Need of following all the open escrow deals:

For preventing another exit scam by an escrow provider.
Here is the link for the case of Master-P who turned scammer from an active escrow provider:

When you ae going to avail an escrow service, do not go for overloading with one escrow when your funds are too big or the escrow provider already has multiple open escrows.

For preventing another exit scam by an escrow provider.
Even I like your idea of preventing exit scam by another established forum member, I doubt that how effectively you can track the funds held with escrows. Do you realize the fact that usually when you do more business  and become established, you will get more offers to work with, but here your idea of tracking would be blocking that. I mean, I understand that you are indirectly suggesting to avoid an escrow who already has more number of active escrow service.

For example, if I want to escrow some $1000, do you suggest that I need to find an escrow who got comparatively lesser funds held with them? But I remember like I read somewhere that people do go for 2 more escrow providers to diversify their risk by splitting the total fund into parts.

The real concern is about how many OPEN escrow deals with one provider and how much money held with them. We do not need to mind anything in a escrow service when the provider successfully closing a deal and going for another one. So, it is not about getting established but about heavy dependency on one escrow. Being distributed among multiple escrow providers is safer for this community.

Unfortunately we have less than 10 active escrow providers and out of them, very few are available for multiple time zone. So, the very active one must be getting chances to grab more no of deals which may go either way. So, as a community imitative we need to spread awareness against heavy dependency on one or few escrow provider(s).

We can effectively monitor the escrow funds when at least one party (either provider or seeker) cares about this reference thread.

I am not here to suggest avoiding anyone but be aware of "your preferred provider already managing how much". After that, all decisions are yours.

When your funds to be escrowed is considerably bigger, it is recommended to go with multiple provider. It must be lots of hassles but all-at-once is not recommended everywhere.
