S19k Pro New Miner “board name doesn’t match” after official firmware update

Hi everyone,

I just bought a brand new Antminer S19k Pro directly from the Bitmain website. The miner worked normally for about an hour, but the software looked very basic — almost like a test version, with many typos and a very simple interface.

I decided to update it to VNISH firmware, but I was never able to make it work. Then I tried updating to the official Bitmain firmware, and now the miner completely fails to start. Here is the log I get:

I cannot find the old firmware to reflash it. Other firmware I tried (VNISH, BrainOS) just doesn’t do anything.

I also have 5 older S19k Pro miners of the same model, and all of them run fine on VNISH firmware.

Has anyone experienced this before, and how can I fix it?

You likely bricked the new controller with a vnish flash as it may have not allowed it.

If you are not usa based

Look at zeusbtc.com  they may have a fix for you.

That is the wrong thing you did; why did you flash the unit when it was working properly with the original firmware?

Now your current issue is "firmware and hardware revision mismatch".

I recommend doing this first before touching any hardware from your unit.
First, contact Bitmain support. Since the brand-new units are still under warranty, you can request the original firmware from Bitmain.

If it doesn't work, try the SD card flashing. Download the SD firmware from this link below:

Or send it back to Bitmain for repair warranty.
