  cost of living as been a major problem to us, people barely feed three squirrels meal as a result of bad governance and leadership, however the plan of every average person is to work and build up an empire not to be enslaved  in earning a living.

Currently, the cost of living is something else only the lion hearted can scale through.

The more we all make a big deal out of this, the more it affects our reality, since the day we were born have we truly see things getting better or worse? I will talk for myself, since I was born things have always get harder in the country and economy wise, nothing ever goes back the way they once were.

The way forward is to follow the smart money, evolve around the needful things of today, rich people are still increasing in numbers and the numbers of the poor are also increasing, it is better to leave the old ways and go the new route.

It is no longer a rumor that Tech is where money flows to, I advise we should build ourselves around it, the new billionaires in Asia part of the world all made it through technology and AI, this is now the future and anyone that thinks otherwise will be sadly left behind.

And the rich will not be living to work instead they will be living to enjoy their lives as money will be working for them. Everyone will have different perspectives here depending on their financial well-being. Rich will never care about working this hard as they already have stable finances and all they need to do is make their money work for them while they can sit back and relax. Inflation will hardly affect them anyways.

But imagine about the poor, they already struggle to get their daily expenses cover and inflation is just going to be a pain in the neck for them. They have no other option than to live to work for their entire life at least until they have sufficient resources to take care of their families.

You will never change the status quo, no matter how much you complain bitterly about those dirty rich not giving you their money, it won't change a thing.
All it does is make you miserable, and focusing your energy on hating something you have no chance to change, stressing yourself out, harming your health.. .over something you have no control over..... why?

Nobody is going to give you anything, you are not entitled, you do not deserve, you are not owed, all that silly stuff you want to believe, because some politician put that poison into your brain so you'd show you are a fool and vote for them, because they promised you that... it will never happen.

The only person who is going to change things to make YOUR life easier is YOU!!  The sooner you finally grasp this tenet of life and understand it, the faster you can start making things better on your own.

Those people you keep expecting who are going to go out of their way to make your life easier, couldn't care less about you, and why should they?  They are too busy making their lives better and their families lives better to worry about you.  You are a total stranger, you have done absolutely nothing for them, so why do they owe you anything?  They don't. 

Everyone loves to see the money their neighbor has and complain that they are entitled to it somehow, but never look and see that the man worked 80 hour week -  100 hour weeks and weekends over the last 30 years to earn that money and put it to work, so he COULD have it when he got to this point. No they don't care about that, and sure as heck don't want to do anything like that themselves, oh heavens no!!  They don't want a job, they just want a pay check.

The only person you can truly rely on is yourself, maybe.... so why set your self up in the trap to be let down by someone else?

so you want stuff to be 30 percent cheaper,  would you be willing to take a 30 percent pay cut to make things 30 percent cheaper.  how about even a 20 percent cut? oh i see.  yah. it's always easier to spend someone elses money.

you all keep talking about the people in power, they did this to you, they did that to you on and on, it's all THEIR fault, nothing you did!!.  No, YOU are doing this to you.  the people in power and the things they do have not changed over the past 1000 years, yet we still keep getting new millionaires / billionaires who are not related to them don't we?  hmm wonder how that is??

Maybe it's not what they do to you, that is the main problem, but more .. what you WONT do for yourself that is the issue?    There's a difference between Adulting, and Adults.  A better lifestyle can be the benefit of the latter.

That doesn’t change a thing, the focus is still survival, and if we don’t get to work, we might end up living in the streets with our tummy’s empty. So while there are opportunities to work and earn significant amount, seize it. Others have difficulties in finding their right job, while we are given the perfect opportunity to work and become stable, and eventually make ends meet, and even afford our wants whenever we have spare money left.

Working to live, although we are given options, but for poor individuals, we have no choice but to work to live, otherwise we won’t be able to feed our family. So working to live, or living to work, either way, still the goal is to live and survive like anyone else.

Sometimes it can take years to find the right job.  it took me over 10 years.  in the meantime, you take the job that pays the bills, keeps a roof over your head and keeps the bills paid.   while you are working this job ,build your resume and your skills so that when the opportunity comes, you are ready to step into that right job and are well qualified to be the one they choose.  Funny thing about karma,  had a job forced one me, wanted no part of it, was dragged into it kicking and screaming... turns out a decade later, that became my 'career' paying very well.   That 'garbage' job, gave me the skillset that landed me my dream job.

Survival is at stake. If we don’t work, there can be no means to survive, but will end up with hungry stomach. Even those rich and wealthy men, they still prioritize their work in order to create more productivity and progress, to gain more riches and wealth eventually.

However, considering living to work, I think that creates no difference with the first one. We just have to keep things going by working and investing at the same time, so that we will live more positively than living in regrets and poverty.

Most old people who were not able to meet up making an investment when they were much younger and active are the once suffering it most. Surely, for those who have secured investment or are securing investment it will be a thing of living to work and not working to live in the future and that's with help of investment, it will really be terrible to be found in that situation of living to work and working to live till old age, life is harder so we should be harder to meet up certain demands of life.

In whatever way it seems either working to live or living to work we all get the point which states don’t stop working. In a situation when it seems you work always without showing anything or working to meet ends meet only and the funds can’t cover up the investment obviously when inflation comes the income will not sustain our basic needs, in this situation finding another job will help grow bitcoin investment against inflation. I have come to a realization every work seems hard unlike those times when the wealthy ones don’t do too much still they receive much, nothing comes so easy even when we get promotion there’s still another level of duty assign.

I feel the same way. Sometimes it feels like we’re just going in circles. Even when we manage to grow professionally and get a better salary, it still seems impossible to reach a point of balance. We always have to keep running harder and harder just to maintain the same standard of living. That’s inflation. Inflation is completely eating away at our purchasing power year after year. But after the pandemic, things started moving much faster. There’s not much we can do, just keep running in this endless chase for money. At least we have Bitcoin to ease it a bit,  without it, the world would be much worse

I think that’s what actually living life is. You need to work hard and earn a living, so you can settle all your bills and live a good and comfortable life. Because if you prefer to stay at home and get rest all the time, this laziness will kill you. And any lazy person will never have the chance to live and enjoy life, so always wake up early, get to work, perform your task, get home late, because that’s where majority of us make a living and live a good life.

However, not everyone is given the chance to work and earn, most particularly those PWDs, that’s why government assistance are there. But that won’t erase the fact, that our life is set to work and live, or else we will never get to experience what real life is.

Sometimes it feels like no matter how much we earn, the cost of living keeps climbing faster. Food, rent, electricity, even transportation, everything seems to demand a bigger slice of the paycheck. People are spending more hours working, but what they can afford with that work keeps shrinking.

This happens when central banks fail to put inflation under control. Especially core inflation. It seems that they're giving up, now that some major central banks are raising rates. The FED and the ECB are one of them.

At this pace, we'll be subject to debt slavery forever. We're technically living to work. Since the system is rigged, the rich will keep getting richer, while the poor, poorer. Not even Bitcoin will fix all of our problems. If you're one of the lucky ones who has a high salary or more than two jobs, hooray for you. But not everyone has such capability. At least, it's better something than nothing.

well said. we keep working harder and longer, but the results are not keeping up. the real question is, at what point do we break free from this cycle? Bitcoin and decentralized assets offer a glimpse of what that freedom might look like.

Everyone will be able to break free from this potentially uncomfortable cycle only when everyone is wealthy and no longer dependent on other people's companies or jobs. So, as long as we're still living simply and not yet wealthy, this dependency should still be considered normal, as people work hard to earn money and also to gain more freedom when they are rich. However, if you find it difficult to become wealthy through other people's work, then consider doing something slightly different in your free time so that the foundation for achieving greater financial freedom can be stronger from an early age.

A good sentence in my opinion, I think this is experienced by some people who are tired of their lives even though they work but there is no comfort from their lives with a mediocre income making them complain every time they come home from work or at night, why is that? because I feel it, I once thought like this in the middle of the night when I couldn't sleep and all I did was lament my fate with a cigarette. Honestly, the night was calm but not with thoughts, and I think almost everyone experiences this. Keep up the spirit, friend. Keep living, don't think about ending your life.

I can only imagine what people are going through each day, it's not easy for people at all. Some people can't even eat three square meals a day, for some is just one and others two a day and when you decides to sit and listen to people's story of the struggles then you'll even forget that you issues too.

Most employers are just working to survive as their salary can't even provide their needs, most of them spend the money on transportation and saving for rent and there's no way to even save from it.  For those who doesn't have a Rich uncle or comes from the Rich are just struggling to survive coupled with the high rate of things now is so bad . So yea, we're working to live, the bill's has to be paid, responsibilities needs to be taken care of, needs are meant to be met every single day. Generally, people with low incomes face financial crises in their lives. They work harder than other classes, they do not get proper remuneration, and even if they are paid more, it is not enough according to the needs. The current economic situation has reached a point where a poor person will never be able to improve his condition. Because no matter how hard he works, it is not possible to improve his condition with that remuneration. Imagine, you don't need to eat, sleep or relax, so if you are asked to earn money through hard work, what will you do? Maybe not. Because you don't need money to eat, you don't need a house to sleep and you don't need the necessary things for relaxation. So why should you be forced to work? Ask yourself this question, then you will get the answer very easily.

As the day progresses, inflation is increasing and the blood of the poor is being sucked. Do you notice, who is affected the most by this inflation? Undoubtedly, it is on the poor. Workers contribute the most to the country's development, but at the end of the day they are the ones who are neglected. You see politicians or government officials, who earn more money than necessary even with little hard work, most of them illegally. You can also blame them for the inflation, the consequences of which are borne by the poor.

In economic difficulties like the one we're in now, class differences start to become more apparent. If you don't have inherited wealth, no matter what you do or how hard you work, it's never enough. You always need more. It's impossible to move up in class, even meeting your basic survival needs is becoming harder day by day. There are millions of people who feel the same way as you because this is the reality of life.

this is true @EFS, the current economy situation we are in right now, if you don't inherit wealth from your father or else were, you are going to suffer malice Before you can get it right, or you might not even be getting it right, you might end up living in paycheck to paycheck in other to survive do to the current economy situation.

And Back to the question of the OP, from my perspective I will say that there is a balance between both, and both has there owe advantages and disadvantages when you are living to work simple means that your work come first before any other thing, because you want to achieve a purpose, and not really to aim a living, so you won't be having time for families and friends including yourself, but when you are  work to live you're working to earn a living for yourself and your family, and you will have time for your families and friends including yourself self.
