BTEN Airdrop Waves — Bitcoin-pace start, community-first doubling
BTEN is a community token. Distribution should be open, simple, and paced by real activity.
Our mainnet Airdrop Waves model is exactly that: minimal rules, on-chain, and it scales as participation grows.
Foundation of the model- Bitcoin-pace inspiration: we start from win = 10 minutes; emission is not set directly — it follows the bootstrap mining speed we choose. At this starting pace the resulting emission is 300 BTEN/hour, with 50% (150 BTEN/hour) allocated to community airdrops.
- Bot airdrops only: random 1–30 BTEN per successful airdrop, pushed directly to registered wallets.
- Fairness: at most one successful airdrop per user per hour (cooldown after airdrop).
- Hourly pool (CAP): each wave sets an airdrop CAP in BTEN/hour. The bot serves airdrops until the hour’s CAP is exhausted (UTC reset).
- Doubling rule: when a wave is unlocked we do not explicitly “double emission”; we double the bootstrap mining speed, and therefore the hourly emission doubles together with the airdrop CAP. Range (1–30) and cooldown stay the same.
How a new wave is unlocked[list=1]
- Post a comment under the X announcement post for the current wave when the hourly airdrop CAP has been hit. Our team can verify it from bot logs.
- Reach the decentralization target for this wave: the required number of unique commenters under that wave’s announcement post (10 for Wave-0, then it doubles per wave).
