The rate of market volatilities are high and for that reason we must be careful how far we trust technical analysis of the market since most coins in the market hardly follow their patterns and so using chart to do the analysis is like working with an inconsistent and unverified datas that can never give you the desired results, so for now avoid altcoins as much as you can unless you want to hold a few of the known good projects like BNB.

I think with what we're experiencing now, it's still tolerable because if we only look for the 1-year time frame, this shows that the market still does good.

I just don't know of when did you enter in the market and that's why it makes you feel disappointed. We have to wait if the market recovers during the rate cut and it's now being talked about.

bro!! the crypto market is always kinda tricky but right now it feels a bit extra unpredictable because of high volatility and too much outside influence like all this news, regulations and big players moving funds around. that is why technical analysis alone does not always work!! because sudden events can flip the trend in just seconds. in times like this it is better to manage risk, stay patient and not try to chase every move you feel might give some profits!! i think sometimes sitting on the sidelines is also part of the strategy.

Crypto market from 2018 to 2021 was definitely easy mode. Then people used to say Do Your Own Research (DYOR) but you can always do the bare minimum and price go up. if you buy into a shitty project, price go up. If you buy into a soft rug, 9/10 times, price still goes up.

Now, it's not the same anymore and I believe it's because the space has become too  saturated and liquidity is fragmented and trapped across the number of L1s, L2s, L3s, memes and every other projects we have in the space. It's no more easy mode.

If I knew about leverage then, I should've retired now because it was more rewarding to use leverage then in easy mode than now.

There is almost no marginal buyer or retail for altcoins except for Bitcoin.

For me I think market have also been bullish and those who have been have already make some gain. Im not worried with the movement of the market because im not surprise about it but it will be a serious issue for those who have a different motive of the market. It can be hard before, in way that the information or support is only limited but I think the scams before are also way lesser than the current market situation. Earnings can still be easy now because of the pumps and dumps but a good skill is recommended to deal with them.

It is seems that OP is not completely new judging on his words but it is strange that he is not used to the fact that sometimes our analysis can go south too. Exactly,  the market seems more uncertain than ever before. The charts don't make sense everything suddenly goes in the opposite direction. Where support or resistance used to work clearly now I see sudden breakdowns or breakouts without any logic.

Only technical analysis wouldn't do the magic for you. You need to also use fundamental analysis which is about the latest news in the world and how it will affect the market. The market is a volatile one making it unpredictable and highly risky for traders. Like what happened today to the market, everything has been down again and liquidated. I guess that it's too much manipulation that's happening here and there. With the Trump family through Eric and Baron, of course they're taking the moment to make money out of these liquidations. And with the help of Donald, everything is being good and in favor of them. Analysis doesn't work at times like this but we have to endure it and get along on what's happening in order for us to survive like what we've been doing for years. Just remember it that the older days of the crypto market are way harder.

Don't be so dumb enough. TA is only a surface analysis, and alts price movement totally depend on what news or rumor as the main causes of price action. Don't rely on TA so much. It's only working when market relatively stable, but when it comes to the momentum plays like when Trump announced tariff. TA won't help you for that thing.

This is why putting SL in all of your limit order is a must. Don't be surprised if alts is getting harder to predict as the big names who are influential like Trump is playing the market.
