When humans always have high/much  expectations and are not met it lead to many things few will be discussed and this expectations are goals to be met and it lead to the following:

‎1. Over thinking: Over thinking is one factor and high expectations make people think much and forgetting this over thinking can lead to many things and

‎2. Stress: Stress is one thing that is been generated from high expectations cause it makes us to be busy and working hard to get the expectations achieve and this stress

‎3. Anxiety: Fear of meeting your expectations can bring anxiety and fear cause they create force like pressure to succeed

‎And with this you can agree with me that high expectations bring all this and when we are over expecting it lead to all this and we can find it later that is not a normal way of leaving life cause it can affect our mental and health

I don't agree that having a better goal and struggling to meet is a bad thing? How it can be bad thing because we work for achieving what we wanted to. It is always recommended to set our goals higher and start working on it but the only thing I will say is don't expect the results in the first attempt itself, it can take a few or many but just keep doing until you get the desired result which is kind a high feel in my opinion.

Expectations are expected outcome of any activities engaged in to earn a living which are meant to be placed above as to suit in to your expected occurrence without any form of interference so I see nothing wrong in having high expectations with believe it must come to reality. Although at times failed expectations usually leads to some challenges if fail but that does not mean it should be eliminated it among all.

High expectations is one thing that leads people to an early grave. It is one thing someone needs to avoid. The writer listed a few things that happens to someone with high expectations. It gives someone sleepless night. It can also increase high blood pressure, fatigue, losing weight also. If you have high expectations and it did go as expected,it can set in depression and self isolation because you might think that you have failed in life.

I think high expectations can bring out the maximum potential of a person, create a risk-taking mentality and force them to work hard. Success does not come one day, we will succeed one day, we will move forward with this mentality. If there is hesitation in the mind, it is never possible to do anything good. High expectation is for those who believes everything will work out for them as planned and expected without considering the other side. Imagine, that you have a rich uncle who you decided to go over and spend the weekend with after you must have told him that you want some financial assistance in school.

Getting to his house, you were overworking yourself doing everything to please him so that he can give you a reasonable amount of money. When it was time for you to leave, he gave a little amount of money as if he has done something very big for you.

I mean... obviously there is going to be disappointment if nothing significant is done in order to meet those expectation to begin with.
When people talk about high expectation it usually means those expectation are not aligned with steps being taken to make those expectations a reality, that usually ends up badly.

It is better just to have normal and adjusted expectations and get hands to work to reach whatever objectives we have for the future, staying home doing nothing which daydreaming about future does not do any good to one.

There is nothing wrong with high expectation because our brain is a function of how we think or feel. If you expect little that means your reasoning will only be around that circle of settling for things that are less but when you have high expectations, it builds up your mind to accommodate what is huge that is likely to come which can also make us to reason deeper, act smart and prepare our mind to embrace the growth that comes along with high expectation. However, you cannot apply little efforts in the things you do and expect high returns. You need to put in a lot of work to actualize your vision of high expectation.

From high expectations which seems somehow little as it causes overthinking, stress, anxiety to uncontrollable expectations which causes more harm. I think having high expectations also means that the person is optimistic of what might happen and that's okay. But I think that if the situation has changed and it's obvious that it won't reached the expectation that he's trying to reach, then it won't happen mostly so he's going to adjust his expectations. It's fine if we've got high expectations from the beginning but we should also know how to adjust it ourselves so that it won't disappoint us if ever that expectation didn't happen, just so prepare ourselves with that because we don't wanna be frustrated with things that we expect to happen.

Good to have high expectations and be dedicated to achieve it taking all the chances you can have in your touch. Setting expectations that looks high is another form of telling it to ourself that we can beat the unimaginable. You can not break limits if you do not set high expectations, and it also no crime to not achieve high expectations set, you'll have to try harder again as a subsrir to overthink, stressing and anxiety

If you go through life without expectations then you are constantly surprised to the upside. However, if you go through life expecting things from people, you will have a lifetime of disappointment.

Over thinking alone, causes stress and anxiety. What matters in life is now, expectations only drains the human energy and could lead to isolation when things don't go as planned. People should learn to enjoy life without all the realities going on in their brain. Things might work out or not, that's life, the earlier we get this to normality, our expectations can be minimalized and the energy allocated to worrying over it could be used to achieve stronger goals and aswell help positive thinking.
