We can do both if we want to but if your trust with the teams themselves is no longer there, it's best for you to stick with these prop bets specifically on the players. I'll continue to ride with the team because as you've said sometimes they play like champs but by the next match, they play ugly. We're still in the early season so this going to be common for most teams.

From my experience, I feel more comfortable betting on the team to win by a certain margin, that’s the point spread. Player props are also pretty interesting, but I don’t have a good track record with those, so I stick to my usual style.

After all, we bet on sports because we want to use our skills to win. I just don’t believe I can improve my skills by making my bets more complicated.

Betting on player props is much easier because an individual player can perform consistently with much ease compared to a team performance since one crucial player committing mistakes can cause a game.

Player like SGA, Jokic and many more are very consistent on most of their games which you can have a good ride.

I rarely bet now on ML on NB ever since I transitioned to WNBA recently.

I pick the player only if I can not get something from my analysis. But not most of the time I do that because I can pick the team that has potential to win although that still does not guarantee me to win. But well, that will not be a problem whether I choose players or teams to bet because I know when I should place a bet. I don't know how about others but we should know what we should bet so we can analyze better and can pick the bet.

Nah, it's the same and depends on what prop on the players you are betting. There are some that are really obvious that the player will get it, but the downside is that the odds are too low. That's why sometimes I often multi-bet in multiple player props to have higher odds (still risky).
If you are watching the whole game and you have player props bet, it's exciting while watching  as you are hoping to win in your player props bet

I have not yet decided on that, but I am also thinking about focusing on props.

Why the change of mind? Well, simply put, my records on team betting are very low on winning, and it's not like I lacked the effort of using stats, records, and analysis before doing that.
My only problem in player props betting, especially the same game multi, is that I get greedy sometimes, and I add more to the list even though it's going to be difficult to reach that number.
I might change that to two and restrict it to 2 to 3 picks, but it's going to be a slow profit in case I can get a winning streak.

How is that you're safe, the referee can still mess with the decisions and influence the game to the level the player gets frustrated and plays like dogshit.

So you just proved your point wrong with this one, a player making a mistake when he isn't supposed to do will also affect his own performance, isn't it?
Basically, you're back to square one, but instead of picking the whole team as a whole as a winner, you try to guess which player is going to play as it should. I'm amazed that some still claim to have found the eazy way to win bets.

Lol... These days betting on teams feels like an entirely new gamble within a gamble because you cannot even predict who is going to show up or not. Just imagine one game they are dropping 130 points, playing amazingly and winning bigly then the next game they will rest all their best players or suddenly they will play terribly. So I'm imagine betting on such inconsistencies feels like betting a pure guess work.  Player props feel alot safer to gamble on these days especially when you are focused on their form and minutes. It is safer to ride with players like Luka, Giannis and Tatum to hit their points or rebounds instead of stressing yourself with teams because if you know they are locked in, they are far more reliable to ride with.

Betting on players seems to be the best for teams that have record of inconsistencies in performance, between that we have to come to a point also where we see players performance to fall between the total team performance, what that will mean is that, even though you bet on the player's if the team overall performance become poor it will effect your results regardless.

Let say you bet on player x to score 2 points in the game, whereas the team members failed to give the player auch passes that could end him those points, you see that the player will not give you that points to win your bet.

So in the end, Betting on both the teams and player's plays thebsame risks and at that we may have to do both.

Many people bet based on starting lineup, whenever the star player not include in starting lineup, people would think the team will use younger player which not as strong as they used to be.
