- Even though I wouldn't have ordered it right away, I still think it's unfair to limit who can pre-order it (strange decision)!

They have now removed the unsupported countries apparently, so you won't even find your country in the list if it was showing "Coming soon" prior to this. This applies to all previous models as well. Very strange to say the least.

I have just finished checking the first 25 countries from the list, and for some reason, I'm still seeing the unsupported countries on the list [the same issue applies to the checkout page].
- BTW, the previous models aren't affected from my side (weirdly, we're experiencing different things now).

It's interesting that with ordering Trezor Safe 7 customers receive FREE magnetic wireless charger in the package.

I found it strange that despite mentioning the accessory prices in their presentation [screenshot at 55:30], I was experiencing the same thing in their shop, but "OmegaStarScream's solution" did the trick for me.
- Even though I wouldn't have ordered it right away, I still think it's unfair to limit who can pre-order it (strange decision)!
I would NOTZ order Trezor Safe 7 and any accessories in the same package, if you want to receive package as early as possible.
This was recommendation directly from Trezor, but you can do that if you are not in a hurry to play with new device.
New case for Trezor Safe 7 is cool, but I don't think it's worth paying $39 for that.

I pre-ordered a Trezor Safe 7. With delivery to London, it cost me $255.11.
By the way, the price mentioned in this thread is €249, so if you want to save a little money, change the currency on the website to dollars, and the bill will be $249.

I found this: https://x.com/Trezor/status/1982856520363876437

I'm not from Turkey but I would imagine this is the case for all other countries unsupported countries, although I'm not sure what do they mean by "import policies" making it impossible... as I do shop online from abroad all the time.

IMO, it's slightly better than giving a $30 discount [or vouchers for those who might not even be eligible (cough... Led... Cough... ger)].

IIRC, they said the same thing for shipping to the Philippines and Brazil, but AFAIK, the latter no longer has this issue.
- The strange part is that they don't have any issues shipping to their official resellers in the Philippines!

I noticed the same thing and I reported it in our local board Wink
There are also some discount coupons online that can further bring the price down.

I think the same, but I am not sure how much those wireless charges are usually worth.
Still, it's a rear thing to have chargers with any devices these days, including new phones.

I'm not sure if this has been reported here. But in any case, I saw this tweet from Trezor.

You're the first one to report it on this thread, but on the dedicated "cake wallet" thread, Pmalek reported something similar [at that time, it appeared to be limited to mobile devices only]. One of Trezor's staff also mentioned that "this only works with Safe 7" devices, but on Cake wallet's "blog post", they're using a picture of a Safe 5 device, so now I'm confused & wondering if it's really limited to Safe 7 or there's a workaround for older Trezor devices.

BTW, a "small update" about the availability of Safe 7 devices:

I would go with what the people from Trezor claim. Their team said that the Trezor and Cake Wallet integration only works with the Safe 7. The content creators responsible for Cake Wallet's blog could have made an honest mistake, when they added an image of a different Trezor product.

On a personal note, I don't like that the Cake Wallet integration only works with the Trezor Safe 7. I doubt there is a software or hardware limitation that prevents the company from enabling the same kind of support for models Safe 3 and Safe 5. I think they just didn't want to. It seems like it's a matter of: "If you want it, then buy our most expensive hardware wallet." Perhaps they will reconsider in the future.

I agree but what advantage does the Cake wallet have over Trezor suite to make this a deal breaker? I have not tested it yet, but it looks like Trezor suite for mobile now allows connecting the Safe 7 (via Bluetooth) and all other devices using cable and you can do everything as opposed to before, where only "watching" the wallet was possible.

EDIT: looks like the iOS version still only have the watch-only feature

Perhaps support for more altcoins. I am pretty sure that the Cake Wallet supports more alts than Trezor does with its native apps. The partnership will provide Trezor users with access to new instant swap options built into Cake Wallet and fiat on/off ramps. Cake supports Silent Payments and Payjoin. I am not sure that Trezor Suite supports those. I think Cake Wallet is working on something important for Monero, but can't remember what it's all about.
