To become a real Bitcoiner, you first need to know at least how long you need to hold Bitcoin. And holding Bitcoin is a challenge for every investor that how long they will be able to hold their investment. There is volatility in Bitcoin investment, sometimes the market situation is negative sometimes positive and the investment has to be held in relation to such situations or effects.
Surely no one can call himself a Bitcoiner by holding Bitcoin for a month or six months. One is eligible to be known as a Bitcoiner only when he has knowledge about Bitcoin, has strong belief in the future of Bitcoin and actually buys Bitcoin and holds it.
In the early days, a "Bitcoiner" was just anyone using it. Now, with so much speculation, the term got diluted. To me now, it means you see Bitcoin as a paradigm shift in money/sovereignty, not just an investment. That worldview makes you hold through anything. The time and price become irrelevant. You're not holding for an exit target; you're holding because you believe it's the best form of money. That's the real difference.
