Hi everyone,
I just bought a brand new Antminer S19k Pro directly from the Bitmain website. The miner worked normally for about an hour, but the software looked very basic — almost like a test version, with many typos and a very simple interface.
I decided to update it to VNISH firmware, but I was never able to make it work. Then I tried updating to the official Bitmain firmware, and now the miner completely fails to start. Here is the log I get:
2025-10-15 12:36:12 miner:BHB56901, board_name:BHB56907 2025-10-15 12:36:12 miner:BHB56902, board_name:BHB56907 2025-10-15 12:36:12 miner:BHB56903, board_name:BHB56907 2025-10-15 12:36:12 board name doesn't match 2025-10-15 12:36:12 ERROR_SOC_INIT: basic init failed! 2025-10-15 12:36:12 stop_mining: basic init failed! 2025-10-15 12:36:12 ****power off hashboard**** 2025-10-15 12:36:12 power off
I cannot find the old firmware to reflash it. Other firmware I tried (VNISH, BrainOS) just doesn’t do anything.
I also have 5 older S19k Pro miners of the same model, and all of them run fine on VNISH firmware.
Has anyone experienced this before, and how can I fix it?
Thank you in advance for any advice.
