You're 34.

You buy a new couch from IKEA and feel like joining the upper class.

You scan receipts for cashback apps like they're treasure maps.

Your boss calls it "company culture" when he replaces raises with a trivia night and a pizza coupon.

Your savings hover around €1,700-- half already destined for your next dentist visit, because last time you saw him, the US National Debt was under $30 trillion.

You've got three debit cards, one overdraft, and a banking app notification anxiety disorder.

You post Nietzsche quotes on Instagram between Wolt orders.

You've memorized Pornhub's geography but still call dating "emotionally draining."

You feel a brief surge of triumph when your seed-oil cereal comes with a "second box free" tag at Lidl.

Your fridge is 70% leftovers in mystery containers, 20% expired no-name cheese, and one yogurt old enough to vote.

You call hanging laundry on the balcony "connecting with nature."

You read financial threads about "building passive income" while your landlord builds an extension on your rent.

Your electric bill is now a personality trait.

Buy bitcoin.

Or keep congratulating yourself for saving €1.80 on oat milk.

Ah, yes, Bitcoin. Because nothing screams "I've solved my life" quite like swapping your anxiety over a €1.8 bank balance for the high octane panic of watching Bitcoins value roller coaster while you try to decide if you can afford the second box of cereal.

at 37 or more if you are able to hold your Bitcoin long enough, you could probably get a second box of cereal then throw the rent you owe at your landlord and say beneath your breath, I did it.

I smiled when I saw this post. It's nice to have you back well it's been a long time on this board we had something quite poetic like this but still ends up the truth. People are getting way lazier about taking advantages of easy investments like bitcoin and they all sit back and complain about inflation. Last time I checked the government don't really care much.

The system’s kinda like a circus might as well stack some sats before the lights go out. Besides considering how the government stylishly switched from gold to the current paper cash they can print endless is crazy.
Preach Fiat is the real scam.

We want change but when we see the change we tend to take a shield into our rented apartments and remain there while our debts gather, more.

Nice poet though, but believe me people will still not buy bitcoin! why because the love fiat and can't let themselves get freedom because the freedom they get from fiat is so amazing just like some in a cage will feel when the cage is renewed. Not sure I'm lucky but at the end bitcoin is with me.

Many people in this time and age still wander in this "cycle of doom" with no plan for the future because to them, they are "living the life". In my country, most people dream is to own a house buy a car and then gallivant the cities and expensive places and taking pictures to impress people who does not even care. I guess in other countries, there is their measure of success that is completely different from owning real asset like Bitcoin. Most of these frivolities can be cut down and those funds pushed into Bitcoin to secure the future.

They switched to fiat but they have the highest gold reserve. It is simple, they are accumulating wealth but the vulnerables are losing money because of their centralized inflationary fiat.

See how gold price rose recently just because the central banks of many countries increased the amount of gold that they are buying since 3 years ago but the same governments are printing fiat for their citizens.

People should be wise, gold can be hard to buy but bitcoin is very easy to buy.

Honestly, this one hit me on a deeper level. There’s a strange kind of poetry in how it captures the quiet struggles of our generation, the IKEA pride, the cashback victories, the fridge full of leftovers we call “meal prep.”

It’s quite funny reading this but there’s truth bleeding through every line. Op literally turned everyday frustration into something almost lyrical. This I think is a poem about survival in a system where fiat keeps losing value while we keep pretending we’re moving forward.

And somehow even in the chaos, it reminds me there’s still a bit of light left in the laughter, in the trying and in the hope that one day, all of this might finally start to make sense. Thank you Op for this piece, I hope to read more topics from you developed in this poetic form.

Many people should be slapped with the fact that they are still wasting time and money on unnecessary things and indeed this condition is a truth where sometimes we take things for granted just because of ambition or even prestige sometimes we always spend money that we should not spend.

It is undeniable that I may be one of those people when buying several items that are only used once or buying a lot of food that eventually expires because I don't eat it even though if I am more able to control myself maybe it can be more useful if we buy bitcoin and invest it for the long term.
Not that buying food and making yourself happy is wrong but we should not be too complacent which in the end actually makes ourselves consciously or not throw away the opportunities that have existed since the beginning with bitcoin.

Your words seem simple, but they are full of meaning, with many implicit and explicit meanings. Some parts of your words struck me in a positive way, and I think every time someone reads them, they will feel the same way I do. I love the way you convey them, starting with discussing the problem and then presenting a solution. I think your words can be used as a reference when there is discussing common economic issues, especially in general, and ultimately, we move on to discussing Bitcoin, along with a detailed explanation of why Bitcoin could be the solution.

You know what? You literally just nailed the reality most people are too afraid to say. Because this entire piece you just wrote above, mirrors how the modern fiat system quietly drains people’s motivation, self-worth, and savings while convincing them it’s still worth investing in it long term. Because to be frankly speaking, you actually just described exactly why Bitcoin exists. As It’s not just about getting rich or being techy. But about refusing to play a game that’s already rigged against you. (i.e your money in fiat keeps depreciating due to bad government policies).

Because the moment a person realize his hard work, and savings in fiat keeps bleeding value year after year because of inflation and bad monetary policy from government, that's when he can understand why Bitcoin truly really matters. As it is the exit ramp and antidote that slow the suffocation you just described above in this thread of yours, A decentralized digital currency built for people who are tired of trading time for money that loses value year after year. And likewise have full control over their money. Hence, the need why it is necessary to buy and invest in Bitcoin. Not out of desperation, or neither about joining the upper class, but out of understanding that it is indeed the currency for the future and opting out of the system that keeps most people from ever getting there (i.e financial freedom due to inflation). But a currency that offers maximum security of funds, and a great potential to have the best return of investment when you buy and hold for quite a long period of time.

So it's actually nice to finally have you back to the forum at O.P

Your fridge is 70% leftovers in mystery containers, 20% expired no-name cheese, and one yogurt old enough to vote.
Now you've made me remember I've got that yogurt that I haven't consumed yet and bought 2-3 weeks ago, I've lost track.

Buy bitcoin.

Or keep congratulating yourself for saving €1.80 on oat milk.
Tough choice for them but it's a fact that people are already happy saving them with that amount buying those groceries.

But if it's about investing and buying bitcoin, they're going to say that it's expensive and they don't have a budget for buying it.

And as you've said, they've got more money buying those expired goods that they completely forget that are on their fridge.

Reality hits them for sure if they will read this.

I cant stop laughing after reading the entire post.  Cheesy. Well I'm happy to see you back to the forum and that CasinoPunkz signature looks good on you, meaning you are fully active now in the forum. Last time I saw your post was at that time you requested for educational material (books) to read.

In my country there is a saying, " A fool at forty is a fool forever". That’s what our grandfathers used to say but now the bar has gone lower to age 30. A no-coiner now at 34 is a no-coiner forever.

In a system where inflation gets bigger than a balloon, traditional banks are urging you to keep your money with them and then you have to pass verifications before you can access it. Like who dont want 10 minutes of instant confirmation when the traditional banks can take 5 to 7 working days, even more to process a large transaction.

Even an18-year-old know the importance of being a bitcoiner. I wont say more than this.

That was funny. You forgot to add student debt and crazy expensive healthcare for the young people, who live in the USA.
I don't see Bitcoin as a financial panacea for people, who are having problems with debt and financial difficulties. Buying a little bit of BTC won't solve your debt issues, because the Bitcoin price won't go 10x in the next few months or years. The only way to solve issues with debt and poverty are by learning new skills, getting a better job and cutting unnecessary daily expenses. I know that inflation is a problem, but most people are buying stuff they don't need, just for the sake of feeling better or because of peer pressure.

You nailed it BlackHatCoiner. This is a typical description of an ignorant man who never see owning a handful of Bitcoin a reality. Every penny matters when we are accumulating. The irony is, most people laugh at the post, agree with all you have said but they fall under this category. They do not own any fraction of Bitcoin and i wont be surprised either. Their ignorance have build a wall around them which they have been able to decorate.

The same people give excuses like, Bitcoin is too expensive to buy now, the poor cant afford any amount. Like for real? I feel these people are giving all these excuses since the traditional system have made them to trust banks and other investment institutions on saving their fiat with them. The conclusions of everything is, a changed mind cannot be altered. Conviction have to come within before they will see every word you said useful and profitable.

Been a while since I see such  quality post on bitcoin discussion. Ill love more of this to keep coming. Have a nice day my friend.

These poet touched me and it has blend of cuation, anger and advice, it’s glad to have you back and I will be looking out for more poet like this from you.

Bitcoin is the king and the hope of the common man and at this point, everyone is welcomed to embrace the future because our cruel leaders don’t give a F…K  about how we feel as long as they achieve their goals.

In my country there is a saying, " A fool at forty is a fool forever". That’s what our grandfathers used to say but now the bar has gone lower to age 30. A no-coiner now at 34 is a no-coiner forever.
A fool at 30 is a fool forever is just a variation of the older proverb which is a fool at 40 is a fool forever. Someone at 30 years of age may still change but someone at 40 years of age may not likely change. But probably the 30 years can be applicable to women while 40 years may he applicable to men. This is not that should be applicable to no-coiners because they may not buy bitcoin and still be smart and be very successful.

Buy bitcoin.

Or keep congratulating yourself for saving €1.80 on oat milk.

This is a said reality of many, also the sad reality of them. This thread covers another perspective that I've always wanted to talk about, people tend to rely only on income all their entire lives, a proper flow and management of income transform into investment, neglecting this fact makes up reasons why there are less or no financial improvement, keep drowning in inflation and more debts accrued.

Bitcoin is divisible, buying whole is not an excuse. Only a damaged brain will prefer to remain stagnant just where he finds the least comfort, an enlightened mind will find solution to what next is to happen, inflation, rent increment, and increase in cost of living.

I choose to buy Bitcoin now, why eat crumbs when you had the perfect opportunity to eat directly from the table? my stand view of how many who ignored Bitcoin will regret why they overlooked such an opportunity, that should have been utilized.

We used to have faucets and a lot of Bitcoiners wasting a lot of time and effort completing them for a few dozen thousand Satoshis a day.  Back then it was pennies in Dollar value, today 30 days of that work equals a couple salaries in undeveloped countries.  It was a waste of time then, it would be savings now.

They always had the option to do ANY THING else and make more from it.  Hell.  Some grandmas would pay 5 Dollars to clean the dust off their furniture.  Clean it and there you have about 3 months of captcha work in under an hour.  But still.  If they kept that money until today, they now have some actual value added up.

However.  So many people are wasting a TON of time doing this only to spend it on stupid things.  Purchasing a new phone or a lot of clothes from a brand that supports child slavery.  If you put so much effort into saving money then at least spend the money you saved wisely.  I often think, it does not even have to be Bitcoin or stocks or Gold or any thing like that.  Any thing that has an opportunity to grow your worth, why not do it.  Even rare Lego is better than saving to purchase a piece of clothing that you only wear once or twice anyway.

Many of them would trust a Bank like their own mother.  If you trust Banks so much and put all your worth in there, at least choose a way to earn something off them.

But they rather empty out their credit cards to buy the newest air fryer that saves you these very important 5 seconds you will then spend on your next Cashback task.

I found most people do not make any sense.  So, yes.

Buy Bitcoin.

34 years is an active person who can do many things but he only has a short time to prepare for his old. If he can not build his passive income, he will be like the others who are still struggling in their old age.

Since I knew Bitcoin helped me make money, I decided to buy Bitcoin gradually. Luckily, I learn about DCA and have used it till now. That saves my time to accumulate Bitcoin so I can make more money from Bitcoin investment.

Buying Bitcoin is one thing that people can do to prepare for their future. While they are busy with their daily life, they have an investment that helps them survive in the future. But buying Bitcoin is a personal decision and no one can force that. So that will be up to them.

I still remember those good old days when most of the newbies were interested to get into faucets but not for the sake of having bitcoin but to know more of it.

Those were the exciting days and first time of hearing what's blockchain, bitcoin and faucets, they're all giving the vibe like everyone has no idea of what they're trying to do.

I think one of the reason is about the society that dictates of what people should be happy with. Instead of applying delayed gratitude and prepare for the future.

They tell that we only live once and they should buy the things that they've dreamt of. But little did they know, they're buying and spending that much money on depreciating things.

When being told to invest, they'll complain on how bitcoin is expensive now.
